Signature Heating, Air Conditioning and Geothermal

This review is for Bill Duffy and his Sales Meeting with us to replace our Air Conditioner after ours died. Bill really explained everything to us really well- All of our options, price points, different brands (even when it would have meant a lesser amount of sales for him). He was very cheerful and outgoing, and has been in the busiiness for a while so knows what he is talking about, and you can tell when he walks you through your old system. We felt very comfortable with Bill, and look forward to getting our new A/C installed. So far, a great experience with Signature.

The sales/consultation process was friendly, professional, and low-pressure. The pre-inspection and installation went completely smoothly. Everybody involved was on time, professional, and friendly. All throughout the process, everybody made sure that I knew what was going on and what to expect. The technicians took the time to make everything look nice as well as being functional. I recommend Signature without hesitation. I've worked with them before and I'm sure I will again.

Signature always does a good job. They are punctual, efficient and cover their shoes when entering the house.

After several years of good experiences with Signature HVAC for regular maintenance of our existing furnace and a/c, the gas furnace started having trouble and eventually gave up. The Signature maintenance guys were even-handed about what repairs likely would/wouldn't work, didn't push for replacement, but I inquired and Signature sent one of their HVAC sales experts (Bill Duffy) out to describe options. I appreciated Bill's informational and fact-based approach, different options to replace just the furnace or also the aged A/C, as well as a range of high/higher/highest efficiency solutions. I had a general sense that their pricing was reasonable, and proceeded with Signature to replace both furnace and A/C. Their well-prepared and knowledgeable installation team removed the existing equipment within a few hours, got all the new equipment in place and working within the one-day promised, and the end result is the peace of mind of new efficient heating and A/C with a 12-year parts/labor warranty with Signature's knowledgeable team standing behind their work. I would certainly recommend both their regular-maintenance and new-installation services to others.

Jim was out for over an hour and a half for a three year old a/c unit. Very detailed with the inspection.

The entire install took less than a day and the install crew cleaned up every speck. Other than the new unit (and now functional AC) I couldn't even tell they had been here. Bill, our comfort advisor, did a great job spec'ing out all options available with detailed pricing. He did an exceptional job explaining the pros and cons of each choice and was very transparent with the pricing.

Danny Cross was a few minutes early for the appointment and very polite. It was clear he had the appropriate expertise and the experience. He was thorough and answered all the questions I had.

I took my time to write this review because I want to see how the unit performs after some weather challenges. The conclusion is, it lived up to its expectation :) The associates at Signature are professional and friendly. Our sales Bill Duffy was great, even though we also took our time to decide on the options, and made some changes, he was patient and professional throughout the process. The guys performed the service were great too. Bill, Gilberto and John arrived early, kept all areas clean and neat. I could swear they made my utility area cleaner too. The unit was installed right after a big snow storm in Jan, since then there were some warm and cold days. Not only the comfort level improved in our house, our monthly utility bill also dropped by about $100 each month. We used to need to keep the thermostat at a higher temperature because our back rooms were much colder than the front ones. Even so, the back rooms were still cold and needed space heaters. After we had our new unit, we could comfortably set the thermostat at a lower temperature, yet still feel relatively comfortable in the back rooms. I highly recommend Signature to anyone looking for heating or cooling service.

Service was excellent, our technician answered questions we had and replaced our air filter upon our request for an additional charge.

Great service, great company. No pressure to sell you parts, just educate you so you can make the decision on your own. Also, they have a good maintenance plan.

These guys were really good across the board. From the initial tech who diagnosed our problem within 5 minutes (another company could not figure it out and installed unneeded part), to Bill the salesman who walked us through our options and not trying to sell the most expensive one to the 2 installers who installed the new system (and cleaned up after themselves). I really got the sense that even though they are one of the bigger companies in town that they really are legit...not trying to gouge every customer and really trying to deliver value. Will definitely use these guys when its time to replace my other equipment.

They performed all work as advertised. The old equipment was removed, the new equipment was installed, and the system was verified to be functioning properly. The new systems have worked extremely well so far with no issues or problems.

The service we received was beyond expectation. We have a one year old and from the initial call, they took our situation seriously on an extremely cold night. Scott showed up very quickly and was able to resolve the issue so that we would have heat overnight. They will be back tomorrow with a final fix. I can't say enough to positive about them and Scott.

As far as it went, I have no complaints. My only issue is that the word "tune up" is misleading as there was no tuning up of my gas furnace. Voltages were checked and temperatures measured, but nothing was done that changed my system. If the current draw on my blower showed a problem, then they surely would have recommended installing a new blower motor at my cost. The same was true last summer with the "tune up" of my air conditioner. Perhaps a problem could be detected in advance of a failure to save the hassle of getting repairs post-failure, but in truth the service man does nothing to prevent a future failure or improve the current operation that I can see. Maybe if I hadn't gotten such a good deal more work would have been done on my system; I don't know. If you are willing to wait for equipment failure, then these tune ups seem quite optional.

Went really well. The room is still colder than the rest of the house, but we have a plan of things we could do to fix it. He also balanced the system, which helped at certain temperature ranges. Very happy with the service.

They took months and months to get the filter that we ordered. Other than that, they were fine and professional. They said that the filters will come in a week or two. I kept calling them to ask when the filters were arriving. We paid for the filters separately from the deal. They were very responsive. They showed up on time.

They have always been friendly, informative and taken as much time as needed to answer any questions and be clean, cordial and efficient. So far, they seem top notch and genuinely desire to help the customer and not just make a buck. When I asked about putting in a whole house humidifier the technician asked the questions that were important to know in order to make the correct recommendation. Even though he would get compensation for selling us on this unit he gave his honest opinion that in our particular case he couldn't promise that it would be the most effective way to put humidity n our home since we mostly use the fireplace for heating in the winter.

There was an issue with the inducer - the boiler kept shutting off by itself - the part ordered did not fit. They were very responsive in reaching out to factory rep who got the right part and the issue was resolved. They were extremely helpful and professional. We have used them for all our boiler repairs since buying the house in January and they have been extremely good.

appointments are easy to schedule. technician was knowledgeable on our system (a geothermal unit). even replaced a filter for us from our own supply of filters

Jason K. from Signature was extremely professional, polite, and very respectful of my time when he came to service my heating system. After showing up a few minutes early, he put on boot covers when I insisted he didn't need them. He explained what he would be doing and how long it would take. After an hour of working diligently he finished in the amount of time he'd predicted and gave me a follow up of his work. He was very detailed about his findings yet he used terminology anyone would understand. I will never deal with anyone else for my heating and air conditioning needs.

It worked out fine. They arrived on time. The price was very reasonable and they seemed to do a good job. I would use them again.

Jason was great. This was our first visit to a new home we've bought, so he was both efficient and informative. He took that into account and gave us a great maintenance visit, full of showing me the works on the heating unit, cleaning, and giving great advice how to get the most for our money and the lifetime of the unit. Signature and Jason did a great job and I will be continuing to use them for future service and maintenance work.
