There were some delays in the beginning, and the estimator provided us with a circuitous and convoluted solution to the problem. However, the actual work crew provided a solution which was much more logical and cost-effective which is ultimately why we chose Allstate. Furthermore, the crew was prompt and efficient, and they kept the area clean while they worked. It's difficult to fully evaluate the work's quality since it was done so recently, but everything seems to have gone well.

I scheduled an estimate for July 21 at 3:30. My parents live with me so I was at work. My 82 year old father called me so upset about how rude this man was to him. He asked my father if he was the homeowner, he replied no and this unprofessional man proceeds to tell my father that he only deals with the homeowner. My father tells him it is only an estimate and he was my father. He proceeds to tell my father that if she knew she wasn't going to be here she should have rescheduled and how I wasted his time. I am so angry. I was never told this on the phone nor is it on the website. Regardless, his ignorance and rudeness was unacceptable! I will never use this company!

Allstate American Waterproofing responded very quickly. I don't know if I would get an estimate from them in the future.

They did the job; that was the main thing. The guy who came out to do the estimate was an older gentleman who happened to have been a former builder. He was the only person who really nailed what was wrong. I had gotten several estimates; but this guy nailed it right on. Everybody else was telling me it was the walls but he was the only one that was telling me that the water was coming in from a crack around a pipe in the floor. He was right and knew it from his years of experience.

I used and recommend Allstate American Waterproofing. They were fabulous. I was pleased with their professionalism, responsive, and knowledgable they were. When Bob came out to do the assessment, he knew exactly what he was doing. I was very happy with their services and I will use them again. He also gave us a discount.

They took the toilet out of the bathroom and never put it back. I had to dispute the charge. They did finally come back and put everything together. With that being said, their waterproofing itself job seemed to do the trick. The man the sent back to fix their mistakes did a great job.

They were very good. They were very clean and fast. They came up from Maryland and they were done in two days They cleaned up all of their mess.

Punctual. Professional. Called prior to showing up. Completed the work on time and did excellent work. We would definitely recommend them again. We do not know anyone that works for the company but are taking the time to fill out the survey because spending money on repairs is never easy or a welcomed event so we are hoping this will help all those in need of waterproofing services to have confidence that this company is the way to go.

After moving into my home, I realized water was coming into my basement. I had three companies come out to provide estimates to waterproof the basement. Allstate's salesperson, Mitch, was very, very personable, knowledgeable and I felt like he really listened to me during the estimate process. Mitch brought pictures with him to show me as well as the company's certifications. Allstate's price was in the middle of the pack of three estimates. Mitch's preparedness was what won me over. Allstate came to my home to install a French drain (along two walls of the basement) and install a sump pump. The workers arrived promptly at 8am, had the containment up in the basement, and were jack hammering by 8:20. About midway through the project, Mitch stopped by to check and see how things were going. As previously stated, I don't have any complaints about the workers what-so-ever. They even stopped worked twice so I could come down to the basement to take pictures of water and mold damage. For the water intrusion and mold in my basement to have been such a traumatic experience, Allstate certainly made the nightmare better than bearable.

THE WORK WAS COMPLETED PROMPTLY AND CAREFULLY. THE WORKERS WERE PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT. THEY DID A NICE JOB CLEANING UP AFTER THE JOB AND MAKING SURE THERE WERE NO CEMENT PIECES OR OTHER DEBRIS IN THE WORK AREA.
