He was excellent. The experience was very, very good. He was just absolutely dependable. He was on time and did the work. He said it would take a week and it took a week. The workers were there when they were supposed to be and they cleaned up when they were finished. He gave us a couple of different levels of work to choose from, with a minimum of keeping the basement dry, but saving us money.

Their prices were competitive compared to other organizations I looked at. I liked their guarantee they offered me. They showed up on time and did what they had to do. I haven't had the slightest problem with their work.

For the past ten years, whenever it rained a lot, I got an quite a bit of water through the conduit where the water line came into the house. I put a container under the pipe to catch the water. I finally called 2 waterproofing contractors for an estimate. One said it was too small of a job and the other said my French drain was broken and they would have to dig it up. I found Mr. Fountains name in Angie's List and I called him. He was on his way home but turned around and was at my house in 15 minutes to look at the problem. He said he could plug the conduit and that would hopefully solve the problem. He came back a week later to plug the leak. It seemed to work because we had all that rain a few weeks ago and I did not have a water leak.

Rick Fountain walked around the "wet" spot for awhile and said it couldn't be an underground spring because the water would come up through the places easiest to access, little cracks and faults in the cement of a 100-year-old house. The wet spot was on a flawless patch of concrete. Finally, he spied a large container of a product designed to melt sidewalk ice. "What's that," he said, sounding a bit like a detective. Indeed, the container had split and was both leaking and the calcium in it was drawing moisture out of the surrounding concrete. I threw the leaking, and therefore useless, product away and that was the end of it. No charge.

They were exceptional! They were on time, they responded to my call promptly. It was three days worth of work and we were never disturbed upstairs. I found their pricing was very reasonable.

Rick was the fifth person I received an estimate from and I was very impressed with what he had to say and his professionalism. He started the job right away and I was so pleased with their work. His price was very reasonable. The crew was polite and hard working. When the work was done they left the work area very clean. They were prompt and did exactly what they proposed. I would recommend Rick and his company to everyone. He is a very nice man and was great at communication. I always knew what was going on. I would definitely hire them again and have only good things to say about my experience with them.

Working with Rick was a real pleasure. He was on time, efficient and convivial. Work was done promptly.

We got three other estimates. They all recommended a much much higher level of work than Rick. He dug only an area of about 12"x12" instead of recommending a whole inside French drain system. The basement has remained dry since his two jobs to waterproof the one area. He also did a third smaller job on the outside to correct a missing section of concrete trim around a large greenhouse window. No extra charge.

They were helpful and neat, and cleaned everything up. I left my 86 yr old mother alone in the home with them without a second thought. Rick found a way to do the job for half the cost of doing it from the outside. We have glazed tile block but no foundation, and if they'd done it from the outside we would've had a real problem. The crew has been very respectful of everything, which I really appreciate.

RICK IS A CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL, AND HIS CREW'S WORK WAS OUTSTANDING. HE AND HIS CREW ARE ALL VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE, AND VERY CONSCIENTIOUS. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, WORKED WELL PAST DUSK AND PUT IN AN ALMOST 12-HOUR DAY. THEY ARE CLEARLY INTERESTED IN DOING THE JOB ONLY THE RIGHT WAY, NOT CUTTING CORNERS, AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO INSPECT WATERFLOW AND DRAINAGE SIMPLY TO PROVIDE US WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED, AND FEEL THAT WE HAVE GOTTEN AN EXCELLENT VALUE FOR OUR MONEY.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. WE WERE RECOMMENDED TO RICK BY A HOME INSPECTOR (THREE RIVERS INSPECTION) AS AN OUTSTANDING WATERPROOFING CONTRACTOR AND A GOOD GUY TO WORK WITH, AND HE SURELY IS. WHEN HE CAME TO ANALYZE OUR WATERPROOFING PROBLEMS, RICK NOTED THAT ONE OF TWO SUMP PUMPS IN THE BASEMENT OF THE HOUSE WE JUST PURCHASED WAS NOT FUNCTIONING. HE OFFERED TO INSTALL A USED PUMP FOR US FOR $50 TO AVOID BACKUP OF THE STANDING WATER IN THE NON-FUNCTIONAL PUMP INTO OUR BASEMENT, WHICH HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO. (HE ALSO GAVE US THE OPTION OF INSTALLING A NEW PUMP FOR $200.) HE CAME AND INSTALLED THE PUMP HIMSELF, SPENT ALMOST TWO HOURS ON THE JOB, ALL FOR ONLY $50 -- WHICH IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT LED US TO HIRE HIM TO PERFORM THE INSTALLATION OF A FRENCH DRAIN SYSTEM OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. RICK WAS VERY THOUGHTFUL AND COURTEOUS, EVEN CALLED TO REMIND US TO CHECK THE BASEMENT FOR WATER WHEN WE HAD A HARD RAIN THE WEEKEND BEFORE THE PUMP WAS INSTALLED. PROMPT, COURTEOUS, CLEANED UP WHEN WORK WAS DONE.
