Description of Work: Donnelly installed gas heat when my "antique" oil furnace died. They also put in central air; with duct work. Our house was built in the 1860s and figuring out where to put the ductwork was no easy task. Lou worked with us to figure out the least intrusive way to to lay out the ductwork. He's a guy who clearly takes a lot of pride in the work he does. Tom provided information on an how we could finance through an AFC Energy loan. It turned out to work for us. We appreciated the suggestion. My only regret is that we didn't do it sooner! Our house is SO much more comfortable now and we haven't even really had the chance to use the AC yet. Thank you, Donnelly!!!

 + -1 moreTom quoted me just a day after I called and his price was in the middle of the pack but I went with him based on his ability to discuss the details of my difficult install. I have a steep roof Cape Cod and the air handler is in the attic with limited access so a number of HVAC companies gave me really high numbers. Some were lower but did not have the level of experience that Tom seemed to have. Lou and another worker showed up right on time and removed the old system before lunch. They took a second day to run the new lineset, hang the new air handler inside, and install the new outdoor unit. The third day they did the wiring, altered the duct work to mate up to the new air handler, charged the system, and tested the system. The entire time they were quiet, professional, and did a great job working in a tough ceiling-hanging air handler install. Very happy with the work and their entire team. Highly suggest giving these guys a call.

 + -1 moreLou and Dave were at my house 8am sharp on the 25th. Both men very knowledgeable. They were professional and did great work. I had both the outside and inside units replaced. They had to break down the indoor unit to get it removed. I also had both the heat and a/c thermostat combined into the new digital thermostat. Job took a day and a half. Everything was done to specificiations. I was given an upgraded thermostat and upgraded electrical circut without charge due to the original estimate. Having your A/C replaced is a major purchase and I could not have had a better expierence with this company and these people.
Description of Work: Tom Donnelly was a pleasure to work with. He came out and inspected the A/C. It was 25yrs old and needed to be replaced. He is very knowledgeable and knows his business. He discussed the options and how long I planned to stay in the house. Written estimate was emailed to me within a few days. Included with the estimate was rebate information from both the federal government and PECO. Job was scheduled within two weeks.

Description of Work: Donnelly, the head guy is very good; practical, estimates fairly, knows the business so no BS. His guys were good but one had a bit of an attitude, I ended up physically moving the air handler with the other guy because this one said he had a bad back and wanted to cut a whole bush down to get it out! next day he was OK but it shows how one bad day for your employee and it can leave a bad taste. I also noticed that he downgraded the temp control unit on day 2 but did not offer up that that meant a price saving until I pushed him on it. Shame as the work was good but this stuff should bring their rating down I would use them again but would ask that they not send the one particular guy who I got

Description of Work: Old, failed, Amana PTAC was removed from its wall sleeve and the latest model (same size) slipped in. Easy job for strong guys with experience.
