Green Lawn Fertilizing

Green Lawn has done a good job, particularly with the nutsedge, which is a very pesty sort of grass!

I bought a discount intro service off of Angie's list and ended up hiring them to come 5 times through out the summer to apply flea and tick spray and mosquito spray. It really works! We saw considerably less mosquitos from this service which improved our enjoyment outside all summer. I only had one night of bites (just me - not my family) and they came and re-applied quickly after I called. Worth it! on time - always called ahead -- great service! They even leave a note every time they come. I am continuing service next year too.

There was a little confusion in the beginning. They send a guy to spray for mosquitos at first. I sent him away and called the company. It took awhile, but they finally showed up and fertilized the lawn. No big deal.

It was wonderful. I had no more mosquitos outside. Finally we could have our picnics outside. They did a wonderful job!

Called to introduce themselves selves, called afterwards to check satisfaction. Agreed to use them for remainder of this season. A little more than our last lawn service in cost.

They preformed the duty. Nothing special.

Don't I wasnot home when they came.Found no more ticks and the Mosqueto population was way down. So I guess it went well. I'm satisfyed

Didn't schedule a time, had someone come out and apparently spray the 2 square feet around the tree in front of our South Philadelphia row home, when I emailed to schedule a time I was told that they had completed treatment. When I said that's not possible because I had bought the service for our back yard, which is a little South Philadelphia concrete yard with a bizarrely large mosquito population, and I hadn't spoken or corresponded with anyone about when they could come out, I was told that their employees were not able to walk through someone's home to access the back yard, and I'd have to get a refund from Angie's List. Nothing at all mentioning specifics of access to a homeowner's yard was mentioned in the deal offered.

Talked to service manager Mike in September . He had left several messages for a free treatment but I didn't want a treatment at the end of summer .Finally I talked to him.He was very polite and professional and apologized . We decided on a free treatment for next spring and I am satisfied.

I would highly recommend Green Lawn Fertilizing for their extremely high level of professionalism. They were able to schedule my lawn treatment easily, called to confirm, did the work, and left a summary of the treatment on my door. Many thanks for their good work.

They changed the time at the last minute and i could not be there. It did work and I would use them again if cost was a little less and they guaranteed time of service.

UPDATE: GreenLawn Manager went out of his way to fix the problem & earn the good rating that I gladly revised & posted above. Very disappointed with the complete absence of customer service. and concern. No basic courtesy to call, to set up an appointment & inform me of their plans, to introduce themselves, to find out about my property & discuss or describe service. Similarly, upon their unannounced arrival, even though I happened to be home with my car in the driveway, no one bothered to ring the doorbell to let me know they were here. According to the invoice they left behind, they spent 7 minutes between 2:33pm - 2:40pm and, they supposedly treated the "entire yard" of my 40x100 ft property! They were neither seen nor heard during their flash visit! Why bother with a Big Deal that is negative advertising, promotes bad service & gives no reason to anyone to seek Green Lawn Fertilizing, except in order to avoid them? I would not seek or recommend their service in any way in the future.

Green Lawn Fertilizing was courteous and professional from the time I ordered the service to the completion of the service. I called to get an approximate time window for the service and they were right on time. The associate handling phone could not be more responsive. The technician on the job was very pleasant, just all around job well done by all.

We have been using Green Lawn for several years. We have stayed with them because of the excellent service they provide and their customer responsiveness.

It works and we don't see mosquitos at night anymore.

The service was decent. I still had them to seed afterwards. I saw decrease in the bugs. I bought a house that was pretty much in foreclosure and everything was over grown. That obviously takes time, that's nothing the company could have done. They did the best they could with what they had. First off the individual who came out had to leave in the middle of the service to get the tanks for the side sprayer. He should have had them on the truck. He is a nice guy.

This was a great deal, so I thought we'd try it. It seems to have tapered the mosquitos off to some degree.

The exception was poor communication. Never actually confirmed or responded when they'd arrive although it was the last of the 3 days I requested. I only saw they arrived AFTER the fact. There was a specific issue I had related to their visit but because I never received any sort of comminque they missed out on a future customer as I see it as a poor sign of a service oriented company.

We have a regular maintenance program with them.

Service was prompt, thorough and fully explained. The service representative was highly courteous and professional. I would recommend this provider without any reservations.

They sprayed for Mosquitos, we don't have many Mosquitos anymore ... Win win

Technician arrived and began spraying trees & shrubs around entire yard and periphery of the house. Since it was raining lightly during and afterwards, I was a little concerned about the application having a reduced effect. I asked the technician but he wasn't sure and stated that the company just sends him out to spray and, since they sent him that day, it must be ok. I e-mailed the company and was assured that the product should be effective despite the weather. They also mentioned to call them if we found any problem with mosquito activity and they would come out to re-apply if necessary.

Provider was on time and completed service quickly, quietly and without a mess.

So far we have noticed a decrease in the Mosquitos outside but it is too soon to tell how effective it will be a few weeks from now. As of right now we are very happy with the service. I actually was not home when they performed the service but as long as it continues to work, we are very happy with our purchase.

Sprayed bushes and trees with an insect repellent. Supposed to last a month. Never had such a treatment before so repeat use depends on how effective the first treatment turns out to be.
