Green Lawn Fertilizing

My lawn looks good. I am very satisfied.

99% of the time everything went just fine, but that 1% totally ruined my feelings towards the company. Towards the end of the first summer (two years ago) I received an email about $100 off of their aeration and seeding program, which I was considering. A couple weeks later I emailed a sales rep asking if that sale was still available; he replied yes and the next day a technician came to my home and provided the service, without me ever giving the go ahead. Needless to say I was very irritated as this additional service costs $400. After calling to complain about the lack of confirmation or notification, the sales rep apologized and offered the service for free. Being satisfied with the rep's response, and because I was leaning towards the service anyway, I agreed to pay for it. I did, however, advise the rep that I wanted a phone call prior to any services in a addition to my monthly treatments in the future. Next summer (last year), everything went fine. Again, towards the end of summer I received an email about a reduced rate for the aeration and seeding, so I called, scheduled the service (because I believed this was an additional, elective service) and a technician promptly came out. This year everything was going fine until August 29, when out of no where a tech shows up while my wife and I are at work and aerates and seeds my lawn. I had never contacted the company nor had I received any correspondence, I also had no intention on aerating and seeding my lawn this year; frankly, I felt like it was in great shape and wasn't necessary. Now I'm fully aware that their services renew from year to year if I don't call to cancel, but as far as I am concerned that is in regard to their plans, not extra services such as aeration and seeding, especially considering that this service costs $400. At the very least they should be notifying their customers BEFORE they show up (which I requested two years ago) to provide a service that costs so much; seems very deceptive to me. Needless to say I contacted the company and after some hassle was told that the charge would be removed from my bill; I also cancelled my service entirely. It really is unfortunate, because I thought my lawn looked great compared to what it was when we first moved in 3 years ago, but these experiences, unfortunately, left a very sour taste. I also think they need to interact with their customer a bit better. Since I signed up with them two years ago the only correspondences I receive are when they're trying to sell additional services (like the aeration and seeding); I've never had a technician or anyone else from the company contact me to see how my service was going or to recommend best practices for keeping my lawn in shape. Because of this I can't recommend this company.

Only made it through four treatments before deciding to cancel. The lawn became worse with the treatments and when calling to speak with a service manager about what else could be done they returned only one of my phone calls. They also gave less than a days notice whenever the came to service the lawn or showed up unannounced.

They leave a report for me every time. They are good.

Company has contacted me to remedy the situation and earn my respect back. Good positive communication. I am looking forward to the right services performed the correct way. I am giving them another chance.

You get the best fertilizer and dosage recommended. Notice before application so you can reschedule or proceed. Follow up notes and recommendation for improvement steps after each application. Very responsive service.

Not well. Suppose to be 7 rounds throughout season. After 2nd visit I noticed weeds & brown patches. I was complimented at 1st visit how green my lawn was but not anymore. Technician came for 3rd round and agreed with me. He administered more weed control, weed control and pre-emergent but not the free insect control I was told I would receive. I called my salesman to complain who was very condescending. He proceeded to explain to me all lawns have weeds that could grow in 1 month from 1 treatment to the next. He was not helpful in anyway. I cancelled service on the spot.

They are incredibly responsive to any communication, responding usually within an hour even on weekends.

So far so good. I'm only writing this now because Angie's List keeps bugging me to write a review; however, it's hard to write something when you don't necessarily see results right away. At this point I can say that the company is responsive and professional. They do me the courtesy of calling & emailing the day before they are coming out to service my lawn since I have pets. I can say that my lawn is looking better, and there are no weeds, which is a plus. The prices are very reasonable. I will most likely use them again next year. I only wish that they would stop robo calling me every 1-2 weeks with offers. When they complete a service, they leave a detailed report of the service and usually include the promotional flyer there. I don't need the additional call.

Usually very good. If I ever noticed issues they are quick to respond. Office staff friendly. Workmen processional. Billing system efficient.

Major improvement within a week. Second application applied yesterday so far no complaints.

Green Lawn is reliable and always provides detailed statements of the work done during each visit and recommendations for additional optional recommended services.

For quite a few years now we have used Green Lawn Fertilzing annually to treat our lawn periodically during the growing season. We contract with an annual plan which is great so we don't have to think too much about it.

Green Lawn is excellent. They send me an e-mail notification prior to each treatment, with an explanation of what will be done. They always show up on the date they set (weather permitting), and our lawn looks much better since we hired them.

Best company around!! Always comes out on time, no weeds and greener then all my neighbors. Finally a lawn care company that knows what they are doing. Thanks Green Lawn

Great local company. Anytime I had issues they came back at no charge and took care of it. The guy was always professional and paid attention to detail on the lawn. Weeds were gone quickly after treatment and was green all year!! Highly recommend to anybody looking for a company that truly cares about their customers.

After a full season of services I can start to see the potential of my lawn. I spent many years trying other companies with not much results. The weeds are 90% gone, the grass is looking greener, and I am excited to see what it will look like this spring. After seeing their sign throughout my neighborhood decided to call them, and they were great from the first call. It took about 5 minutes for them to provide me with a quote and confirmation for the first application date. They email you the night prior to application to inform you they will be out. Also, the technician was very professional and able to answer all my questions.

Great service from these guys. Technicians are always courteous, careful and thorough. They blow walks and driveways clean before they leave. Chris in sales is always a pleasure to work with, very courteous and helpful. Competitive pricing. Our lawn is thick, weed free green and beautiful with zero effort on our part.

Months now and no response from green lawn. I've sent them messages through their contact us page at least three times. Called office, secretary is rude and self righteous. Called manager Steve three times. Left two voice mails. No response. So much for "we will get back to you by the end of the next business day." That must only apply for customers who want a job done... Not a job fixed. Extremely unhappy. You've wasted so much of my time and money.
