Signature Heating, Air Conditioning and Geothermal

Arrived on time and performed tasks outlined in the offering. Professional in appearance and very knowledgeable. One con - posted four Signature stickers on the heater unit without my permission. Otherwise satisfied with the service.

Technician Scott Shaw arrived on time. He asked me questions about the system and explained what he was going to do. He showed me how to change the filter in the Air Cleaner. He also took time to explain how the U/V light works and how to handle the bulb when replacing. He was extremely efficient and knowledgeable a pleasure to talk to. I did email via angies list the model of the air filter I needed and the U/V Light. The person who answered the email stated that they carry everything on their trucks. This was not the case. Lucky for me I had ordered the filter and bulb on Amazon for spares but I will be putting those in when they arrive tomorrow.

They were great. Responded quickly to my Big Deal to set up the appointment. The technician, Joe, arrived early and was parked across the street waiting for the appointment time, but I let him know he could start early. He was a very nice guy and complimented me on the basement's cleanliness, which I appreciated. He performed the tune up and answered my questions about another issue and let me know the approximate cost. I was generally very happy with the company, the technician, the fee and the service.

It turned out great. They changed some batteries in three places of my unit but I am not exactly sure where those places were because that was all technical stuff. I have two systems so I purchased something from them for the second unit on top of the deal. They replaced the batteries in both units and then one outside in one of the two compressors. They did not feel the need to change the filters in either system which I had already purchased myself and they said that those did not need cleaning. It was the first time that a company has ever said that they are clean enough and they do not need to be replaced but they were not going to charge me one way or the other for doing it. They also showed me on those battery things where the charge was not up to what it should be. I was very happy with them. They were very thorough. One of the things that I really liked about them was their contract. I bought a modified service contract from them, whereas, the people that I have used in the past were constantly pushing a contract and after the first time and the second time that I said that I do not want it, it got to be annoying. But with them, I was really pleased with their service contract. They came out between 9:00 and 12:00 in the morning. Their responsiveness was great and they were wonderful.

Purchased Angie's List heater tune-up special. Service tech was punctual, clean and competent. Heater is old and not serviced in many years. Got it running well, but pointed out a number of potential problem parts.

Great service call. Very courteous and explained use and management of the unit. Great value!

Service provider was professional and experienced. He took the necessary to explain the procedure and his findings and the additional services that would be necessary. Haven't scheduled the additional service yet, waiting to see if it is covered by our warranty. If not, we will engage Signature to perform the work.

Again, from the time I called until the time the unit was up and running, the service was excellent. I spoke with Brad and I explained the situation about my mother being told she needs a replacement unit. I told him I was calling to get second opinions. Sine I live in NJ and my mother in PA, he told me that he could have someone meet me at my convenience. I told him Monday would be great. He asked if anyone looked at the unit since it had thawed and I said no, the recommendation was to replace it. He asked if it would be okay to have someonel look at it prior to us meeting just to make sure in fact that it did need to be replaced. He told me that he had a technician in the area and could stop by today. They kept to thier word and the tech arrived within 45 minutes. Brad assured me that if there was something that could be fixed, he would call me prior to starting any work. His technician called to inform me that the unit was still in very good condition and that it needed a fan motor. Well with that said, I said okay and went to schedule the appointment. The best news was that they had the part in stock and they came back early afternoon and my mothers unit was up and running. I cannot say how nice of an experience this was from the time I called the answering service, to speaking with Brad and then having Scott do the work at my mothers house. My mother was there for the technicians to install the part in the afternoon and she could not have been happier. I would highly recommend this company and I will switch my mothers service plan in the future.

Service Office called beforehand to let me know Scott was right on time. Explained all services that were being provided. Received services to help maintain efficiency of units and some preventive maintenance. Also, signed up for their monthly maintenance program.

They were very nice and very informative as they went along letting me know what I needed and the prices, my system is 10 yrs old. I highly recommend Signature because I felt that they were honest and did a great job. My technician was John Eccles and was very nice! I now signed up for their program to maintain my Heating and Air Conditioning!

He was good. He was very good at explaining things and found some parts that needed replacement or adjustment.

They were neat and clean. It was efficiently done and everything was taken care off.

The technician was punctual,. he was also well-groomed and respectful. He proceeded with the maintenance checklist.... Discussed with us the few problems he discovered and after we approved the extra expense, the tech completed cleaning out debris and replacing the condenser coil Since our unit is quite old, the tech suggested we should consider replacing the unit.

Joe arrived punctually, he was very polite and professional. He quickly was able to diagnose that the unit's indoor coil was out of range. When the unit was set into defrost cycle, refrigerant circuit went into bypass. Both TXV on system needed to be replaced.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was very good. They provided fast and quality service.

John Eccles was a true professional. He was on time, had a great personality and very meet and clean. If I need work again I will call signature and ask for John.

They did great. Provided a competitive offer and completed the job on time and within budget. Workmanship was better than expected. I even referred them to neighbors who ended up using them.

Scheduling was great. I had called beforehand to check on scheduling. It was all handled perfectly.

Identified, with a good explaination and picture, a component that did not need to be replaced yet but would in 6-12 months. Replaced for a very fair price. Also replaced UV lamps for the same cost as when I ordered from Internet and replaced myself. Very Satisfied...Very professional. Signed up for a very fair priced service contract compared to competition.

I was thrilled with the service that Signature performed, the service technician Scott was very pleasant and helpful. He inspected the forced air unit and informed me that there would not be any additional charges needed and described in detail what he will be doing. Overall the installation took about 2.5 hours and Scott did an excellent job. The installation was professional and looks great. The experience with the office staff was superb as well. They walked through the process at a high level and told me what I could expect. I will most certainly hire Signature to come out and do any future HVAC work I need to have done.

I was extremely pleased with this offer and how it was delivered. Firstly, I was attracted by the price; it was a very good deal. The installation was no less impressive. The technician, John Eccles, was courteous and professional. He was also very friendly and engaging. He used booties over his shoes so not to track dirt in the house. He installed the humidifier in an non-intrusive but effective location having gone over the mounting location options beforehand. His work was neat, running all wiring and plumbing cleanly and securely. He cleaned-up after himself, leaving nothing behind other than the instruction/user manual. He went over the installation and provided instruction on how to operate the humidifier and what routine maintenance needs to be performed. He answered all questions explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. At the end, he checked with his office, informed me that the bill was completely covered (through Angie's List) and no additional costs were due. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations.

Overall great experience. I contacted Signature before purchasing to understand the brand of the humidifier and had some basic questions. I received a response back almost immediately (and it was late in the evening). Once I made the purchase, I received a call to determine the heating system we had and a few items to make sure they had all the parts upon arrival. Scheduling was great and I even received a confirmation call the day before. John Eccles, was great! He showed up at the exact time (which is rare), asked about parking so not to block anyone in. He wore booties and told me it would be about 4 hours for the install. He brought everything in at one time and put drop clothes down that were pristine clean! He was extremely informative and polite. He showed me how to work everything and was great with question....I would highly RECOMMEND him! The only downside...We have oil heat and they only service propane, or I would have made the switch! I will be calling them for and AC needs and cleaning. Im not sure how the humidifier is working as its new, but the initial experience was great!

Signature was great!! They contacted me within hours of purchasing the deal. Ed was on time and very professional. He showed me how to work and maintain my humidifier. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!!

I purchased a Big Deal for a 22-point winter furnace inspection/cleaning. Details mentioned gas furnaces/boilers only. When I returned a prompt message regarding an appointment, I mentioned I had radiators. Apparently this was not covered by the deal. The Ops Manager, Brad, apologized and said this should have been excluded. He followed up with me several times to see if my refund request was OK or if I had any questions. I appreciate the follow up, but wish this had been mentioned in the deal. Update: While Angie's List processed my refund request, Brad sent a tech (John) out to our home on 1/31 so we could still get the service honored despite the mix-up between Angie's and Signature. John was here promptly, wore shoe covers, and did a thorough inspection and cleaning. He gave me some business cards for follow-up questions and/or service. I was impressed by Signature's service and would recommend them to neighbors.

I had never used Angie's list before and just became member. I saw the add for the whole house humidifier and decided to try it out ( and Angie's List as well). The young technician was exactly on time, performed a very professional looking installation, and explained everything to me. I am very impressed and will use this firm again for Heating and Air Conditioning work at my home.
