I noticed water leaking into my basement coming from the floor of the bathroom above where the toilet drain comes down. I called Golden Rule Plumbing. They got back to me within an hour, and correctly diagnosed the problem on the phone. I was satisfied with the quoted price and engaged them for the work. I got an appointment only two days later and Mike showed up exactly on time. He had the job done in less than 45 minutes and the problem seems to be completely fixed. Mike noticed I had a large rock in the tank of my toilet which I put there to save water on flushes. He recommended with my old house I not use it because the pipes in my house are old and could benefit from the extra water pushing things through my lower-pitched drain pipes. So I appreciated that recommendation. I would hire these guys again.

Scheduled appt for 10 AM to remove old water heater, install new 50 gal Bradford White heater. At 10:45, no show. I called and was told they lost appt on their schedule. They arrived 11:45 and performed work. Carefully emptied old heater and removed without problem. Installed new heater, connected plumbing, fired up - No problems. I appreciated the responsiveness after I called. Very professional and courteous.

Was able to schedule service within one day of call. Mike arrived when scheduled and efficiently did all required work. There were no in-line shut off valves for the laundry sink, and Mike installed these as well. We could not ask for more responsive and well done service. Mike did a great job.

I am VERY PLEASED with the plumbers at Golden Rule Plumbing! The fixture that turns my shower on was broken, but because of the age and brand of it, other plumbers said the entire tub/shower would need to be replaced. Tim, at Golden Rule, decided to think "outside the box" and felt other fixtures could be used. Mike, from Golden Rule, arrived today and fixed the shower, using alternative parts! He was professional and very helpful. The cost of everything was a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the entire tub/shower - I am THRILLED that they were creative and found a way to make the repair - which saved me a huge amount of money - rather than take the route that the other plumbers suggested! Tim and Mike were also on time and very courteous.

Very professional - both Bob & Tim responded to Aqua request promptly. It understandably took a day before they could get to the job but started at 9am and were done by 3, including overseeding lawn in ruts left by backhoe. Not sure of cost because Aqua Home Services covered work.

Mike was on time, worked quickly and was a pleasure to talk to, as he explained what needed to happen. I will have them back again in about two weeks when new cabinets arrive for final installation of sink and dishwasher.Great experience.

Tim, the tech, was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. we called first thing in the morning, they responded immediately. Timcame, diagnosed the problem, and had us up and running within an hour. We are very pleased with Golden Rule Plumbing. The price was reasonable, especially after the coupon from Angie,s List. We have found a very decent company!!

It went great! The pipe leading out of my kitchen was completely blocked. Any water that went into the sink would end up in the dishwasher, which then overflowed onto the floor. I have a home warrantee, so initially had them send a plumber to address the issue. He tried, and was unsuccessful. I had a horrible experience with them, and they finally "diagnosed" it as a collapsed pipe that was not covered by my warrantee. I got my own second opinion from Golden Rule Plumbing after reading reviews on Angie's List. Tim came within a day to take a look at the issue. He said that there was no way to really know if the pipe was collapsed without seeing it (nobody had)--it could possibly just be a really bad blockage that could be cleared with chemicals. He offered to have his people come, try the chemicals, and then proceed to a more complicated (and costlier) solution if the chemicals didn't work. But, thankfully, they worked!! The company lives up to their name by being honest and fair--they didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge, and proposed a much less expensive solution to my problem. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again (though hopefully my kitchen pipe is never that blocked again!)

No work was done during that visit, but Chris took pictures of the leaky faucet so that he could gather information about the available parts, and the next best steps. (He did not have the parts with him, and noted that once he had done some research to confirm what we needed, he would contact us and that we could probably order the parts over the internet relatively quickly and easily. He did not charge us for the visit, but noted that it would make more sense to bill for all of the work at the same time. Chris was extremely pleasant during the entire visit, and took time to talk me through what he was seeing, and what he thought might be the best solution to our problem. His boss emailed me a couple of working days later to confirm that they are still researching the necessary parts and that they will get back to us soon. We look forward to having the work done, and are hoping for a quick resolution!

Our water heater was showing signs it would need to be replaced soon. Another plumber did an emergency repair for us, but hteir bid seemed a bit high for replacing the heater. I phoned Golden Rule, explained the situation, and emailed pictures of the current (old) water heater to them so they could see what we were working with...they gave us a very fair bid (over a thousand less!) and came out to do the work later that same week. Did an excellent job. They phoned in the AM to inform me they would be running a bit late...there had been a severe rainstorm the night prior and the tech was having difficulty getting the new water heater from the wholesaler to my home due to flooded roads around west chester. After arriving the tech did a excellent and professional job. They were neat and clean as well. I will be calling Golden Rule plumbing first the next time. Nice job gentlemen! Thank you.

Good experience with Golden Rule. I provided the faucets and they swapped them out , including installing new supply lines and drains.Quiet ,efficient , no fuss , service at a reasonable price.

Their response time was incredible under the best of circumstances, but particularly impressive given that everyone's pipes were exploding with the cold snap that was happening. I've used them for several other jobs and they are always first class.

The plumbing issue started today. I wasn't successful convincing my husband that we needed to call a plumber until 2 p.m. and even though this wasn't really a plumbing emergency (more like a semi), they were still able to come out same day. They were professional and they got the job done. This is not the first time we've used them and once again, they've come through for us and they did not charge us an arm and a leg.

Had a stuck coupling that was removed and two pipes sweated on. Mike came out the day after I called which was great. Very convenient. Saw what needed to be done, very professional and quick. Definitely will use again!!

After numerous attempts with an auger, Tim was able to clear the clogged toilet. He also looked at the kitchen faucet and advised against it as the fixture was worn. We appreciated his honesty and will pick up a new faucet and call Tim back to install that one as well. Tim also installed the faucet we provided in the powder room. he cut a transition piece for the drain, which was severely worn. Overall we were very pleased with the quality of work, the professionalism displayed, and the value.
