Golden Rule Plumbing & Contracting, LLC

I made an appointment for 8:15 am on a Monday morning and no one ever showed up. Never received a phone call to cancel or change the time. After about one-half hour, I contacted Golden Rule and was put on hold for at least five minutes. I hung up and called back and was told that a mistake was made and that someone did not record the appointment. I had taken time off of work for this appointment and I don't know how a company doesn't take keeping appointments seriously. Very disappointed!

Golden Rule was quick to respond to our problem of a backed-up main sewer line. They were professional in their handling of the work, yet very down to earth and easy to work with. Tim communicated his findings and our options much better than another company we had previously worked with and seemed quite knowledgeable. The pricing was very fair. We will definitely call them again when plumbing work is needed.

Turned up promptly on time after Tim had confirmed the appointment. They were reasonably priced and responsive among the others i tried. Spring is a busy time for everyone but still they accommodated us and did a thorough job.

Golden Rule did a great job. It was a very tricky situation. The clogged pipe was someplace along a 600' stretch, but the specific location along the 600' was unknown and underground. Also the location was pretty far off the road, so a generator was needed to power the snake to get to the clog. No problem for Golden Rule. Bob and Tim brought the necessary equipment to the job site on an all-terrain vehicle, set it up, and worked until they cleared the pipe... Bottom line: Great professionalism. Great knowledge. Great results.

I called and talked to Tim Lasco. He responded immediately, even though his business was short handed at the time, he rescheduled his appointments because he realized we did not have water in our home. When he showed up at the time he said he would be here, he brought with him the part that was needed to repair our faulty water pressure. He went to work and efficiently solved the problem and explained what he was doing & why. I have used Golden Rule before and highly recommend these guys.

Very well. Brett was polite, professional and prompt. He and another gentleman took out the old hot water heater and replaced it with a new one in a just a few hours. He answered all of my questions and cleaned up and we now have hot water. Thank you

They showed up on time, I explained to them what needed to be done, and they got right to work. They were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. One of the parts was missing to the reverse osmosis system I had purchased, so they called the manufacturer and figured out a work-around. I was extremely pleased with their work, and they had the best prices I've seen for plumbing in a long time. We've tried a few other plumbers over the years, and I always felt I was getting ripped off. We have found our new plumbers, for sure! We will definitely be calling them for all the work we need done at our home and my husband's office building. I would highly recommend Golden Rule Plumbing.

It went very well. They were very responsive. I was just disappointed with other plumbers who didn't repond and call me back. Those two other plumbers was refered to me and the name of the compnaies are Falcon and Therman and McLaughlan Plumbing. I was very happy with Golden Rule and Angie's List. They were very very good.

An excellent job! After the first job, I requested Brett because he is extremely thorough. and the work area is so clean, you wouldn't know he was there. I would use Golden Rule, Brett in particular in a heartbeat.

Had a major water leak under kitchen sink and called Golden Rule in the evening. First thing in the morning Bob called and said they can be out today. Tim arrived and was extremely polite and friendly. Very professional. He found the problem and fixed it. He also checked the other fittings and found several loose fittings that would have given us problems in the very near future. He was very proactive and thorough. This was the third time we used Golden Rule and have been happy with their work every time. You can't go wrong using them. Their charge was reasonable for the amount of time they spent on the job.

They're wonderful. They're very fair. The first day they had to spend a long time because they didn't know it was cracked and had to look at the seal and all. Anyway they spent about three hours the first day, so I believe it was $250.00 all together. And then they had to come back the next day to actually replace the toilet and do all that. Whole thing was $250.00. I have used them previously probably a year ago. I have copper pipes and they sprung a leak so they had to replace the copper pipping with PVC and it cost $300. And they actually gave me good advice because they said it probably wouldn't be while my time to do the whole thing which they could have told me I had to do. So they said piece it because it would be better for cost and who knows the other might last. It might last 10 years.

The plumber arrived on time and explained everything in detail. He was great! Reasonable price for quality work.

It was obvious that Tim was an expert and confident of the issue causing the leak. The project was completed efficiently - problem solved. He also suggested practical tips to help dry the floor where the leak had been. The added advice showed that he cares about his client and their home.

Overall it went well. Tim arrived 20 minutes early for our appointment. He was done in about an hour and a half. He disconnected the old faucet neatly, allowing me to pursue getting it repaired in case I need a spare in the future (last plumber destroyed my old faucet when he removed it). At one point, he needed a second set of hands to complete the installation. After looking at the owner's manual, I suspect that wouldn't have been necessary had he read the installation instructions first. The new faucet is working well and I'm happy that the work is done. Cost was $165 - $25 Angie's list coupon.

Tom and his crew were always on time and professional. We had an issue with the grout and Tom even came out to fix that, no questions asked. We were very happy with the outcome and process!

Tim showed up and determined after careful examination that the leak was caused by a faulty roof seal which had recently been repaired. Very courteous and knowledgeable.
