Wasn't at home, hoping it went well.

Although I initially had some confusion/lack of communication in regards to the scheduling of my service, once I reached out to the company to address this, the response was very quick and they did everything possible to address my concern and ensure my satisfacton. The comunication and customer service from that point on was excellent! And most importantly, we had a mosquito free Memorial Day weekend during our backyard bbq/pool party while they were swarming at our neighbors houses! I would definitely recommend this provider and I will be using them again!

Greenlawn's application and materials are far superior to others. Probably the best testament is that I continually get compliments on my lawn from landscapers and other lawn care professionals. Other providers use hand-pushed equipment or hoses that result in uneven application - not Greenlawn. And if there is a problem with an application Greenlawn is right back out here re-applying the treatment. My neighbors used other companies and they develop bare or dead patches early in the year - but not my lawn. The only gripe I have is that they tend to jack up prices each year which is probably why most people leave and try another service. And yes, I'm a real customer and have been for more than 6 years. The service was okay. I didn't notice any real difference in the quality of the lawn after the service.

They were excellent and answered all my questions and gave me a price. They even followed up a week later to see if I had made a decision so they could put me on the schedule. Eventually I choose not to use them and wanted a company that could do it all.

I've been a customer for over 4 years and my lawn has never looked better. Each year I receive 7 treatments plus an aeration and seeding. They are always on time and I've never had a single issue. They leave very detailed notes on what was done each day, as well as any suggestions if they notice a troublesome area, but they aren't pushy or try to sell me services that I don't need. Overall very pleased!

Green Lawn has treated my home(s) since the 2006 season through a 7 step application process each year. I am now in my 2nd home and they have serviced that property going on 4yrs now...there was a visible difference at both houses and they continue to maintain my current residence. In addition to the lawn car fertilizing maintenance plan, I've recently had them perform aeration and seeding along with grub control which has taken care of patchy spots and produced much fuller healthier looking lawn....I've had 3 of my 4 surrounding neighbors as about who treats my lawn as a result.

I signed up for an annual fertilizing program for all of 2013. Beginning in May, I started to notice my front lawn was quickly turning from a lush green that it was in April, to brown in some areas. I contacted them about it and they told me they "thought" it was pythium blight, and the cost to correct it would be over $600 for a fungicide. I thought that was an expensive remedy for something they couldn't prove was causing the problem. After telling them it was too much money for something they weren't 100% sure about, they offered to do it for under $400, so reluctantly I agreed. By July the root structure was so destroyed, you could easily pull up patches of grass leaving nothing but dirt. On top of that, by August the violets took over and filled up the rest of my lawn that wasn't bare dirt. I had to call the company more than twice to come out and spray additionally for the violets, but by the time the herbicide started working, summer was over. I feel they should have be on top of this since they came out to the property 6-7 times throughout the year and waited until I called them to do something about it. In the fall I had to rake up all the dead grass and weeds and re-seed the whole lawn. Now it's 2014 and now that the snow is melted I can finally see grass again and surprise - the grass is still pulling up without roots and the plight is very obviously still there (mold-like fuzz on grass). I feel like I wasted a huge amount of time and money on this company. UPDATE 3/25/14 - After posting the above review, the marketing manager responded the following day to apologize for the poor results I experienced last year and offered a full credit of the cost of the fungicidal treatment I paid, in addition to a couple other free services to help get my lawn back on track. We also set up a call with the operations manager to discuss remediation efforts for this year. I thought that was very respectful of them, so I'll continue to work with them the next couple months to see if we can improve the lawn. My ratings were adjusted accordingly.

After about 6 month of work, there were no visual improvement. One time they did the application on my neighbors lawn by error which they reportedly fixed by doing my lawn. They keep saying that it will take several more months to see any results.

Dan is great he lets me know when he is and explains what he going to and when he is finished he asks me if I have. Any questions. My lawn has never looked better . I wish more services were as good as this

They are working to improve the situation. I will continue to update the experience here. I have had several problems with this company and their services. I agreed to have their seven step program applied to my lawn and now the condition of my lawn is worst after their service then is ever was when I did the work myself using a well know national brand that has a four application program. I have never had clover and broad leaf weeds as I do now. I use to have one of the nicest lawns on the street. Not now. I can not recommend this company or their product and I am not the only one to give them an "F" on Angie's List After the first five application and my lawn not looking very good, I agreed to have their aeration and reseeding program applied to my lawn in an effort to restore it. It cost $375 and did not improve it one bit. In fact it was in worst condition afterwards because not only did it NOT fill in any of the thin spots there were more created by their machine because it tore up the existing grass where ever it made a slight turn. They did send someone out to try and reseed again but there has been little to no improvement. I have asked for a refund for this service but they have refused to date. I recently contacted the company about my dissatisfaction and told them to cancel any remaining applications. They said they would send a "manager" out to review the situation. No one ever contacted me to advise me when this person would be at my home. Instead I came home one day to find a note saying someone had been there and they went ahead with the next application, without my permission.. Then I received an invoice in the mail for the application and the site visit of the "manager." I never requested, a manager's visit nor did I authorize the application of their product. And for this I was billed $140. I refused to pay this. I was then contacted by a sales person who was supposed to see me this week. He never showed up or called. The green lawn program is a seven application program and it was not as effective as the four application program I previously applied leading me to believe the product they are putting on my lawn is not as effective for whatever reason. I also find the company for the most part to be none responsive to my problems and concerns. For these reasons I cannot honestly recommend them to others.

I was a new customer and asked how much would it cost, explaining that I hadn't used the service before , however my neighbor appeared to have good results with their year long service. I was quoted a price of $200.00. several days later the service was performed. I remitted a check for 100.00 and a coupon from their web site "for new customers only". I subsequently received a call several days later suggesting I wasn't entitled to use their coupon, due to the fact I had been given a discounted price with the initial price. I was disappointed I hadn't been told the pricing structure from the beginning and when I was quoted the price it was a matter of fact $200.00. It would have been better to tell me the price was usually 300.00 and I was receiving a discounted price as a new customer.|Most of the seed grew in very nicely. After 3 weeks of growth I have approximately 10-20 % spots which remain bear dirt. I called to have those areas fixed, and was told seeding was over for the year, as it was too cold. It could be fixed in the spring, but unfortunately a couldn't receive the of the season crab grass preventer, as the seed would not grow. Waiting a year until next fall is not a viable option. I was promised the would apply and re-seed in the early part of the season Feb-March. This still may be too cold but we'll wait and see if they return as promised next spring to re-seed the bare spot areas.

We were particularly concerned about the crabgrass in our lawn and was assured before beginning the service that it would be taken care of. After three treatments the lawn was infested with crab grass and nutsedge. The overall condition of the lawn was horrible, with dead areas and brown spots. The technician doing the service also ripped up our lawn with the equipment. After complaining several times the situation was never remedied. I would not recommend Green Lawn

It went very well. I called to make an appointment. They were very polite and came on time. They did the work and gave me an estimate for more work that needed to be completed within the next few months to keep my lawn looking good.

They came without saying when they were coming. I had told them on the phone I wanted to be here to discuss the lawn service and ask some questions. They did their thing and left marketing literature for more services.

The lawn still looks very bad. I don't believe that the fertilizing or aerating helped at all this summer. 10/15/13 After speaking with Scott, the general manager, Today on the phone, he explained that one treatment wouldn't make much of a change and that they should have informed me of that up front on the point of sale. They should have informed up front that it will take a series of treatments to help the problem. He offered a refund for the service and another treatment. I'm changing my rating from a D to a B for the follow up they provided. Thank you.

I've had a number of issues with this company. My lawn was in decent shape at the beginning of the season. I have had four rounds of application and have been disappointed with each. I have had to call to have a return visit on two occasions. The weeds (crabgrass and nutsedge being the worst offenders) just won't go away despite the treatment. I spoke with the manager at one point- he told me that they have had numerous complaints this season because the product they were using just wasn't working. My lawn is proof of that. Unfortunately, the many unsuccessful attempts to kill off the weeds has also left the healthy parts of my lawn in bad shape. My lawn also never really greened up the way most fertilized lawns do. I used another company last year and did not run into any of these issues. I thought I would try out Green Lawn because they were a local company and they had competitive pricing. I truly feel they use an inferior product. A side note- I was told that we would receive two flea and tick applications when we signed up. It is now September and we have yet to receive them. I have inquired several times about these and have not gotten an answer as to why we have not received them. Another big issue is their customer service. I have had to call several times to schedule service calls. They staff has been rude to me on all occasions (an experience I have never had with another company, lawn or other). When I cancelled my next round of treatment I was told that a manager would be calling me to set up a time to come out and look at my lawn and go over options. That never happened. I gave it a week and called again. Several days had gone by and I STILL hadn't heard from a manager. When I called today I was told that they set up an appointment for me next week- the only problem was that no one communicated this to me. I asked when this appointment was for and was told either Monday or Tuesday, between 8 and 12 or 1 and 5. When I said that I needed an actual appointment time because I couldn't wait at my home for 2 days to meet with someone I was told a manager would call. I'm not sure at this point if and when that might happen. I am floored at all of the positive reviews that this company has received. The service technician has always been very nice. The salesman was nice as well. However, the product, customer service and management have been subpar. I will update my review if anything gets resolved with my lawn.

They are fast and respectful. They had a flexible billing set-up. I don't have to "think" about them, they just do the job seamlessly. And if a new product or service becomes available they call to alert me and don't push me if I say "no".

The service provided was very good. They did wanna come back but this time I couldn't afford it. They were prompt, polite and professional.

I liked that they came out on time. What I didn't like is maybe how efficient it was done. Maybe they could do a better job explaining what they did and why they did it and where exactly they did it.

Other than doing my neighbors lawn by accident everything went well. The mistake was quckly resolved at no additional cost. Both my neighbor and myself were delight.

They were great. They came right out, within that week, and I actually got some grass to grow. So I think I am going use them for another treatment. He called me right away, as soon as I purchased it and told me he would send someone out and within a couple of days somebody was pulling up and I just happened to be home. He explained everything that he was going to do, I asked him some questions, and he answered them because we have pets and I have kids so I wanted to make sure they were going to be safe. He did what he needed to do and he left. He was good and it was a good price.

These guys do a really good job. They spread the fertilizer with a motorized cart and it gets spread very uniformly. Their prices are good. They have a 7 or 8 step program which they use but they don't try to high pressure you into using all of them. I have used 2 treatments so far and will do 1 or 2 more this year.
