Signature Heating, Air Conditioning and Geothermal

The provider called to let me know they do not service my area.

They were professional in our contact. Unfortunately, I didn't notice in the fine print that the deal did not cover oil furnaces

No contact with the company yet. The company has not called. It was a mistake to sign up for the deal because Horizon owes me a free similar service this year for free, therefore I do not need this deal. I am giving it a C rating because they did not call me as they supposed to do.

Was not able to work on her specific furnace.

Overall was pretty quick fix. Nothing major was done. A loose pipe fitting.

Raoul was very punctual, friendly, and professional. He didn't mind that I observed him work and he explained what he was doing and why. I had some residual skepticism from prior calls (from a different company) and he confirmed my suspicion that problems were not as imminent as I had been led to believe. He also told me how to maintain the condensate reservoir and lines, which the prior company (which had replaced the condensate pump) did not. Also, he did not try to pressure me into purchasing a service contract as the prior company had done; the more pressure I had felt, the more resistant I became to the prior company. Overall, I found the service by Signature reliable and of good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Very professional, both in the sales process and in the installation. Good price as compared to other quotes. Crew of three worked the entire day and cleaned up everything afterward. Answered every question in detail. Only glitch was that they got a late start and needed to come back the next day for start up and test. New system seems to work well, very quiet.

We turned our furnace on for the first time this season only to find it wasn't working. Called Signature and they had a technician out that same afternoon. Lee, the tech put on booties and was even mindful of my sleeping 2 year old who was on the couch. He diagnosed the issue and had it up and running in under 30 minutes! That's my kind of service! We signed up for a service plan afterwards. Highly recommend Signature! Love working with local honest companies who you automatically know you can trust the quality of service and their prices!

They were very responsive, and professional. Service tech was on time, and very professional. He took the time to explain my system to me, etc. As far as the deal goes though, it was a waste of money. My system is fairly new, and in excellent condition which I already knew. Basically he just came out, and verified that. He didn't do any of the actual seasonal stuff I thought I would get with the service (E.G change the air filters, humdifier scrubber). *Update* They followed up within a few days after the service, and were concerned that I had not had an overall good experience. We discussed the service performed vs. what I had expected, and were able to reach an agreement and understanding.

Overall they were great. They contacted us quickly to set up the appointment and the technician was professional and knowledgeable. We had an appointment block from 2-4pm. Called at 430 to see if they were still coming and was told he would be there in a few minutes. Would have appreciated a call a little earlier but if this is the biggest problem with the service then we are totally satisfied. Would definitely use them again.

The service we received from Scott was performed to our complete satisfaction. Scott is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of HVAC tuning and repair, etc. Scott is always courteous and professional. He is an asset to Signature HVAC.

It was OK. Scheduling was pretty easy. The technician was good and was at my home around an hour. They promised to follow-up concerning future business, but they never contacted me. Also, the humidifier isn’t powerful enough, but that’s necessarily their fault.

The service provided by Signature was everything I hoped for, plus more. I made my original appointment about ten days before the scheduled date, but called a few days later to reschedule due to another commitment. I was asked if I might be free in about an hour, since they just had a cancellation, and would be free. Since this coincided with my lunch time, I agreed and went home to meet them a little before the agreed upon time. Joe Sarbello and Raul (a trainee) arrived at the agreed time, and were professional and pleasant throughout the entire service call. They both put on protective boot coverings each time they entered the house, and Joe took the time to explain the entire process at the beginning. He asked about any concerns, and since the system was only two years old I didn't have any. I did mention that my youngest son had recently pulled the Carrier thermostat off the wall (he is quite energetic and explores with his hands), which I re-attached. He offered to check the thermostat to make sure it was functioning properly. I also mentioned that to prevent this from occurring again, I purchased a thermostat guard (the kind with a key) last week, but had not had a chance to install it yet. He asked to see it, and then offered to install the guard - at no additional charge! I felt that this qualified as exceptional service, since it wasn't in the list of services in the Angie's List deal, and the guard was installed perfectly. Joe and Raul did a thorough job, it took about an hour for them to complete the tune-up. No additional work was needed, and Joe showed me the results of the tune-up and tests on his iPad screen at the end of the service, and emailed them to me as well. He offered me the opportunity to purchase an extended service contract, as well as the Air Scrubber Plus system. There was no pressure when I declined both offers at this time. Based on the above experience, I would give an unqualified A rating to Signature for the entire contracting and service call process, and would highly recommend them. They will be my first choice for future HVAC needs!

Bob Gress (owner) of Signature Heating Air Conditioning and Geothermal did a fantastic job installing a new geothermal system in my house. I had interviewed several other contractors and was unimpressed with any of the proposals. Bob took the time, took measurements, checked out my duct work, got in the crawl space. He saw that my return duct work was too small and running through the unconditioned crawl space. He offered a suggestion to run new duct work in the attic as well as using baffles to split the house in two zones (two thermostats). It was an imaginative design that solved all our heating and cooling problems. Bob Gress also recommended a drilling company (Edward Powell Pump & Well Drilling). It was obvious that Signature had worked with Powell on many other geothermal jobs. Bob Gress gave a total estimate for the job which included an estimate of the well drilling. His estimate was spot on. This made it much easier to determine the final/total price of the system. After the wells were drilled, Bob got a crew out to our house early in the morning. My wife and I both went to work and allowed them access to our house all day. After meeting the crew (and Bob) I trusted them to be there alone. And the work got finished in two days! I couldn't believe how much work they got done in two days. New geothermal, new ducts, new returns, two thermostats, oh and we had them replace our old water heater. Everything was done and working. Bob also took the time to come out to the house later that week to make sure everything was working and answer all my questions (which he did through the entire process). I can't speak highly enough about Signature Heating Air and Geo. I expected this job to be a big hassle and instead it turned out to be so easy, thanks to Signature. I would highly recommend them. Even if they aren't the cheapest proposal (they weren't for me). But they offered the correct solution and did excellent work. For an investment that's going to last 30 years, it was worth it!

Visit went very well. Professional technician arrived within promised window, preceeded by a call to let us know they're on their way. I really appreciated his insight and got the strong impression he wanted to make sure we thoroughly solved our problem without paying too much, or selling unnecessary services. Our issue was fairly routine, but the tech also offered suggestions about what we could do to better improve our overal HVAC efficiency - without selling us a thing. We did signup for the service agreement because the cost of the contract more than covers the (typical) cost of the two visits that are included. All the other benefits are essentially free. Overall, a great start - I'm confident we will continue to get great service from Signature for years to come.

Went very well. The specialist answered all my questions. He gave me a lot of straight facts, and told me about new products being offered, without being too pushy about it. Sample repair rates seemed pretty fair, even without their "maintenance plan discount".

The service went very well. They did exactly what the deal stated. One technician came out for the job and completed the job in about an hour. He was very respectful, pleasant and professional. He did not try to upsell me and I really appreciated that. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the deal. They met at my convenience and I was overall very satisfied.

It worked out very well. I also signed up with for a year-round maintenance contact with them. It was very good that the technician took the time to explain in detail what he was doing and why he was doing it and what I can do to keep the system running fine.
