Description of Work: He replaced the pressure relief valve in a rental townhouse. It was a tough job because the old valve didn't want to come off easily, but he stuck with it and got the job done. He checked to ensure there were no leaks and the pressure was good throughout the house afterwards. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: I asked them to come to a rental property I own to assess what had happened that may have made the ceiling collapse (by the time we were called by the tenants, a 6'x6' hole had been cut in the ceiling around a fan/light fixture, which was missing) and to look into why there was a stain elsewhere in the ceiling. The leak that "caused the ceiling to collapse" had supposedly been repaired by tenants' plumber, however, Golden Rule could find no evidence of a leak, nor of a repair. All pipes in the area were checked and found to be sound, leaving us with an unsolved mystery. We were assured that we could replace the missing ceiling without worrying about further leaks there. The small stain was from around the bathtub, where water had pooled. They did notice, in checking this part of the plumbing out, that the faucets in the tub were bad and would have to be replaced. They also suggested, since we had opened up the ceiling below, that we should probably think about replacing the drain in the tub, which was 35 years old and was not done the way it's done nowadays. We scheduled for someone to come back to do the work. Everything was done properly, cleanly and with courtesy. We were so happy with Golden Rule, that we had them come over to our house to plumb a sink in our pantry.

It' a great company to work with for your plumbing needs. They are very professional and their prices are very fair. We have them scheduled to come back to our home for additional work. Description of Work: I can't say enough about how please I am with the services I received from Tim and his team at Golden Rule Plumbing. First of all I live in Florida and was helping an old friend in West Chester, PA have some much needed work done on his condo which he had neglected for years (most of this work had to be coordinated long distance between Tim and myself from FL). During November and December 2013, Tim and his team did the following; replaced a master bath toilet (on the spur of the moment) at my friend's condo the day before I had to fly back to FL. While installing the toilet, his worker (also named Tim) noticed that in the basement my friend had a leak in his water heater, so we had that replaced the next week. Finding this avoided a gigantic headache for my friend (who is in ill health and getting senile). Next we had Tim do some extensive work to replace the tile around the tub in my friend's master bath (which was falling down and the tub was unusable for years), replace all the faucet and shower/ tub fixtures, install safety bars (since my friend is getting older and needed them). In addition he replaced the toilet and all faucet and tub/shower fixtures in the guest bath, which were also much needed. Throughout this entire process, Tim was very professional, always on time, and always very helpful accommodating my schedule with coordinating these repairs for my friend from FL (exchanging alot of emails) and actually doing the work while I was flying back and forth between Florida and West Chester. We will not hesitate using Golden Rule Plumbing again in the future when the need arises. Highly recommended!
