Eric did an excellent job finding us just the right home. We went on several house hunting trips, and Eric was really flexible about when we could go. He also had several contacts for mortgage lenders, home inspectors, and contractors for inspection finding quotes. He has opinions about houses that are insightful and that he's willing to share, but he has good perception about not pushing his opinion if you feel differently. All in all, it was a pleasure to work with Eric, and I'd definitely do so again in the future.

It is with so much pleasure and gratitude that we are happy to share our comments about our experience with Eric & Kathy selling our home. We have bought and sold several houses over the years but have never encountered this level of professionalism and expertise. The experience at each phase of the selling process superior, such as innovative efforts in developing prospects, useful insights on pre-listing renovations/staging, effective showings and proactive facilitation during the sale negotiations/due diligence. All of these tasks, whether business-related or interpersonal, were accomplished with a noticeable degree of competence, humility, integrity and grace. This was our second time buying a home, but we did not have the best realtor the first time around. We did our homework this time, and all reviews pointed to Eric and Kathy. During our first meeting, they helped us with a strategy list of items to improve the house we were listing, and helped us to come up with a plan for finding a new house. We were given the names of excellent professionals to help us accomplish what needed to be done. They did not steer us wrong. The relationships that Eric and Kathy have built with contractors, etc. benefit their clients. Selling your house is stressful enough, you don't want to have to worry about those you are hiring to do the work! We followed their advice on tasks on the old house. That, along with Eric's amazing photos and their strategy for listing/showing our home were a recipe for a quick sale! We ended up with THREE offers above asking price on the first day of showings! What a relief! As for buying a house, Kathy's knowledge of mortgages and numbers helped us to figure out exactly what we could afford. We were also very appreciative of Eric's observations during showings. He was able to point out potential issues or things that we should think about that we would not have noticed. He was not merely trying to sell us on a house quickly, he was determined to help us to find the house that was perfect for our family. And he did. When there ended up being another offer on the house we wanted, Eric and Kathy gave great advice that I am confident allowed us to purchase our new home without going too over budget. I whole heartedly recommend Eric and Kathy for buying and selling your home.

Kathy Haggerty and Eric Nichols helped us from the beginning because we needed to get a lot of things done to get the house ready to sell. They recommended contractors for painting rooms and repairing things as well as landscapers too. We know that they did a lot of extra work because we moved out of state and had no one locally to check on things but them. They staged the house and had professional photos taken that made the house look very very nice on all of the real estate websites. As a first time home buyer the process of purchasing a home can be extremely overwhelming. I was lucky to find Eric and Kathy. They were both professional and knowledgeable. I felt that they were in my corner the entire time and had my best interest in mind. I love my new house and I have them to thank for it! If I ever do move again they will be the first ones on my list to call to sell my home!

When my wife and I decided that we wanted to buy our home, we searched one of the local websites and found Eric and Kathy. We called them and spoke with Kathy. First, she asked us several questions that would help them to find a home that we would love and to refer us to a lender that would give us a loan to buy our home. We met with Eric and Kathy together to go over what we were looking for in our new home. Then we talked about where we would prefer to live - and there were 3 or 4 neighborhoods. We had to call a mortgage lender to find out what our price range would be that we would qualify. This led us to discuss what kinds of different financing would be available to us. As a Veteran, they showed us the advantages of VA financing versus FHA and conventional. We were amazed - all of our friends thought that FHA financing was better and cheaper - clearly their knowledge and experience showed us how much more of an advantage VA Financing would be. We started looking at homes the next day. They saved us from buying a home that we really liked by pointing out something only the experienced agent would know could become a money pit. Finally, a few weeks later, we found the home that was just right for us! They negotiated a great price and we were happy. The inspections process was handled so well with Eric and Kathy; the sellers fixed everything on our list of important items and even a little more. Next came the loan application. We worked with Welcome Home Finance's Mark Ostrowski. He got us a great rate (VA) and the experience went without any complications. Kathy and Eric kept us informed and they made sure all was well. The process of selling the house went very well. We have young kids as well as a dog so it was a real job getting the house ready to show to buyers. However, Kathy and Eric made it as easy as it could be. They gave us good advise on how to get the house ready before it was on the market and good advise on how to show it best. The price research they did seemed spot on so that we were able to get a good contract price in a pretty short time on the market. Eric and Kathy were very professional during the entire process of selling our home and assisting with the purchase of our new home too. They were knowledgeable and responsive which gave us a lot of confidence that things would be done correctly. Kathy's detailed knowledge of the mortgage lending was invaluable when questions came up about the buyer's mortgage loan. It was very nice having a two person team available when we needed something or had questions. We are already planing to work with them in the near future with my Mom's house too. Eric and Kathy are absolutely outstanding real estate agents in my opinion (and I have worked with many!). They did a great job when I moved to Pittsburgh so I didn't hesitate at all to call them when I needed to sell too. I had to travel to my new city so quickly that I actually just dropped a key in the mailbox for them and called them to list the house as I was driving out of town!!! They coordinated almost everything. Met with my friends to coordinate packing, grass cutting and de-cluttering. Then they recommended a cleaning company and also coordinated with them. The house was on the market fast and with super photos too (made the house look awesome!). I was kept updated with feedback from all the showings every time the house was shown too. They are THE BEST. Could not ask for better real estate agents. Knowledgeable, responsive, now their market.... and they know internet marketing for real estate better than any other agents that we interviewed. Eric and Kathy were outstanding in getting the house on the market and showing it beautifully in photos. We had 15 or so showings in the first two weeks, 3 bids, and sold the house for full price. Everything went smoothly on their end and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Kathy and Eric are an amazing team, and their skills greatly complement each other throughout both the buying and selling process. We also found them to be very pleasant people to work with. When we started working with them, Kathy used her experience in home lending to guide us in pricing a new home, while Eric looked around our existing home to identify easy upgrades that would help with selling; we then all discussed features we would like in our new home so that they could make recommendations. We then started looking at houses with them. They were very responsive to our needs, finding us houses that met the criteria we had outlined. More than once, they recommended one that we had already been looking at on our own, while other times they brought up ones we hadn't noticed but that were a good match, and we never once felt like they were trying to push anything that didn't really fit us. When visiting each house, Eric used his keen eye to detect both mechanical and aesthetic problems, while Kathy excelled at interpreting aspects of both listings and decor to advise us on what types of sellers we were dealing with and what that would mean for us as buyers. Once we had found a house and made an offer, Eric was skilled and aggressive at negotiating--more aggressive than we had expected, but he got us a better price than we were planning to pay, so we can't complain too much! Kathy helped us with finding a lender who was great to work with, and they both accompanied us to the closing. On the selling front, once we had done much of the recommended work (Eric even had a specific paint color to recommend, and sure enough, it looked great), Eric and Kathy each worked up their own set of comps to advise us on pricing. Eric's degree in photography was evident as he staged and photographed our house, and the resulting pictures in the listing looked great--we had three people make appointments the day the listing went up. By the end of the week we had two great offers, one of which we took. Kathy and Eric continued to be very helpful as we negotiated final points (such as a problem that showed up in the inspection) and all the way through closing. During all parts of both the buying and selling process, Kathy Haggerty and Eric Nichols were skilled, professional, and personable, and we strongly recommend them to anybody buying or selling a home.

First of all let me say that this review for them is Long over due because of moving, opening our business, kids and just everything...... but we are finally glad to take the time to enter this review. We are just so glad to have found Eric and Kathy on Angie's List. They did such a great job for us that we scarcely know where to begin. First, they gave us excellent advice about preparing the house for selling. They went room by room and made good recommendations to help us put the best foot forward so to speak. Some repairs needed to be done also so they pointed us in the right direction for that as well. It was obvious to us from the start that they really knew what they were talking about! The preparation took time and we had to often seek their advice. Even so, they never rushed us and never made us feel like we were asking silly questions. When we were finally ready, Eric came over and spent a lot of time carefully photographing the house. The photos that they listed the house with were absolutely fantastic! The listing went everywhere online and there is no doubt why buyers wanted to come see it in person. Eric and Kathy stressed to us from the start how important the photos are to the marketing of houses today. We believe that is absolutely true and we saw the results first hand. The photos for our listing looked better than the vast majority of other listings that we have ever seen online. Long story short... we received three offers within the first week of marketing. We found ourselves on the selling side of a Bidding War! Eric and Kathy carefully guided us through the complexities of each offer. We felt like we were in very experienced hands through all of this. Kathy's direct experience with mortgages proved invaluable during this process. We ultimately sold the house substantially above the list price!!! We recently relocated to the Pittsburgh area from Eastern Pa. We chose to work with Eric Nichols and Kathy Haggerty at Keller Williams because of all their great reviews on Angie?s List. All those great reviews are certainly well deserved! We had extremely limited time to visit Pittsburgh to look for a house. Their knowledge of the area and the schools was invaluable. They began sending us information and helping us over the phone long before we even arrived and officially decided to go with them. Eric is also a professional photographer. He was able to digitally enhance the photos of the house that we were selling in Bucks County to make them look much better too! These two really compliment each other when it comes to the details of marketing and selling a house. I would like to say that buying a home is easy and that any realtor will do. But that is clearly not the case. Oh don't get me wrong, you can find a lot of realtors out there and they will be more then willing to sell you a house. After all that is their job. However my husband I weren't looking just for a house, we were looking for a home. We had a two story home and as anyone knows once your knees start to give you a problem, then the stairs are no longer something that you want to deal with on a daily bases. So after 36 years and a lot of encouragement from our sons we made the decision to look into moving to a ranch or one story house. Thank heaven for Angies List. Things have changed a lot since we had purchased our home and we were rather clueless as to how to go about finding someone that we felt confident in to help us in our search. Believe me there is a reason why Kathy and Eric have such a high rating and so many people have written reviews about them. They are without a doubt simply the best. When you are looking for a home you want someone who is knowledgeable, someone who gives you confidence, someone who will not only point out the good qualities of a house but also the bad. You want to be able to send an email or pick up the phone and get a response ASAP because buying a house is one of the most important things that you will ever do. And above all else you want someone that you can trust. And when it comes time to actually make the purchase you want a realtor who will walk you though the process someone who will explain every single part of the long paper trail no matter how extensive it is. And you want someone who will let you know what to do and what not to do in the time before you sign those final papers. Yes, all that I have written is something that any realtor should do because that is their job.. But helping you find a home is not just a job to Kathy and Eric, they actually take it personally. They really care about you and about you finding that special place to call home. The day we closed on our new home was as exciting for Kathy and Eric as it was for my husband and myself. I do not think of them as our realtors as much as I think of them as friends who care. Because they did not just sell us a house.. they helped us find a home. I moved to Florida last April and was planning to also keep my home in PA. In September of 2013 I decided to sell my home in PA. I went to Angie's List to look for a realtor. I read the reviews on Eric and Kathy,so I contacted them. Right from the very first meeting with them I knew I made the right choice. There should more stars available because I would certainly give them more. They both were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and just wonderful to me. I know they are very busy but they always made me feel like I was important to them. I could not have made a better choice. Oh by the way THEY SOLD MY HOUSE.

I'll start with getting ready to sell our first house. Eric and Kathy came over for our initial meeting for I what I figured would be a quick meet and greet and some paper work. I was pleasantly surprised when they ending up spending several hours with us going over the selling process and doing a top to bottom vision inspection of the house inside and out. Based on their experience they were able to help us stage the house to get it ready for sale. After a few weeks of hard work, we were ready to list. Eric then spent another couple of hours taking professional pictures and preparing us for the actual listing. All of the advice and hard work paid off as we received several showings within days and had an offer that we accepted after only a week. I never imagined we would sell that fast! Of course, now we were on to the fun part of finding a new house. Here again, Eric and Kathy were awesome. We told them what we were looking for and even though we changed our requirements several times, they were able to get us a number of possibilities lined up for a day of showing. Nothing really excited us on that first day, but Eric and Kathy were not discouraged. They continued to stay in contact and work with us to make sure we wouldn't end up homeless. Eventually we found a great place that I am happy to say we are currently living in and were able to close on the purchase the same day as our sale. The entire process was stressful to be sure, but working with Eric and Kathy made things so much more bearable (and even at times fun). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.

I had previously had a bad experience with another real estate agent who really provided poor advice and didn't really seem to have my best interest at heart. Then, I found Eric and Kathy to pursue my home purchase. The experience with them was like night and day! They gave me all of the information that I needed every step of the way.
