MoreVent Heating Cooling Plumbing

Needed an HVAC component replaced and I was able to obtain a new OEM unit from a manufacturer-certified distributor with the full warranty, as I lost my job due to COVID months ago. Asked this provider what would be the cost to install this component, and I was told they will not even consider this work if they cannot obtain and charge for the part, even though the component is OEM, and that I would be responsible for any warranty claims that may be needed. MoreVent not only lost an opportunity to make a profit on this project, they lost an opportunity to assist an Angie's List member in need who would become a regular customer if they were helpful, and who would refer others to do the same.

They are very efficient, courteous and they did a good job.

I hesitated to write this because I am sure the company is fine and I usually don't do a bad review, this actually my first ever. However only because I became frustrated during the end of the sales call plus I made it clear we needed a "budget" when I made the appointment but may consider replacement based on a seasonal special they were running if the price was right. Well after over two hours of the sales person doing the survey and presentation, he asked if I had any questions and if I liked what was offered. I said yes and will see if we might do the replacement or wait till next year, our current system is working but 14 years old. Long story short after me trying to be nice about me saying this is a major investment of some $13,000 for the "special" being offered. I needed to think about it, thinking this was somewhat a high replacement cost for a good system not a better or best and that price including a free heat system as part of the off season special offer. The sales rep couldn't explain the excessive labor cost, saying that portion of the cost is driven by upper management. Anyway, I felt highly pressured to agree to new system before he left and decided not to for the reasons mentioned. I was never left any brochures, product information or was offered a proposal which I thought strange. I'm sure the rep was just doing his job but I would say be careful of specials being offered if someone can't be specific about the cost breakdown of a new HVAC system.

We needed the full AC replaced in our house (outside unit and inside blower unit). Was referred to MoreVent by a family member. While a bit more expensive than the two other quotes we received, we feel you truly get what you pay for with MoreVent and chose them. From the initial sales call through the scheduling, installation, and final walk-through (with MoreVent and local inspectors) MoreVent provided grade-A customer service and I would highly recommend them and will use them for all of our HVAC needs. The sales team (two guys) spent nearly two hours at the house - first sat to discuss what it is we were looking to do, then taking measurements, and then sitting back down to go through details about the quote they just wrote up. They answered every single question thoroughly and professionally. The quotes (3 different levels/prices:approx. $7,200; $8,600; $9,800) provided right then and there were what they'd charge, nothing more. They even responded very thoroughly to questions I'd emailed them prior to selecting them as the company for the install. The scheduling team had a cancellation and so MoreVent was able to come out much faster to do the job (which was great since the June temps were increasing). The installation team was prompt and also incredibly professional and courteous. They covered the floors where they'd be walking so as to not damage anything, informed us along the way of progress and completed the job in one day. Lastly, the owner himself came out on the day of the inspection. Like everyone else we interacted with at MoreVent he was friendly, courteous and professional. It's been one-and-a-half months since the install and while we paid a bit more than we would have with another company, we feel that we received the most for our money with MoreVent. And not once have we regretted paying for what we received. Their employees are all professional, knowledgeable, and work extremely hard to deliver great customer service and satisfaction; we highly recommend them. You truly get what you pay for when you choose MoreVent and we will use them for all of our HVAC needs.

It was pricey. It was a little, but great quality. There were two guys, and it took them about seven and a half hours to do the work.

Always professional and friendly. Service contract prices seem a bit high, especially after paying for 10 years, but they offer comprehensive coverage depending on plan chosen and at present offer a decent discount toward a new system for long time customers.

Reached out online and got response within an hour. Scheduled for arrival in less that 24 hours. Tech on time and very professional. He evaluated system and quickly found problem (coolant leak). He recharged the system, repaired the leak and checked the rest of the system to assure no other leaks. House was back in order and cool in no time.

They did a great job. Had a few issues in the beginning, but they came back right away and adjusted the system. It works great now. Haven't gotten the first electric bill yet, so keeping our fingers crossed it's much lower.

Installation went smoothly and was timely. Instruction on use was okay. Issues with thermostat hardware were resolved in timely fashion.

Our central air unit stopped working on a Saturday night. I called Morevent just before 8am on Sunday and the had a service tech at our house by 10am and was fixed by noon. Would definitely use them again.

The tech came out and let me know that the repairs would cost as much as getting a new heater. I made an appointment for a week later to have this installed. My grandson-in-law brought his own heating and A/C guy to get a second opinion. The tech took a look for 10 minutes, let me know that it didn't need to be replaced, and proceeded to make the repair. The heater has been running fine ever since. Maybe a mistake was made on the part of MoreVent, but that would have been a very costly one on my part if I had gone with the first assessment. They ended up reimbursing me for the original service call, which I did appreciate.

I woke up this morning to a cold house. I called up Morevent (we are on their Silver plan) and was pumped to hear their receptionist schedule a technician to come out later today. I received a call about an hour prior to the window of time I expected the technician from Morevent to let me know that their technician can be at the house earlier. 5 minutes later there was a knock on my door. The technician did a great job identifying the problem and walking me through the process step by step. Completed the repair in no time and had my heater up and running again. A total time of 2.5 hours had elapsed from the moment I realized our heater was not working to the point where the technician was driving away after completing the job. Talk about fast service!!! I think these guys are great. They have done prior maintenance on my heater in the past as well. I also saved 20% by being one of their Silver members!

It went great - let's face it, who wants to pay to replace a unit that someone else installed incorrectly in less than 6 years? Well, I needed it done, and was referred to Morevent by a family member, after I had a couple other estimates from local staples. Estimate #1 - the company didn't provide written proposals - just verbal - who does that???? Estimate #2 - very upfront estimate, very good at answering questions and follow up. Liked this company, but... Estimate #3 - Morevent - provided many options, costs, follow up, etc. Also, Marco's professionalism and Kevin's "courteous persistence" was part of the deciding factor. We were on the fence and Marco presented us a check just to come out and visit again. Ultimately, that combined with a friends and family discount won the deal. Installed the split system and power vented HWH in about 2 days of work, when the cold was ready to hit. Thankful now that they did. Immaculate job. We are surrounded by warmth.

Woke up Sunday morning to a cold house. Called Morevent, they returned call quickly. Said a technician would be out that afternoon, due to extremely icy roads. Technician arrived exactly when scheduled. Looked at furnace had to return to their service facility to get a diagnostic tool. Got tool and returned. Technician determined that blower motor needed to be replaced. Said the cost of the motor could be in excess of $1,000. Couldn't get the part on a Sunday, but they would be in contact in the next morning. 9:10 AM received a call, they had the part and would arrive between 10 and 12. 10:10 service technician arrived, said he had the part and it was covered under service contract / warranty. Ended up costing me nothing out of pocket. Technican was out the door in 45 minutes. All in all I could not ask for a better service experience.

Arrived on time, cleaned/inspected the heater and water heater. Very professional and friendly. He explained a few things and answered my questions. I would use them again.

They did a fantastic job but they did have to come back out again to fix it again. They also did a fantastic job of cleaning up and getting things back to normal. They responded very quickly. They got the job done over 2 weeks since they had to come back out. The workers were very polite and very friendly and they also put booties over their feet and they were very professional.

They never called us back for 3 weeks after looking at our our A/C and heating system. We they did come they just tried to sell us on a new system and we never heard from them after that. We would never work with them again. We were under contract with them for 2 years prior.

They are professional as far as what I have talked with them about. I did end up cancelling my service agreement with them. I also wanted them to replace my water heater one time but the price they quoted me was way too high. They kept telling me that my water heater needed to be replaced but my tenants would tell me that it was fine. I got the feeling that they were always trying to hustle me. I felt they were extremely expensive.

Very good. My old system broke down right when weather was starting to get hot. Did a great job, price was thousands less than other quotes (I had quotes from 4 other vendors) + the only 12 yr warranty.
