Very easy. Told us about problems and best way to fix them.

The check was fine but they found a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Their quote was significantly higher than everyone else. They seem to be good so if we had a lot of money we would use them, but in this case we went with someone else.

Late Sunday evening, 6/14/15 we noticed our second upstairs A/C system was not working. Monday morning, 6/15/15 began my journey of calls. During this process, many voicemail messages were left with other companies (call began at (9AM); to date only one person bothered to return my call. Only two hand Receptionist (a live person to take my call); the competing company did not service my area. In reaching Signature, I was scheduled for service the following day, Tuesday, 6/16/15; with a timeframe of service. Later in the day, I received a call to advise they were able to come earlier in the day; which I agreed to. Today, 6/16/15 I received a courtesy call while the driver was in route, that he was on his way. Punctual to the suggested hour. The Technician quickly identified the issue and repaired it. We found him to be honest, courteous (wearing booties), mindful of his time and ours, polite, and no pressure sales tactic. Also, liked the fact that he was equipped with a ipad, able to accept our credit card and invoice electronically. Satisfied with the service, they'll be doing our maintenance service in the fall.

Technician arrived on time and conducted the review in a timely fashion without attempting to sell a maintenance contract (aware that house was being sold). Very pleasant.

If there was a higher rating, I would give it. I was blown away by their professionalism. The background story: I had an awful experience with a home warranty subcontractor. He gave me a story about having to clean the whole unit, the warranty wouldn't cover the maintenance, and the cost would be $600 plus the $100 warranty service fee. On top of that, he was rude, dismissive, and condescending. When Scott from Signature and his partner (I cannot recall his name, unfortunately) arrived, I was greeted warmly. They walked me through their whole diagnostic process. I relayed my experience to them, and they explained how the subcontractor's diagnosis was completely bogus. The home warranty guy talked about a 3-4 hour cleaning job, and Signature was finished in 20 minutes. All I needed was refrigerant and a new capacitor, a $400 charge versus $600 that would've solved nothing. These guys know how to go above and beyond too. I originally purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a $20 diagnosis and set my appointment for two days from then. Signature called the next day to tell me they didn't cover my area. Angie's List reimbursed me for the coupon, but surprisingly Signature showed up for the appointment anyway. Scott explained the new guy made a mistake in cancelling the appointment. Since I'd been refunded the coupon, they waived the diagnostic fee altogether. It was an honest mistake - I wasn't even upset about it - but they still made up for it. That says a lot about a company.

Arrived on time, properly introduced themselves, got straight to work. Advised replacing the drain line trap with a newer style. Also advised on replacing an old ionizing air cleaner (unused) with a box filter, how to replace old flexible air ducts, and answered some questions about geothermal heating. Overall impression is of a good professional crew.

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Signature HVAC. Bill Duffy did a great job setting us up with an energy efficient heat pump that we would get a PECO credit for. On installation day, the team showed up at 7am and worked all the way through until 4pm. They did a phenomenal job! I can't say how much I appreciated the professionalism from all representation from Signature HVAC. Since the install, our heat pump works great and is much more powerful than the old one and cools our place in no time. In addition, it has a 12 year warranty. Talk about worry free!

They were very professional and great to work with. They identified a couple issues with our unit (its 12 years old and I expected there might be something), replacing the contactor. Prices were on par with other providers in our area. No pressure sales; They just listed what they recommended and left it to me. Given I was happy with the service (and their quote), I was happy to have them do this work as well.

Signature is a top notch company. To begin, the office staff was very attentive. They responded quickly and got us service in excellent turn-around time. The technician was very professional and got the old unit working so well we hedged about getting a new one. However, due to the age of the old unit we decided to move forward and talk to one of their salespeople about a new central air conditioning unit. They also offered to deduct what we paid for the service if we purchased a new unit. The salesman that came out was extremely knowledgeable and his demeanor was friendly. He was the only salesperson from any of the companies we got estimates from that measured our house. That would assure we were getting the correct sized unit. Recommendations were made to us for either a Daikin or Lenox central AC system. We had a Lenox and although we were quite satisfied with it, we chose the Daikin. We did so for several reasons: 1) reviews online were excellent for the system we were purchasing; 2) the price was slightly better than the Lenox and 3) we got a 12 year warranty--parts and labor. Our salesman did not try to push us into more of unit than we needed. Installation went off without a hitch. We were told the installers would arrive around 7:00 a.m. and they were here a bit before that. The installers were very professional. When they completed the installation the supervisor came into the house to discuss what they had done. He took his time and answered all of our questions in addition to showing us the new unit. The entire process was seamless. We also liked that fact that they put covers on their shoes when they walked in our house. No one ever rushed in and out of here and everyone acted in a very professional manner. We are very happy with the Daikin unit. It keeps our home very cool even when we keep the thermostat on 74 degrees. To sum it up, we are very happy we chose Signature and we highly recommend this company.

Scott from Signature Heating performed a routine check on our A/C to ensure it was working properly and efficiently. We have lived in our house for seven years and have never had a maintenance check, so it was time. Scott was professional, friendly and provided very valuable information! We decided to replace a couple of parts so the A/C would work more smoothly and the price was very affordable. Scott also provided information on humidifiers and filtration systems that could help with air quality that we are considering. The company also has a monthly service subscription where they will come out and check on your a A/C and heating a few times year that we signed up for. Our neighbors have used this company as well and have been very happy. I would highly recommend the company as well as Scott! Five stars all around.

I was selling my home and the inspector noted leakage in my HVAC. The two guys came and checked for leakage in the area of concern. They were professional, on time, and honest with their findings. i would definitely use them again. And they found no leakage at all which saved me a ton of money!

I am absolutely satisfied with Lee's work. He is very professional and knowledgable. I'll continue to hire this company for heating and cooling needs in the future.

I purchased the evaluation deal. The workmen came out on time and efficiently determined that one of my systems was working PERFECTLY (after another contractor told me it needed to be replaced.... ask me and I will tell you who the offending company was). They told me that my upper level system was failing, and had a leakage. The freon was gone. Bob (owner) came out after the evaluation was complete and provided me with options. He asked a lot of questions (how long do you intend to live in this house? How much usage? What are your electric/gas bills?). It was a vewry thorough evaluation of my lifestyle, in order to determine my HVAC needs. Good work, Bob! He recommended that I purchase a new HVAC system (rather than repairing an old system that could fail in a year or two). The system he then showed me was a 96% efficient system. The old system was 80% efficient. Bottom line: it will pay for itself in energy savings after two years. It also came with about $3000 in rebates and a no interest loan! SOLD! The work was done in one day. The workmen were all courteous and left no trace of their efforts. I could not have asked for a better group of people to deal with. Today our A/C is working, and we are comfortable! USE SIGNATURE!!! Honest, reasonable, and reliable.

Scott, the technician serviced my ac units and spent a good deal of time discussing some issues and possible steps I could take to resolve them. He was curteous, professional and punctual. I will definitely use them as my go to heating and ac professionals from now on.

After 8 months of using the Daikin system Signature installed, I can say that I am absolutely thrilled with the results. My winter energy costs were significantly lower than expected. I purchased the highest efficiency Daikin unit available w/ 12 year warranty across the board. My monthly bills throughout the winter were $125-1$75 for a 4000 sq ft house with the heat kept at 68. The service signature offered was great. They were prompt, arrived on time and completed the job as they said they would. I highly recommend Signature. I dont believe I could have received better value.

It was great. I have used Signature several times in the past and I have always been pleased with their service. Scott was the technician this time and he was great. He explained everything as he went and was very through. I will use Signature again.

Very professional. Took lots of care in explaining what was needed. Did way more calculating than the others from whom we got bids in determining the size of furnace needed. Cleaned up well after.

The sales rep was very personable. We had to modify the installation date due to a delay in completion of the room but Signature was very accommodating. The installers were very friendly and efficient. They also helped with a question we had regarding the high level of noise the existing system made due to forced air movement in the ductwork. Some minor modifications to the unit settings and the floor registers at no cost. Problem solved. Nice! We use Signature heating to service our existing unit and are very pleased with this service also. They have suggested a few upgrades, provided a price without any pressure to implement the changes and performed the changes the same day.

Joe was excellent. He took the time to explain every aspect of the service. He educated me on the inner workings of the system and gave a thorough assessment of the parts involved. He suggested a course of action for anything that was borderline quality, and gave his educated opinion on the longevity of other parts of the system. His knowledge and desire to be sure I understood the technical aspects of his process were very refreshing. Great service!

I realized that the humidifier that they advertized for $399 was a lower grade. I needed to put in another $200-250 ( I do not remember the exact amount now ) to have the same grade of humidifier that I had before. The technician was courteous and called the supplier immediately to find out the price and product information for me. He also went to purchase and then come back to install it for me. I was happy with his service. But I was not sure if I saved any money at all by purchasing the coupon. I hope Angies't List will have a policy in the future to have service provider give detail information ( models and grade) about the product they advertised as a promotion. Same thing happened a year ago when I purchased a coupon for installing a bath fan. I like to remind all consumers check with the vendor for details of the product if you are considering purchasing a coupon.
