Everything turned out great. We were skeptical about refinishing because we had seen some sub par work that others had done. Russ put us at ease by providing references and arranging for us to go see his work first hand before we committed. The job went smooth and turned out excellent. I highly recommend RJM!!

We are thrilled with the speed, quality, cleanliness, and overall expertise of RJM. If we ever do our wood floors or put down laminate, they are the first call we will make. They left the site in completely clean condition. I will work with them anytime we are doing floors.

Rus was very professional, showed up on time and finished the job quickly. After years of having no flooring in our basement we now have a beautifully finished hardwood floor. Rus even went the extra mile and extended the flooring into the walkin hallway closet under the stairs. All of this only took a day in a half to complete! Rus's work was very clean and he had very little to no waste in the flooring. I would definitely use and recommend Rus again.

Instead of trying to upsell us on replacement of our floors, Russ presented multiple restoration options and was extremely professional. We decided on a lesser expensive method to reinforce cracked floorboards and before we proceeded with the work Russ even showed us how the finished product would turn out by stopping by at off hours to test out restoration on a small portion of the floor. The RJM team was always punctual and extremely professional and I would recommend to anyone looking for experienced and honest flooring work in the Philadelphia area.

It went very much to my expectation. Rus and Josh spent a great amount of time explaining the job to me. They offered me the best price and the quality was good.

Russ and his partner came to give us an estimate on having our bedroom floor redone. They gave us advice about our options. We had questions about some stains on the floor, that we did not know the source of. We had purchased the home and were not moved in yet. They were very honest with us about the fact that the stains may not be completely removable. They showed us examples of what the floor might look like with the various options, and explained thoroughly, about their procedures and the products that would be used. They looked over the area, and planned how they would bring in the equipment, and what electrical source they would use. Russ gave us lots of information to aid us in making our decision, which we appreciated. The estimate was given to us in a timely manner. We requested a change in the estimate (no color stain), and we received a written estimate for that quickly. The final cost was exactly equal to the price we were quoted. After the work, Russ emailed a receipt with instructions on how to care for our new floor. These instructions were also given verbally when the job was completed. It was close to Thanksgiving and we thought we may have to wait until after the holiday to get the work done, but Russ worked with us so we could get it done before the holiday. The final result was really nice. Russ and his assistant did great work and we were happy with the job. The stains lightened a lot, but didn't go away completely. Russ thought they were probably pet urine, which would have been absorbed deeper into the wood. There were several other stains, though, that were removed completely, which surprised us. We opted for a natural finish, which turned out beautiful on our white oak floors. When the job was complete, Russ took all the scrap from the quarter round, which he replaced with new wood. He also cleaned up the work area, and was respectful of keeping our home from being damaged or dirty while moving his equipment in and out. Overall, we were happy we had RJM Flooring do our bedroom floor, and we recommend that you give them a call for your flooring work! Russ and his assistant are friendly and reliable!

AWESOME! I highly recommend Russ to anyone looking to install hardwood. He is punctual, professional, and very respectful of our house. This is the third time I've used Russ to install hardwood. Each time we had a great experience. I wish ALL service professionals were like Russ. He genuinely cares about his customers and their happiness. To truly understand the value of this review is to understand I have worked for two homebuilders and I RARELY hire anyone to do anything at my home. I have a full wood shop and have all the tools to address anything that needs to be done across plumbing, roofing, stucco, carpentry, framing, painting, dry wall, etc. You name it and I can do it. I refinished a kitchen floor 20 years ago in a 160 year old house, but I really did not want to attack this project. It is also important to understand I am a skeptic...and I am in sales, which makes me more skeptical. I am a stickler to details and USUALLY obtain more than one estimate. Russ and I spoke on the phone and then he met with my wife to discuss the job. There was something about Russ that comforted my wife and I. For the first time in 54 years, I did not obtain a second estimate. I felt that I received a fair quote, but more importantly felt that he was extremely honest, prompt and willing to please (do whatever it takes to please my wife and I). So here are the results. Russ was a pleasure to deal with and was a consummate professional. I hope to be able to generate business for him in the future. Russ, you may add me to your list of extremely satisfied customers. Russ was an absolute pleasure to work with on this project. His focus was to make certain that we would be pleased with the final results. He went out of his way to show us multiple colors of stain with finish on the hardwood to help in the decision making process. Russ has great attention to details and noticed a leak in my freezer line which caught me by surprise. He was always prompt and was able to estimate how long the job would take each day. Wonderful. Russ is VERY professional and performs above expectations. He always checks and asks questions to ensure satisfaction. We met with Russ and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and his honesty of the condition of our floors. I was skeptical bc I have seen other refinishing jobs and did not think our floors could be saved. Russ assured me he could save our floors and let me say he was not lying. Our floors look amazing! We went with a dark stain and other people told me to be careful bc apparently it is a tougher process that could show flaws. Russ, again, assured me if that is the finish we want that's the finish we will get. I can't thank Russ enough for making our home beautiful! You are a true master craftsman.

We recently purchased a new home where we wanted the original floors (approx 30 yrs old) sanded and re-stained a darker color. Russ was very prompt in his communication and punctuality. He kept me well informed throughout the process of assessment, bid, work performed, and work completed. No surprises. The floors look great, I am very pleased. Russell and Dave were awesome! They were always punctual, very neat and our floors look amazing. We went with the English Chestnut stain which looks absolutely perfect. I was excited to know that they also install hardwood floors and I will be calling them again when we start the process in our bedroom.

Russ came and checked out the job. He clearly described what he would do and how we should get ready. He came promptly when scheduled and completed the job on time. He was friendly and professional, the job was extremely well done at a very reasonable price. We would definitely hire him again, and we highly recommend him recommend him. Excellent, excellent, excellent! Dave was fantastic, he came over & gave us a consultation first. It was very detailed, he took notes & really gave us a detailed description of the job he was going to do. It was finished in a reasonable amount of time & the final product is GORGEOUS, as promised!! When we decide to refinish the other rooms, we will DEFINITELY be using this company again!!

From the time I inquired about refinishing my floors until the he was finished, Russ was professional, on time, worked extremely hard, and answered all of my questions promptly. My floors were covered with so many layers of finish and had never really be taken care of properly before I had bought it. Russ made them look like a million bucks! I could not be happier with the results!!! I never thought they could have turned out so amazingly!

From the initial phone call to the finish of the project Russ was nothing but professional and courteous. He set up an appointment with me within a day or two of our initial phone conversation and when he arrived at my home he was prompt and explained everything that needed to be done and didn't try to sell me on unnecessary products/services. He gave me a few options and explained each one in great detail. On the day the project started, he arrived on time and went right to work. At the finish of the project (which finished up in the time frame he stated), I was nothing short of amazed! I could not see where the pervious damage/patch work even was in the floor! The finish was wonderful! I didn't think my hardwood was salvageable!! I would absolutely, 100% recommend RJM Flooring to all my friends and family...as a matter of fact, Russ will be returning to my home for more work in the future!!

Russ arrived on time, prepared with materials needed for a two day job. He was accompanied by an assistant to help with moving my refrigerator and oak kitchen table as well as having an extra hand for floor installation. Russ and his assistant were hard-working and kept to task, always engaging in professional and cordial conversation when needed. Good care and attention to cleanup. I felt the overall job went well, and am quite satisfied and happy with my new floor. I have already recommended Russ' company to a friend.
