Andre was a pleasure to work with. It all starts in the beginning as he did not provide a bid without knowing the materials that we were selecting. This created a transparency in the process, as it was very clear what he was charging, and what it was based on. He is highly knowledgeable about what he is doing, and his attention to detail sets him apart from other contractors who are out there. He is highly personable and trustworthy, and as the customer, you take comfort in knowing that he never cuts corners. In fact, there is a great degree of confidence that he knows how to problem-solve during a job, and he is always right. Could not have asked for an easier experience in doing a remodel.

He was very professional from the beginning. He gave us a written estimate and stuck to it. He showed up on time and stayed until he completed the job. He started at the same time every morning and cleaned up after himself every day. We ran into some unanticipated problems because our house is more than 200 years old. He solved the problems at a reasonable price and did a beautiful job. He is a skilled craftsman. He attends to the little details. His price was better than the other ones we were quoted even after the additional unanticipated cost. We have renovated several homes (including bathrooms) and he is the best contractor we have worked with. And on top of it all he is a really nice guy.

He was a nice guy and he was prompt. He seems a bit on the high end side; I think he caters to the millionaires. He had some good ideas but it wasn’t what we were looking to do. It wasn’t a negative experience; it was just out of our league. If I came into a fortune, I would consider calling him again.

Choose Andre because he was honest about cost. He also shared his design ideas which was helpful and was receptive (and patient) to our wishes as well. From the start we knew he was the right man for the job as the place was still very clean after demolition. Andre completed the job on schedule. We had a couple minor issues typical of jobs like these (none of which were his fault). He resolved through some great problem solving and even gave us choices on how to resolve the issue if there was one We love our new bathroom. Andre even came back promptly after he was paid to fix minor problem. We will be using him for our kitchen remodel.

From start to finish, Andre completed the job as scheduled. He put protective covers on the furniture and carpets, and is a very neat worker!

It was great. He was very helpful, knowledgable, and very accomodating. He also came very promptly, just a day or so after we called. We were very pleased he did not keep us waiting. We really appreciated that.

Andre gutted and rebuilt our hall bathroom which was a 1960s horror, taking it down to the studs and building back up. He was punctual, efficient and actually fun to work with. I have never seen a project involving demo and spackling create so little mess. His control of dust and dirt and clean up each day was impeccable. The project was finished quickly , despite our best efforts to derail it through late delivery of fixtures we had ordered ourselves, and we are really delighted with the results. It looks terrific. He even came back a couple of weeks later on a Sunday to tweak the bath plumbing because the water was not running hot enough due to the manufacturer's settings. More than just doing the actual job well, when he first came to give us a quote he took a risk by suggesting we rethink our overly modern inclinations and be a little more traditional given our very traditional house. His advice steered us in a much better direction He also helped us with finding materials and fixtures we liked by suggesting other places to look. We ended up with good quality materials for reasonable prices and are very happy with the look and feel of the bathroom.

I called three contractors and Andre was the first to respond, returning my call on the same day. He promptly came over and gave us a written estimate within a week or two. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and guided us through the entire process. He started the job on time and finished it on time. He was very neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the finished project and would definitely recommend Andre Simone for a home remodeling project; in fact, we will be hiring him again for our Master bath. His work is flawless!

Gave advice on the choice of plumbing fixtures as well as sources of other elements of the project. Organized the delivery of the fixtures and later installed them. Was very understanding of the final product we wanted. Also, respected time lines and was always very punctual in completing the work. The quality of workmanship was excellent. We will use Mr. Simon again in the future.

From start to finish, everything was fabulous. I already know that I'll call Andre when I'm ready to start the bathroom remodel. Andre gave me suggestions about where to go to find the granite and tiles. He gave me advice about the faucet. He made suggestions about the placement of the accent tiles. He just made everything so easy. After our first meeting, I handed over a key and was not home during most of the work. I never worried about anything. Each day when I came home everything was neat and tidy. I have 2 cats who tend to get into things. That was not a problem because everything was picked up. When it turned out the the kitchen ceiling was too shallow to accept even the small profile recessed lighting we had chosen, he just took it in stride. He patched the hole that had been cut for the light. And he waited for me to pick out and receive a replacement light. I could not be more thrilled with the finished product. The quality of the work is terrific. And Andre's final price was less than Home Depot's estimate even though I ultimately used more expensive materials than on the Home Depot estimate. Great individual, quality workmanship, very reasonable pricing. If you are considering kitchen or bath work, just call Andre!

Everything went well. Demolition was completed within 2 days and new bathroom completed within estimated timeframe.

From the moment we called Andre Simone to the time we said goodby after the job was completed, we found him to be trustworthy and knowledgeable. He directed us to various places to select the procucts we needed and worked within our sehedule without a problem. We enjoyed having him and the men he employed to install the granite tops in our home. He was neat and everything was professionally installed. Our kitchen really looks great. He completed the work as he said he would and even intstalled a couple of dimmer switches which were not in the original estimate. We would recomment Andre without hesitation and plan to use him again when we remodel our bathroom.

I cannot begin to adequately describe how much I love Andre' Simone. My only wish is that I could have him work his magic with the rest of my house (I'm saving up for my kitchen!)...Andre' did a complete bathroom remodel for my older home. From the beginning, he was very helpful with tile selections and he even went out of his way to go to the tile store to check out my choices to make sure that I was on the right path. He understood what I was aiming for, but explained that what I had chosen would likely look too modern in an older home and he made suggestions that ended up looking great and saved me some money. My job was a nightmare from start to finish, thanks to the local inspector, but Andre' handled everything with great skill and humor. The quality of his workmanship is simply incredible--his attention to detail is impeccable. There is not one flaw anywhere in that bathroom. He even arranged the marble tiles such that the darker veins aligned in a really cool way. He even did some extra work that I needed some help with, like replacing a broken garbage disposal...I have no reservations about recommending Andre' to anyone. Additionally, we enjoyed having him around--he is a great guy, and even my dog misses him.

This is the fourth room in our house that Andre has done. Previously he did 2 bathrooms and a den/study. The quality of his work, and the professional manor in which he does the job keep us coming back to Andre for all our home remodeling jobs. As usual Andre did a nice job on the basement. He tiled several hundred square feet and it looks great. He also tore out an old bar area and drywalled the area and installed cabinets for a small kitchen area. Andre is always on time and makes an extra effort to keep the house and the work area clean. He cleans up each day. One of the things we appreciate about Andre is that he only works one job at a time. So you may have to wait for him to start your job, but once he starts your job he works it exclusively until it is completed. We will continue to use Andre as we update some other rooms in our house and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

We had an excellent experience with Mr. Simone. He met with us, toured our existing bathrooms, and helped us to understand what options we had in creating new bathrooms for our home. After we made our choices he helped us to understand what features would work well in the design, which might not work so well, and how much our design ideas might cost. Most enjoyable in working with Mr. Simone is that he IS the company. He helps with estimates and design, he does the work himself, and he stands by his work. He tore out both of our bathrooms in a very clean fashion with little disruption to the rest of the house. He was timely and efficient in his work, and we always knew when he was coming and when he wasn't, and he was very conscientious about working around our own schedules. He installed new exhaust systems in both bathrooms, and created dual showerheads in one of our bathrooms. He took care of drywall work, plumbing, tiling, etc. It is clear that Mr. Simone takes pride in his work. He truly wants his customer to be happy, and we could see he was proud when we brought friends in to see his beautiful work. We have lived with the bathrooms for 5 months now and we continue to be very happy. They are still very attractive and functional, and have held up exceptionally welll to the daily grind of 2 parents and 3 children. Recently, Mr. Simone stopped by to check on his work again and to make sure that everything was in good working order. We frequently get compliments on the flooring and tilework. You can probably find a cheaper contractor (and more expensive ones), but Mr. Simone is PERFECT for a homeowner who wants a quality job done by a quality craftsman! We will definitely use him again when we are ready to remodel our kitchen.

I contacted Andre in March at which time he came out, did measurements and gave me information on what to look for regarding the size of the vanity, toilet and fixtures. At that time he told me he was booked until late summer if I was willing to wait, which I was. I used the tile and bathroom supply company he recommended and found exactly what I wanted. After I found a certified plumber and electrician as my township required (both from the list) and got the permits, he started the job the 2nd week of August. He said it would take about 2.5 weeks. It took an additional week due to major issues with the plumber. It would have been done on time if it wasn't for that. He was there pretty much every day (unless the electrician and plumber were scheduled to work) early and was usually gone by the time I got home from work. He did his best to keep the dust level down but when you have a house as old as mine, that is basically impossible. When I was out of town, he sent me text messages with pictures to show me the progress being made. All in all, my experience with Andre was great, I have a beautiful bathroom after some 27 years of living with a pretty ugly dysfunctional one. Every morning that I go in there I smile and admire his handiwork. Thank you Andre!

Andre's work is excellent and we are very pleased with the result. Andre is personable, conscientious and has a great sense of humor. He was prompt, came when he said he was going to come and worked until the job was completed. The cost was as estimated, he was able to respond to problems as they arose (replacing the motor of a broken fan).

We first hired Andre' 2 years ago to remodel our master bath and our den. He did an outstanding job and we knew we would eventually have him back to remodel the second bath. (See our review the first job from 6/4/08). Andre' did another excellent job on the second bath and it turned out just like we planned it and for the exact price we were quoted. Andre' is punctual and he only works one job at a time so when he's doing your work he's there everyday until the job is done. No shuttling between jobs. He is also very neat, cleaning up at the end of each day, using hepa filters when he is doing dusty work. He is meticulous in his work and insists on getting it right. He's also very pleasant to have around the house with his classical music on his small radio and his sense of humor. We were once again very pleased with Andre's work and would recommend him highly. I'm not sure what our next project will be, but we know we'll hire Andre' to do it.

Andre was easy to get in touch with and quickly scheduled an appointment to estimate our job. He arrived on time and went through the whole project process with us. I was left with the impression that Andre is a perfectionist and that he would do a great job. He does all of the work himself and really knows his stuff. For that type of contactor you would expect to pay a premium, which based upon his minimum estimate, this was confirmed. I would consider Andre a high quality / high price contractor. If cost wasn't an issue, I would hire him in a second. Unfortuately, cost is an issue, so we decided to go with another bathroom remodeling contractor. I would not hesitate to contact Andre again in the future.

Andre's professionalism and expertise is flawless. I felt secure with giving him a key to my house so that I did not have to be home during the project. He has excellent communication skills, keeping me informed of next steps throughtout the project. He is very neat and uses drop clothes to protect the floors. I would, without hesitation, use him again as well as refer him to others.

Great experience. Andre listened to what we thought we wanted done and made suggestions that ended up making us very happy (at less cost). He performed the work as he described in the estimate with great professionalism. His work ethic demonstrates true craftsmanship. He was even very patient with our inquisitive children.

Andre was efficient, polite, courteous, CLEAN, and punctual. He told us approximately how much it might cost on the initial visit, but then gave us homework to go out and select our granite, which depending on the quality, would determine the actual price. That was probably the hardest part, because they sample I picked was darker than the actual granite that was installed, even though I saw the giant sheet in the yard of the granite shop. So I was surprised that it wasn't as dark as I had remembered, but that had nothing to do with Andre's work. He picked out a sink and faucet that I loved, destroyed the old counter tops and removed it without any debris left in one day, installed counter/sink the next day so we could use our kitchen if we needed to in 2 days. The next two days were spent on the backsplash tile and that ended up being the best update I could have done to the kitchen after the counter tops. So for $5k, my kitchen looks shiny and new, without replacing cabinets or floors. He got the job done in 10 days so we could have it in place for family visiting for the holidays! Very personable, honest, reliable person--just as all the other reviews said on Angie's--why I called him first to see if he was available!
