Andre was very professional and his high ratings are well deserved. I contacted him for an estimate and he was able to meet the same day. He provided a fair assessment and helpful advise on the project as well. Prior to the installation he delivered an estimate/contract via email with insurance and licensing details. Once we scheduled the install he arrived as promised and completed the job with no fuss or mess.

I submitted my request through Angie's List and Andre called me and left a voicemail within 30 minutes. I returned his call as soon as I could. Andre told me the average cost of a bathroom renovation would be at least $16,000. I was thinking why would he provide me a quote without seeing my bathroom. He also mentioned that he had some reservations working in Philadelphia because he can never find parking space to accomodate his truck. He was polite, but I thought I wasted 30 minutes of my time just to get this bit of information.

I initially contacted Andre through e-mail, and he called back the same evening. After selecting tile and fixtures, we waited for our vanity to arrrive before he was able to start (about 3-4 weeks). Andre was punctual, reliable, pofessional and personable. He was respectful of our home, always cleaned up before leaving for the day, and was tolerant of our two large, nosy, intrusive dogs!

Andre is a hard worker and works by himself but is professional and capable of handling any problem that arose from taking out walls and removing bathroom fixtures etc. I am very happy with the new tile. It doesn't even look like anyone used the bathroom which is worth the price of remodeling. The project was completed in a week and a half.

We were slowly collecting references on local bathroom contractors for a 2nd floor bath with a slow recurrent leak, when another bathroom let loose with a torrential flood which nearly wrecked the powder-room beneath and then cascaded into the basement. Andre responded on an emergency basis to identify and shut off the correct pipe in our maze of antique plumbing. He got there more than 24 hours before our usual plumber and prevented major damage. He then provided timely, precise, and creative plans and estimates for both bathrooms; walked us patiently through the first-timer process of choosing fixtures and tile; and did a beautiful job on both baths, working within the constraints of our budget and floor plan. Despite the trauma, mess, and expense, it was a great pleasure working with him. In addition to quality work, he was able to work around a shifting population of children, visitors, and pets - in fact, he seemed to enjoy it. Although the costs did end up a bit higher than the original estimate, that was due to our evolving ideas; Andre's advice and estimates were consistently accurate.

The apartment was unoccupied, which made it easier in some respects. I picked out the tile locally, Andre paid for it and picked it up, so the cost above includes everything. The job took parts of three days and looks beautiful. I'm really glad to have the floor properly supported from underneath, which was never done when an old porch was converted to a kitchen many decades ago.

Andre is the consummate professional. He shows up on time, is honest, ethical, and a wonderful craftsman. We gave him a key to the house so he could work while we were at work and I was never concerned about his trustworthiness. He cleans up at the end of every day, uses drop clothes for the area in which he is working and his pathways throughout the house. He has lots of great suggestions if you are unsure as to what you want; he has good taste and is committed to quality products and service. We would use him again in a heartbeat.

He really went out of his way. He was prompt, meticulous, very professional. He is a master with installing tile. He is very much a perfectionist, and very wonderful to work with.

Andre does high quality work in a professional and proficient manner while striving to minimize the impact on your home. He works alone and doesn't use any sub-contractors. Andre offers good design input when prompted. In one instance our cabinet supplier sent the wrong item, Andre made alternate arrangements until the correct cabinet could be sent.

I made and appointment with Andre after locating him on Angies list. He responded within a few days, showed up promptly and gave a very good initial appraisal and an idea of what he thought needed to be done to do the job right. He directed me to several bathroom/kitchen and tile wholesale suppliers where I picked out the fixtures and tile. He emailed me an estimate for the job based on my selections and gave good feedback and alternatives where needed. Andre completed the demolition and rough-in work over Christmas holiday while we were out of town. Upon arriving home 10 days later, I found the house emaculate, furniture was covered, plastic was appropriately placed to protect from dust, the guts of the bathroom were missing but the drywall was up and 2200 lbs of debris hauled away!! Andre is very neat and careful. He worked with glass and porcelin tile, listened to my concerns and suggestions and was responsive and followed up to resolve any issues which I identified via a punch list following completion of the job. The new bath is very functional, in-keeping with the character of the house and the workmanship excellent.

They were very timely. He did what he said what he was going to do. He was always on time, and he was very clean.

Having an old house, we were dreading this project. Not knowing what was behind the walls or what problems we might encounter. However, Andre eased our minds as he was able to handle every unexpected curve ball an old house can throw at you. Andre was also mindful of our budget concerns and was able to reduce the initial estimate by suggesting that we streamline our plumbing fixtures selections (we went way overboard at the plumbing supply store), which gave us what we wanted with a more aesthetic result. We have kitchen and another bathroom remodel in our future and Andre will be the one we call.

Andre contacted me right away after I left him a message. He came out and measured for the job and gave me suggestions. He was 7 weeks away from being able to do it, but he did come and do the job at that time. The spaces were left immaculate when the work was completed.

It was a fabulous experience. We worked with Andre on the initial design; we had several plans and he helped us pick the best one. From there, he sent us to pick fixtures, tile, etc. He was extremely punctual and always kept us in the loop; not easy with both of us working. The bathroom turned out beautifully, more than we expected. It is definitely high-quality. And, the entire process was very smooth; we had some problems with the tile (because of our vendor, not his) and Andre worked through it with the vendor; we didn't need to worry at all. I was especially thrilled by how clean and neat he was. If we ever get to do our master bath, Andre will be the one we call!

We obtained 3 quotes from contractors for the work. Two of the contractors had done work for neighbors that we had inspected. The third quote was from Andre Simone, who we found through Angie's List. After we worked through all the quotes and got clarifications so that we knew we were comparing apples to apples, Andre was the least expensive (by $3000 and $10,000) over the other two contractors. We then asked Andre to let us see some of his work and to provide us with three references. We inspected a master bath he had recently completed and it was gorgeous, with excellent workmanship. The three references raved about Andre and his work and several of them had used him more than once. We hired Andre and he was able to start the job about two weeks later. The job took about 5 weeks and we absolutely love the finished work. We designed the rooms ourselves and knew what we wanted. As Andre quoted the job he had some excellent suggestions for improving our design. While we didn't take all the suggestion we took many of them and the rooms are better for having done so. Andre does all the work himself except drywall (he brings in his own subcontractor) and painting (you're on your own to find a painter and coordinate work with Andre) and he is meticulous. He is also exceptionally neat in his work so that dust was kept to a minimum as were disruptions to our family's daily routine. During the job we initiated several change orders and in each instance Andre priced it out before he did the extra work and didn't do the work until we had agreed. In the end the work came in at exactly the price Andre quoted, plus the change orders we had approved. Upon the completion of the work, the rooms came out just as we had envisioned them and we are now enjoying the rooms. Throughout the job Andre was a pleasure to deal with, always respectful of our wishes, helpful with his suggestions and exacting with the quality of the work. We plan to do another bathroom next year and Andre will definitely do the work for us.

Andre Simone came to my home on time, and said that he was not able to do the job.

It went well from start to finish. Andre was very responsive. Every single time I called him I got him on the phone! No answering machine, no callbacks, no 2nd in command taking a message. I called him on a weekday evening. He agreed to come the next day, and was there at the appointed time. He estimated the sauna job and gave us a written quote for the job within 6 days. We ordered the sauna kit, and wanted him to start as soon as possible. We signed the proposal a week before Christmas and had the job finished the by new years, except for the installation of the sauna heater that was not shipped by the sauna manufacturer (not Andre's fault). We have been enjoying the sauna all of this month (it's the end of January). It is a beautiful piece of carpentry. Andre works on his own, but he does get other contractors to sub for him (electrical), I would recommend him highly. The final cost was $600 more than the estimate, mostly because Andre had to come back to install the heater.

Andre did a fantastic job!!! We don't know what we would have done without him, as two of our remodeling situations needed immediate attention. He is a superior craftsman and you could see it in his work. He always came when he said he would and was on schedule with every project. Andre always called to let us know his schedule for the job. He was very particular with his work and always kept the area clean. He was also very easy to work with both in preparing the project and estimate and during the renovations. He is a very pleasant person and it was a pleasure having him work in our home. We are very lucky to have had him recommended to us. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend him to anyone for a kitchen or bath project. We have been so very happy with what he has done for us.

Andre was incredibly responsive to all of our needs. He promptly came to view the space, gave us an estimate and quickly returned any phone calls. He was easy to work with, overcame any obstacles and had great design ideas for a difficult space. He was very neat and courteous of our home and our space. The bathroom is beautiful and are hoping to do the kids bathroom soon!

Relationships and character are important to me. We established both which allowed me to feel comfortable leaving him alone in my home. Secondly attention to detail is important to me. The powder room tile work convinced that I hired the right guy. Straight grout lines and laying of tiles was just great. Andre has a good eye and takes is time to get it right. The Master Bath truly exceeded my expectations and I enjoy the praise I get when others view the finished product(s). From the shower install and tile-work to the granite work, everything was meticulously done. It is a Master Bath and then some. In addition to his attention to detail, Andre was on prompt on arrivals and completed the job within reasonable and expected time frames. He also has a good rapport with the plumbing supply store I choose and that was helpful as well. Andre will be the contractor for my final bathroom which is scheduled to get underway in early October 2007.
