John Nelson & Sons were recommended to us by a neighbor, and we would happily recommend them further to anyone else. They completely replaced our old deck with a new one and did a great job. 3 out of 4 of John Nelson's crew on site were indeed his own sons, and they were all a pleasure to work with. John Nelson himself responded promptly to any questions we had before, during, and after the project, and also took time to stop by during the project when necessary. He has decades of experience in the building trades which was invaluable in solving some unexpected problems due to the age of our house.

COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Hiring John and his sons was the best thing we could have done. Dont go with the Amish. Dont go with a big company. John is hands on and helps you build your dream deck. Professional. Timely. Competent. Artist. He finishes the job before moving on and he makes sure you are 100% satisfied. Available to you and open to change. Gives a good price and gets right to work without delays. He listens and he adapts as things come up because he is on site. The sons are hard workers and will do a fantastic job. Cant say enough great things about John and his boys. Highly recommend. Go no where else!!!

I hired Nelson and Sons to build a screened in porch off the back of my home from scratch. The entire job from start to finish including clean up was completed in less than 2 weeks. John and his sons are extremely friendly and easy to work with, They are efficient and their work is superior. They worked with my budget to build a porch that turned out beautiful and is everything I hoped for. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future projects.

Overall great experience with John and Nelson and Sons! John initially gave me an estimate in 2022, but we couldn't start at that time. We got back in touch in spring of 2023, and within 2 weeks the entire project was completed. It looks amazing and we're very happy with how it turned out, the entire process and communication with John and his team. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

This is a family owned business who take pride in their work. Johnâ s three sons and their friend did the work and John supervised them regularly. They were punctual and neat. They were conscientious and meticulous in their workmanship. They were very pleasant to work with. After they completed the job my transformer for the lights stopped working and his son came out immediately and replaced it with a new transformer box immediately. I gave 4 stars on value for money because it was expensive, but thatâ s how it is now. The lighting was expensive. Overall I am extremely happy with with the workman ship and my beautiful deck that I can now enjoy more than I have in the past 20 years. It is gorgeous!
