"We got an estimate and made a verbal agreement to get some concrete work done to widen our driveway. He told us it would take three days at the most, but he still isn't finished 20 days later. He left a mess and did damage to surrounding areas through his careless workmanship. He did a horrible looking job and the concrete he installed was not properly finished and slopes toward the driveway rather than away from it.. I honestly don't think he's ever done concrete work before. He is no longer responding to my text messages with the usual phony promise to be here "tomorrow" to finish up. In addition, he went over the estimate by well over a thousand dollars because he told us that the estimate didn't include the price of the concrete and we would have to pay for that separately."

His stump grinder is a state of the art piece of equipment that did a fabulous job in no time at all. Perhaps most important is the fact that there was no collateral damage from the work, no ruts or tracks in our yard.
