"Customer service is a high priority for our company. We never want any customers to walk away from our company displeased. We are disappointed that the homeowners in this report were unable to see our professional service completed, and instead chose to use another contractor. We would like to post here our account of the service provided. One of our professional estimators called and set an appointment with the husband and wife. After inspecting the problem area, our estimator spoke with the husband and reviewed his findings. The estimator explained that in order to repair the damage, the existing faded brown aluminum would need to be removed. After the repairs, we would install new aluminum siding (only available in white), and we would paint the siding brown to match the existing. The husband said he would call the estimator back after speaking with his wife. No return call was received. As for the comment from the Home Show worker, we can not verify or deny this comment from the Bachman’s employee that was working at the show. As a company, we value Angie’s List, and we are happy to know that homeowners are taking a big step in finding a highly-rated contractor by subscribing to the Angie’s List program. We continue to strive for excellence, and we appreciate our customers."

We called on a saturday morning to see when they would be able to come out and give us an estimate. We were told that a crew was working near by and would be able to be here in the afternoon. By early afternoon they came and determined the problem and we had the work done. We also called two other companies and both were not able to come until the following week. We are extremly happy with the sevice provided.

They were responsive and listened to my history of using more than 10 different contractors over the past 15 years and never had the problem solved. They offered a backup plan should the coating not work. They applied the coatings within a half hour of each other and despited many torrential rainstorms there has been no leaking. I have my fingers crossed.

They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would. I had a little minor problem but they came back and fixed that beautifully. I thought the price was probably decent but I had nothing to compare it to. I was very disappointed this year when they took 4-5 days to get back to me.

The price they quoted us was $8980. Our choice was to go with another company, but I probably would not use them in the future because their quote was too high.

I have no complaints except for the fact that they said they had a mason that would look at my stucco and they never came to even do an estimate.

Called and scheduled an appointment for a free estimate within the same week. Showed up promptly for appointment and gave a reasonable estimate. After I signed the contract, they said they would notify me within two weeks a day before they were going to come out to replace the roof. The replacement date of the roof depended on the weather and other projects they already had lined up. Once they called and gave me a date, Bachman came on time and replaced the roof within 4 hours and cleaned up all the mess. They also dealt with my neighborhood association and took care of all the details. I even asked them to hammer in a lose board on the side of my house and they were happy to do it. Very fast and prompt service with no hassle. If I ever need another roof, I would definitely hire Bachman again.

Overall they were really hard to reach, and it was very annoying. I have used them before, but this time I was very unhappy and will not call them again. They were awful, and were not worth my time.

However there are times when the weather causes an abundant amount of phone calls and it takes a bit of time to get to every customer. As a company we do our best to satisfy all of our customers to the best of our ability and it is unfortunate that we were unable to respond in a time frame that fulfilled this customers expectations. We will be evaluating more efficient ways to respond when the weather has effected so many of our customers. We appreciate all feedback, it allows us to learn and grow as a company. Thank you."

The work was started within a few days of the estimate. One day for the cellar doors and another for the roofing. The guys doing the worked looked kind of young, but they were thorough and meticulous. They also cleaned everything up after the projects were complete.

I was impressed with the customer service and the description of how they would do roof (slate) inspections and slate replacements if needed. This company uses slate hooks and does not nail the replaced slates. I have decided to make this company my exclusive roofer- to come in fall and spring to clean out the gutters and inspect my slate roof. I am very pleased to recommend them.
