Elias and his team did a superb job finishing our basement. He is very responsive, understanding and great to work with. The quality of his craftsmanship exceeded expectations. We love every detail! He was a great adviser, breadth of experience and helped us every step of the way.

The experience with Elias Construction exceeded my expectations. All the workers were friendly, professional and hard-working! They were all very neat and tidy with their work and cleaned up after each work day! They were knowledgable and always listened to exactly what we said we wanted. Our basement came out more beautiful then I could have ever imagined, it's exactly what we wanted!

We could not have asked for a better experience. Elias was by far the most responsive and professional contractor we have ever dealt with. Without prompting Elias would email or text us status updates on the progress over the week, or on anything we needed to do on our end. His team always cleaned up the space after every day and the subcontractors we met (plumbing & drywall) were just as professional as Elias? team. Elias handled all of the dealings with our township for the permitting and inspection, which was a great weight off of our shoulders. We love the finished product and would absolutely use Elias for any future projects.

We contracted Elias Construction to finish our basement and have been extremely happy with the work provided. They have been great to work with and provide high quality work. The areas we were most impressed with were their professionalism, cleanliness of work space, and high quality craftsmanship. The level of professionalism provided by Elias from start to finish has been excellent. His attention to detail was important in the following processes: documentation of the estimate, design drawings, county / township permits, inspections, and the final touch up work. From the first day Elias and team were on site they made their best efforts to keep a clean workspace. Although there was a lot of work done they did their best to make it seem like there was not a major renovation going on in our basement. Any time we would check to see the progress we were impressed with the amount of effort put into keeping the construction area clean. In addition they also ensured the rest of our house was not affected by the project being completed. One of things that separates Elias Construction from the rest is the high level of craftsmanship put into each item from the intricate baseboards to the custom made bar. His team was able to put their personal touch on different aspects of the project which has made up extremely happy. Throughout the process Elias has been flexible with the scope of the work and did his best to make sure my family was 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend using Elias Construction for any work you are looking to get done!

Elias is a delightful, competent and professional in all that he does. First, his proposal was competitive, thorough and clear. He was pleasant in all our dealings as was all of his crew. They did what they promised, were punctual, clean, respective of our property and created a beautiful result. We were especially appreciative of Elias' willing to listen to our ideas and having an open mind about them. Having said that, he still had the ability to tell us when any of ideas were not appropriate without being unpleasant. A man who is very easy to work with and enthusiastic about what he does. We were so impressed by the work of him and his crew that we have already retained him to do another project for us that will begin within a few weeks. In interviewing prior clients when we were considering hiring him, we found this to be a familiar pattern. Once he has done a project for you, you find that you use him for others. A good professional, delightful person.

After our initial meeting with Elias, we were impressed with the design he proposed and felt that he would be able to deliver a finished product that we would be very satisfied with. Elias always kept us informed of what was happening and what to expect next. Importantly, Elias was on-site regularly and if we needed to reach him at other times he was very responsive to our calls and e-mails. Along the way, we asked him to make a few changes and he was willing to adjust accordingly. The team of workers was very courteous to our everyday living and we felt very comfortable allowing them to work in our home- which was very important to us with having young children. The job site was always cleaned up at the end of every day. We have been very happy with our finished basement and have received many compliments.

We had Elias finish our basement and were very happy with it. The basement consisted of a bedroom, full bathroom, a large living room with a TV area and more. We were so happy with the basement that we later had Elias remodel the bathroom upstairs in the house. Our family has known Elias for about 12 years and have consistently found him to be honest, hard-working, and we would recommend him to any of our friends or neighbors.

Elias's meticulous and detail oriented approach was evident from the initial proposal and all the way through the construction. He kept us informed of progress and asked to double check their work at every stage. He was always available to answer any questions and address concerns. Initial design was tweaked along the way and Elias accommodated changes wherever it made financial sense for us. His crew was polite, professional and trustworthy. Basement came out looking great.

Elias and his team are highly skilled. I could not have asked for anything better. The quality of the work is superb. Elias and his team were reliable, flexible, creative, trustworthy and very professional. Though it may have taken a tad longer that I had hoped for the final product was worth the wait. I love my new basement.

The finished basement included a kids' play room, a 20-foot custom built bar with custom cabinetry, which Elias designed and built himself, and a large family room with a fire place and stone wall. Elias worked with us every step of the way. He communicated clearly and professionally and transparently. We are thrilled with how the basement turned out. Elias and his staff were professional, punctual and importantly they were trustworthy. Elias's value came as combination between his creative eye for design, his detailed and thorough craftmanship, and his professionalism and transparent communications. There were no surprise costs, and no unprofessional staff. Each day after the job the staff organized their materials and cleaned up the working area. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends and family.

We have worked with several great contractors in the past to develop and improve our various properties. Elias was the best designer & builder we have worked with to date. He was thoughtful in his design and responsive to our exacting requests. Our desire was to have a basement that would match in quality and feel the main levels of our custom home. He exceeded our expectations in every way. He built a beautiful two-level theater room with customer ceiling, lighting, and wood work; a hand-built, chicago-style mahogany bar from the ground up for our game room; and a media room with built-in cabinetry and custom wood moldings through out. He also finished a basement bedroom suite and full-bath. Lastly, he dug-out and built two beautiful egress windows with custom stone work and masonry to match the existing exterior structure. All interior moldings and finish work matched the rest of the house perfectly. We have never been happier with the work of any contractor. We continue to use Elias on a regular basis to enhance other areas of our home.

Dealing with Elias Construction was the worst experience we had with a Contractor. We signed an agreement with him to finish our Basement starting two months after the contract signing but three days before his starting date he sent us an e-mail cancelling the contract. There were early signs that he was not dependable. For example before signing the contract I showed him his $500 coupon printed from his web site but he refused to honor it. He claimed that a $500 discount was already included. But nowhere in his detailed proposal you can see that deduction. Also the maximum allowances he gave us to purchase the various hardware were close to the minimum.And when we asked for a minor change he came up with an exaggerated cost. . But in spite of the above we went along and got along and accepted his decisions because we were anxious to get the job done. We even agreed to his request to delay starting the project until November 1st. when he is not as busy. After all of this he cancelled the contract just before his starting date using a lame excuse. Chances are he found what he considered a more lucrative job. In summary, based on our experience, if you need a contractor who does not honor his comittments or keep his word then he is your man.

We used Elias to remodel our kitchen. He removed the dining room wall to make a larger kitchen. This included putting in new windows, new kitchen cabinets, a large island and removing the old flloor and incorporating the new floor pieces (hardwood). Elias was always on time, always available to discuss any issues and gave input and suggestions. He was very professional. He was aware of the budget I set and tried to keep within that budget. And he was very clean, for such a large project, I never felt like there was dirt and dust everywhere. His craftmanship is excellent- the cabinets and island were perfect. He even was able to save my hardwood floor by working hard to save pieces of my old floor and worked in the new pieces of flooring, this saved us a great amount of money and the floor looks great. Everyone who sees my kitchen is so impressed with the final work product. And his pricing was right within my budget. I couldn't be happier with my decision to use Elias Construction.

Everything went great. We were very happy with Elias and his team. His workers were on site every day and there was constant progress on the job. Elias was easy to get in touch with and easy to communicate with. He had great design ideas and worked with us to achieve our design goals as well. I would recommend Elias Construction for any future home remodeling projects.

We had a multiple of contractors bid on our basement. We went with Elias because his prices were very fair and after meeting with him, he felt like "the guy" to complete our basement. He had great ideas and suggestions for how to finish the basement. My wife and I had never had to use a contractor before so we didn't know what to expect. He was very friendly, polite, easy to talk with. He was clear up front and set our expectations for what he could for us. He gave a very detailed quote and time-line for what it would take to complete the basement. Elias did everything for the basement minus the carpet. They studded out, ran electric (even my speaker wires and TV coax), insulation, drywall & spackle, molding and lastly the painting. Elias stayed on track the entire time the work was being done and they completed as expected. Elias and his team were extremely professional and felt very comfortable with them working in our house. All our kids knew them on a first name basis. They were also VERY clean. At the end of every day, the entire basement was cleaned up. There was never any saw dust or pieces-parts lying around the floor which I felt was very impressive. Elias had told us up front, " if you ever need anything or have any questions, just call me". And we did and he picked up the phone every single time we called with a question throughout the building process. Elias and his team completed the basement in the time-frame that he said he would, never any delays. What also impressed me was he told us that after we got the carpet installed he would come back and fix any dings, dents, scratches, etc. that the carpet guys did. And true to his word, he came the week the carpet was installed and spackled and re-painted parts of the walls that were scratched, touched up any of the trim that was dinged by the carpet installation. He even fixed a few closet doors that now wouldn't open due to the thicker carpet. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our basement and couldn't have had a better experience. I would highly recommend Elias for any home remodeling job you may be considering. Thank you Elias!!!

We chose to go with Elias because we knew 4 other family friends who had all used Elias and had raved about him. Plus we had seen his work in their homes and new that he would be meticulous and it he would do it the right way. Also important for us was having someone we felt we can trust in our house when we aren't at home. Elias was the right choice and we couldn't be happier with the work that Elias did. We chose out cabinets and finishes that were not easy and he and his team took their time to make sure they did it perfectly. If it wasn't done right, they started over! We were also very impressed with how careful Elias was. Every day his crew would put down tons of blankets to make sure they kept our house clean. At the end of each day, they would clean up the work area and it would be spotless again (or as close to spotless as a kitchen being remodeled could be). Over the next few years, we plan to remodel our Master Bathroom and will definitely use Elias.

We interviewed several contractors, and we chose Elias Construction because Elias gave us such confidence in his ability and workmanship from the very beginning. He was the only contractor that gave us a floor plan as part of the proposal stage, which allowed us to really visualize the finished project. Overall, Elias Construction did a great job. He kept us informed throughout the process. At key project milestones, Elias would consult with us to make sure we were on the same page as to the scope of the project. Elias also offered advice and his creative insight on ways to enhance our project within our budget. Elias and his team were very professional. They kept a very clean work space - cleaning up at the end of each day. Prior to the job, we were concerned about allowing a contractor in our house unattended; however, we were immediately put at ease by Elias and his team, and they completely earned our trust. Elias handled all aspects of the job, from the permitting at the beginning to the finish carpentry and detail work and painting at the end, and all steps in between. He only used a few subs for some specialty tasks, but his subs were just a good, trustworthy and professional. Elias and his team are very talented, and they hold themselves to a very high standard. They are also very efficient at time management and hold to the schedule. Elias Construction completed our basement project in half the time of a neighbor's project, despite being a nearly identical project scope. In no way does this imply that Elias Construction rushed the job - but rather just the opposite. Elias is very detail oriented and takes his time to ensure quality. Our project took less time because once the job started, his crew was on site nearly every day, rather than bounce around between numerous other projects at the same time. We appreciated his timeliness, as it allowed our family to enjoy the finished basement as soon as possible. Now that it's complete, we love it! We have recommended Elias Construction to friends. Use Elias Construction - you will not be disappointed.

They did a good job on a 2000-square foot property. They were professional, punctual, and responsive. They were very motivated and they submitted the plan quickly.

Elias is very easy to work with. We knew right away when looking for contractors to finish our basement that this was our guy! Very friendly, he easily understood what we wanted and was able to help us with planning our lay-out according to our needs with a growing family. Elias was timely, clean, respectful and always willing to make changes along the way with no hassle. We highly recommend him to our friends and family.

When it came to refinishing our basement, my husband had a general idea in mind. Elias and he worked together and improved upon the original plans and came up with a great design that we were really pleased with. The layout included a full bath with tiled shower, theater room, exercise room, family room, pool room, and custom wet bar. Even though we had 9 ft ceilings, one of the challenges we faced was the low hanging ductwork. Elias re-routed the ductwork and suggested adding tray ceilings with crown molding in certain areas. Re-routing the ductwork and adding the tray ceilings really opened up the space. With the crown molding and other amenities Elias suggested, you?d never know you were in a basement. Elias? knowledge and expertise made it easy to get the required permits and pass our tough township inspections. Since that time, we have used Elias to build a new deck and help with some kitchen remodeling. My husband tends to be a perfectionist and we loved that Elias and his Subcontractors applied their best skills and effort, like they were working on their own homes. Elias is professional, hands on, and very easy to work with. We will continue to use Elias for all of our future remodeling needs. I?d recommend him to anyone.

Overall I am very pleased with the work that Elias Builders performed. For the new Master closet - while the construction part of the work was relatively easy, the doors had to be custom built. Elias was able to locate a specialist that would make all 8 doors with built in mirrors on each door. Installation of the doors were a little tricky since the floor was not even. Elias was able to properly install them and they are beautiful. For the new laundry room on the 2nd floor - there was some very complicated supply and waste lines that had to be run. It required cutting in the drywall on the kitchen ceiling and holes in the joists. Elias worked with the inspector and beam manufacturer for the exact locations that could be drilled for the new lines and everything came together flawlessly. He also installed the tile floor in the room and a new window in the wall where it didn't exist before. This required the outside siding to be cut along with holes for the dryer exhaust - he did a nice clean job across the board. For our basement - Elias' experience with the area homes, the inspector and design ideas were critically important and helped us plan out the perfect basement. We wanted a home theater, bar, sitting area, full bathroom and workout room, and installed 3 new windows into the below ground basement that required concrete to be cut. After a few consultations we had created the perfect layout. Elias started the job on time and date that he provided and was very professional and clean with the work they did. He went the extra mile to ensure that walls were straight and plumb and that the plumbing and electrical were all done professionally by the sub-contractors. Everyday they spent the last 20 minutes cleaning up the work site area and picking up the drop clothes, so while there was major work happening inside the house, after hours you still could walk around and see the work completed without making a mess. In all three jobs - Elias reviewed the work done on a daily basis and you could make changes as needed or point out areas that needed to be fixed. This helped minimize any communication gaps and reduce the amount of rework on important areas. I would use Elias again for my next major construction job.

Our experience with Elias was very positive! My husband and I were both very impressed with how professional and attentive he and his crew were the whole time they were working on our basement. Elias enjoys what he does and it shows through his work. He also went out of his way on many occasions to make sure we were happy and took time out of his schedule to talk things over with us when we had questions. This was our first major project in updating our home and felt comfortable the whole time Elias was here working with his crew. Everyone was very professional and polite and we would not hesitate to use Elias again and would recommend him to anyone looking to update or renovate their home.

A few years back I had them remodel my kitchen and they did a great job. He completely gutted my kitchen and we got new cabinets, granite counters, sink and stove. I had them back this past summer and had them build a 12 X 24 new deck with Trek material. And then most recently I had them back again to install crown molding in my living room and master bedroom and wainscoting going up my stair way. They are very professional and respectful. They are very clean workers. I had a minimal amount of dust in my home during the renovation process. They even put cardboard down to protect our wood floors in the kitchen and also the entrance way and path to the kitchen. Also they put the cardboard up on the walls to prevent scratches or damage when they were carrying materials in and out. I would recommend them to others and will use him again in the future if I need to. Elias is very creative as well, if you need ideas for your home.

Throughout the project, Elias managed all the construction activities very smoothly by communicating the status of the project in a consistent and professional manner. The attention to detail was excellent...any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately.
