I placed an order. The movers called a day in advance to give arrival time. They packed and placed item in truck. It was delivered within scheduled time, after calling to announce time to receiver. The furniture was unpacked and placed in the house where recipient wanted it.

Work was done on time and as described. Furniture arrived in good condition.

I received a quote online very quickly, as well as follow-up communication. They worked with me to figure out the most cost-effective way to ship the items. They picked up when they said they would and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The items were delivered in good shape.

I used the white glove service and was very satisfied with the care taken with my furniture. My furniture arrived in excellent condition and the driver and team were courteous and professional in their delivery. The pick up and delivery were within the timeline promised. This was my first time to use a service such as this and my only concern was that I had no insight into exactly when the pickup and delivery would be scheduled until the day before. It was a little hard to plan around. Otherwise, I was completely satisfied with the entire experience and would use Transit Systems again if the need arises.

I described the dimensions of my item to them over the phone and where pickup and delivery would be. Gave me a quote on the phone which proved correct. I ordered "white glove service" which me door-to-door service. They picked it up in situ, wrapped it in a blanket, and put it on the truck, and delivered it to it's new location exactly where I wanted it! Beautiful! They called the day before at each location to confirm their arrival time window, and both times they were prompt, professional, courteous, and quick. From first phone call to delivery took about three weeks which was fine for me.

It took a few weeks until they had someone passing through the pick up area. The person from whom they did the pick up thought their professionalism was excellent. A few weeks later I got a call for delivery. They were able to deliver it at a time that I wouldn't have to take time off of work. They carried it to my second floor and unpacked it. The gentlemen were very nice.

Overall the experience was pleasant. I would recommend and use their shipping services again. A large antique sideboard and hutch had to be shipped from New York to Nevada. It was pick up at the residence in New York and loaded into a truck by two shippers. The former owners of the furniture did not have to move the sideboard and hutch from its location. The shippers were pleasant and respectful of the house. It arrived safely, was unloaded and set into place by two shipper. There was no dents or scratches on the furniture. The only issue was that we were told it should take no more that 4 weeks. It end up taking 8 weeks due to it being shipped over the December holiday. While transit systems was easy to get a hold of and responsive, they did not inform me till the second week of January that their shipper had closed down for the last two weeks of December. Thus extending the shipping. I am simply delighted to know that there is a company that is able to ship large furniture without damaging the item and is easy talk to if any problems arise during the shipping process.

It took longer than a regular mover, but everything arrived safe and sound and right on time.

Very helpful in setting up initial move, no hidden fees or surprises. Everything was laid out over the phone and supported in confirmation emails. Helpful day of service when needed to update invoice, professionals from start to finish.

My initial contact with Transit Systems was very good. I received my quote quickly and the customer service representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. She even provided suggestions on where I might locate boxes large enough for my shipment. I was told it would take 7-10 days for the bed to arrive in Seattle after it was picked up in NJ. I was also told that 1-2 days before delivery, the recipient would get a delivery date and time frame so that they could be available for the delivery. I wanted it to arrrive in Seattle three weeks after it was picked up on 5/15/14 so I thought I had plenty of time. What I didn't know was that Transit Systems subcontracts with freight companies to do the actual shipping and delivery and this is where things went wrong for me. Ultimately, the bed did not arrive for nearly 6 weeks. Actually, the bed did make it to Seattle on 6/6 but due to human error, the delivery phone number was incorrect and they were unable to contact him for delivery. I understand that things like that happen but what should have happened next was that they call me and I could have given them the correct number. When I heard that the bed had not yet been delivered on 6/9, I called Transit Systems and and learned about the phone number confusion. I provided the correct phone number and asked where the bed frame currently was. The customer service rep indicated he would find out and call me back but it was no longer in the Seattle area. I expressed my concern and disappointment that the bed was going to miss the 3 week deadline I had and was well beyond the 7-10 days they told me. I did not receive a call back. On 6/11/14, I called Transit Systems again and spoke to the original customer service representative who provided the quote. She located the bed frame at the freight company terminal in Los Angeles and asked them to provide an updated delivery time frame. She was unable to get a specific date but promised to contact me by 6/18 with an update. I did receive an email letting me know the bed would be delivered the week of 6/23. On 6/24 I received a call from the delivery team who was at the recipient's door trying to deliver the bed frame. They were unable to reach him as they still had the incorrect phone number. I was able to correct the phone number and he was able to contact the recipient who left work to race home to get the bed frame. What happened to the 1-2 days notice for delivery? How come the phone number had not been corrected? If he had not been able to rush home immediately, the bed frame may have made another trip to Los Angeles to wait a few more weeks before they attempted to deliver again. The company refunded $150 of the $700 I paid due to the poor service; however, if I had 6 weeks to have the bed delivered to Seattle, I could have had it done for much less. I did not get value for the money I paid. I will never use Transit Systems again.

Packers were on time and did a good job in securing the pieces. The delivery was equally well handled. Both confirmed arrival times day before and day of when they were on their way. From my perspective they went out of their way to be accommodating.

The movers were from a contract company. They were great--made everything look so easy, friendly, on time, efficient.

Arrived for pickup on time. I expected to have to carry boxes to the truck, but the trucker had a pallet and did most of the heavy lifting. The entire move took less than an hour and the materials arrived in Denver 3-4 days later, earlier than I expected (a good thing).

Though the workbench was not fragile, I went with "white glove" service because it was heavy (required 2 people to lift) and would need to be carried up stairs. The timing of the move was critical because my mother was moving and any items remaining in the house were going to be given away - if Transit Systems could not schedule the move within a very short window, I wouldn't be able to get the workbench. Adam, the representative at Transit Systems was amazing - always very accessible (by phone and email), was able to quickly get answers to all my questions and was able to schedule around our moving timeline (turned out there was a delay with the move so the pickup location changed) and needs. I felt the price was reasonable, the service was professional, but Adam was the real reason I would recommend Transit Systems - I always felt like I had a friend on the other end of the line making sure everything would be handled. So, they worked around the changed pickup location and dates, I didn't hear anything until the workbench arrived on the West Coast and then had a slight delay - the delivery service on this end didn't call back for a week and a half - so I emailed Adam and he quickly resolved the situation. The delivery service on this end called within the day and scheduled the delivery. On the day of the delivery, they called before arriving (they had given me a 4 hour window), brought the workbench inside and took away all of their packing. That was it - this is a workbench that my great-grandfather had built. Again, nothing fragile, but I was really happy that they took such good care of it and treated my very small account as important. I would highly recommend them again and again!

Provider transported a dining room buffet from Buffalo, New York to Boonsboro, Maryland. I submitted my order on April 18, 2014, The item was picked up in Buffalo, New York on Friday, May 16, 2014 and delivered on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. I ordered the white glove service and the item was meticulously prepared for transportation and arrived in outstanding condition. The movers were professional and courteous. Item was priced by measurements and not by weight. I was very pleased with this service.

TransitSystems folks were great at communication. They gave me all the specifics and delivered exactly as they promised. My packages were in great shape. I admit that I was a bit shocked at the price - especially when I found that the basic shipping only covers curb to curb service. The driver doesn't offload the items. As a woman there was no way I could offload 158 lb boxes. And the lift gate would have been an extra charge ($160 I believe is what I was quoted.) My delivery took place in the middle of a work day - so it was a bit difficult making arrangements for help in unloading the items and getting them inside the house. But I managed. I would use the service again if needed, but they aren't inexpensive.

Arrived on time, moved items quickly and efficiently. Delivered items within two weeks for a coast to coast delivery. Would use this service again.

Starting with the "bad" ...communication could have been better. I received a call that they'd be at my house within the hour instead of the coordinated delivery they'd promised. Since I couldn't leave work without notice, the delivery was delayed a week. Now the GOOD...they moved a hundred year old piece of furniture across the country...the USA...and brought it to me in PERFECT condition!! I was so worried but they did a remarkable job. It wasn't cheap...but you get what you pay for and I couldn't have done it myself for less. I would absolutely hire them again. Without them I couldn't have bought this amazing unique piece of furniture that will be in my family for another hundred years.

The girl was very nice on the phone and she was responsive as far as getting back to us. They were very good as far as their estimation on how much it would cost, by given the items we were moving and the weight. She was very accurate on that.

As I mentioned above, everything flowed according to explanation of the service. Our only recommendation would be the ability to track the shipment in transit.

They were in constant communication with me throughout the entire process. I would absolutely use them again. They were very friendly, professional, clean and neat.

They were punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate me. I would recommend them to everyone.

Moved an antique sewing machine. They did not meet our requirements. We told them the times to pick it up and they picked it up at THEIR convenience. My sister had to take a day off of work for them to pick it up.They never contacted us when they finally picked it up or when they were going to deliver it to us. We had to call and find out and the delivery date was not when they said it would be. Also we paid for extra service and it was not given to my sister. However we received it.

We paid extra for our grandfather clock to be crated. It was never crated. TSI never tells you that they contract out for the moving services, so they are not the actual movers. TSI advertises that the movers are experienced in moving your clock and setting it all back up once it's reached it's final destination. The movers they contract with are just movers, period. They do not set up the clock and make sure it's working, as TSI advertises. I was informed by the mover that delivered the clock that I needed to contact an actual clock repair person to check on the clock and make sure everything is set up correctly. TSI never, ever told me that! Had they told me this I would have another company to move the clock that would take responsibility. I live in a town that does not have a grandfather clock repair person or expert. I had to set the clock up myself after finding someone who could tell me a few things about setting it up over the phone. For $1600.00 I expected much better service, expertise, and honesty in what they advertise. The one bright spot was Elizabeth in customer service who was a delight to talk to and was very helpful when I needed answers! She did her very best to help me. I cannot, in good conscience recommend TSI. I feel like they were deceitful and false in their advertising and promises!
