The move went great. Nothing was broken, and the moving crew was very professional and friendly. The guys really worked hard through some really lousy weather (rainy, hot and humid). It was the first time I've ever used professional movers and after this experience I'd never do it myself again. It took slightly longer than anticpated due to the amount of stuff we had. They had to readjust some stuff in the truck to fit everything in, but they got it all in.

Actually they were good to deal with. The problem was their price was 20 to 25% higher than their estimate. All other aspects of their handling of the move were good. Update: I had mentioned that the price was 20 to 25% higher than quoted. That is not correct. It was 12%. As far as the quality, we were very satisfied. We had 1 item that was broken and they completely paid for the breakage. They were prompt. We didn?t have to badger them into performance.

Loading went very well, quick and employees were very careful with my furnishings and boxes. Unload was adverse weather and went very well considering new construction and snow.. I would recommend this company for local or long distance moves and storage. Very pleased with the services I received from the moving crew.

Lisa from All Ways came to our house to review all the items we wanted moved and to go over all the details. She was on time and very pleasant to deal with. We had a couple extremely heavy items which were of concern. She reviewed these items with a higher up and got back to me the same day with answers. She was able to schedule the move for the exact day we requested. They went the extra effort to put on a 5-man crew to help with the heavy items I mentioned before. The crew arrived promptly on our scheduled day. Every man went through the house with me to discuss the items we wanted moved, etc. This crew was amazing! Not once did I hear one of them complain about anything. They had a BIG job in front of them and they worked carefully, diligently and rather quickly. I honestly do not have one complaint against any of them. They were very pleasant to deal with and would do anything you asked of them. A job VERY WELL DONE by All Ways Moving!

The truck arrived promptly. All three members of the crew were polite and friendly. They packed the items from my storage unit quickly, carefully and efficiently. When unpacking at my new home they asked frequently questions about where the items should be placed. At the conclusion of the move, the head crewman asked if there was anything else he could help me with. This is the third time I have used this company and I have been satisfied with all three encounters.

From the time I made the intial contact with All Ways to the day after the move I could have not ask for a smoother deal. It is refreshing to know that this company was very respnsive to my needs on a short term notice. The moving crew were respectful and cautious of our brand new home we moved into. Kim followed up the next day with a phone call to see if we had any concerns which pretty much sealed the deal that I would use them again. Thanks Al and the whole crew for taking the stress out of moving day.

Overall, they did a good job with the move. One antique clock was damaged, but that was the only thing. They sent a crew of 3-4 guys and assisted with packing high value items, loaded the truck, and moved our belongings. The truck showed up on time and they assisted with the unload into a storage facility.

They did a free in home estimate. Al was very professional. He asked a lot of questions about what was being moved to give me the best possible estimate. The day of the move, I had a crew of 4 guys. They did a great job. I have not found anything broken. They were very nice about asking where I wanted each piece of furniture in the new house. At the end, the crew leader walked the house with me, offering to move any furniture I wanted to put elsewhere. I paid to have 2 big screen tv's moved. They were packed in special crates. I was very happy with the way they moved the tv's.

Lisa was our contact with All Ways for the move. She arrived on time to give us the estimate. She was professional and very courteous and kept in contact during the pre-move steps. Her weight estimate was near perfect. The cost came in a little less than the estimate. Andy, Steve, Jack and Ryan were our movers in Canonsburg. Andy(driver) told us he would be there at 9:00 in the morning and that's when they arrived. They moved the furniture and boxes of our 3 bedroom home into the truck and were done by 4:00. We can't say enough about their respectful manners. Andy and Steve unpacked in Orlando. Again they arrived within minutes of the expected time. I would highly recommend All Ways.

I needed two rooms of furniture moved to my basement as I was having floors refinished. Although they couldn't accomodate me, they were kind enough to give me the names of 3 other movers, one of which I hired. All 3 of which were highly rated on Angie's List. I was grateful for their help, as I needed to get the furniture moved out in a hurry.

2 trucks and 5 guys showed up early, before scheduled time, and immediately they went to work. It was raining when they arrived so they cover everything as they carried to the truck, even the piano. Once they got to our new home work continued very smoothly without any damage to the home or furniture. They did exactly as they said and the cost was as quoted and no hidden surprises. They are to be highly commended and recommended.

The team of 4 arrived at 8:30 a.m., right in the middle of the 8-9 a.m. window I was provided the day before. When the four young men arrived ( very young and not the 'more senior' aged people I was expecting based on Al's description - if any of them were over 30 I would be shocked), each was very pleasant. After I walked them through the house and garage to show what went and what stayed, one commented that there were few small (boxed) items, and he seemed relieved. I was somewhat shocked to see that one of the young men was walking with a bit of a limp - not a physical handicap but perhaps an injury that caused him to take steps one at a time. Before they began packing, I thought, "Does this team have all the experience Al mentioned? And why would they send me a crew member who can't move as fast and must take steps one at a time?" My initial thoughts aside, I watched as they packed the truck - within 4 hours they had my 3 bedroom home packed. As I packed items in my own car during the same 4 hours, I didn't see quite the speed I was expecting from the 4 young men - especially given their younger age and Al's description of what I thought to be a 'top notch' team. At 50 years of age, I seemed to have more spring in my step than they. They followed me the 13 miles to my new home, and as they began to unload, that same relaxed pace was witnessed by a friend who was at my new home watching over my pets. Without prompting her, she commented that they seemed to be taking their good old time; she's seen men in their 60's move people's homes faster than this set of young men. I thought I would give Al a call to let him know that I was a bit disappointed - he advertised a careful and experienced crew, yet I got what I felt was a set of kids who didn't have a ton of respect for my time, my money, or my belongings. Al indicated that because he was in sales, my concerns would be better suited for the operations people, and that he would call the office to let them know I wasn't happy. Since there were still many of my belongings left to unload, I specifically told Al that I didn't want him to make the call then, while the team was still unloading me, and I especially didn't want the office to call the crew lead (John) while they were there. I reiterated to Al that I felt I was doing him a service by providing my feedback and was pleased at how calm I remained during that call - and would provide my feedback to the operations team after my move was complete. Within 15 minutes, John (crew lead) approached me and said "The office just called and said you think we're moving too slow. I don't think we're moving too slow." So, thanks, Al, for honoring my request! (NOT!) The reason I didn't want the crew contacted was because I didn't want the attitude that John copped in that statement! I told John flat out that I've moved many times and have never had a crew that seemed to be taking as much time as they were. John told me they would be taking the 'break time' off the bill, and seemed to lighten up a bit and want to 'make things right' as he said. I called Al back and this time I was not quite as calm as I was before - why did he go against what I asked (call the office and the office call the crew)? Al said that if the crew didn't know I wasn't happy, they couldn't resolve the problem. When I told Al that I would call the office to let them know I wasn't so pleased with THEIR behavior, he said "Oh I wouldn't call the office - that won't help anything." He told me I'm the only one that has ever complained about this team being slow, and that the office wouldn't appreciate it if I told them I wasn't happy. My question to Al was, "Are you telling me that a company that has been in existence for 100 years doesn't want feedback from a customer, even if it's BAD news?" At that point I was tired of his responses that were doing me no good, so I told him I would be hanging up on him - and I did. In regard to the crew after their call from the office, however, I still noted all of these things that display what I perceived to be nothing more than lack of respect for my time, my money and my belongings: -one of my wooden outdoor bench legs was broken; Andy (I think was his name) told me he broke it when he picked it up -the 'fold' feature on my treadmill (you push a button that engages a motor that folds the base of the treadmill up toward the control panel, allowing you to have more space) no longer worked after John put the treadmill back together after the move (the previous movers got it into my basement in one piece, yet John took it apart to get it out). He thought that moisture was the cause, but it worked just fine when I used the same button the evening before to get it into a folded position. -when one of the crew dropped the steel frame to my bed on the hardwood living room floor, it left a nice dent -the bowl to my fire pit was missing when we arrived at the new house. I happened to find it TODAY (13 days later) at the old house. When the crew member was getting my outdoor furniture from my back yard, he apparently tossed it over the fence from the back yard into my landscaped front yard, likely thinking he would pick it up and pack it in the truck when he came around to the front of the house. Not only did he toss it over a fence (is this guy a FedEx delivery man in his spare time?) and not pack it on the truck, it landed on my lilac bush. Needless to say, 13 days later with the fire pit bowl sitting on it, my lilac bush is in bad shape. However, I'm happy and alleviated to have found the important piece to the fire pit! -one of the crew stayed in the truck and folded mats while the other three unloaded the truck at the new house; this happens to be the same guy who took steps one at a time. Could he not have done that back at the warehouse? Or if he was on 'light duty' could they not have sent someone who could be that 4th man I paid for? -one of my mattresses was soaked upon arrival. It was not that way when it was in my original location, and John (crew lead) smelled it when I brought it to his attention. I told him the bed has not been touched or slept in, in well over 6 months, so his reaction to smell it as though I was the one to soil it was a disrespectful slap in the face. And of course no reason, or cause for how or why they happened to get it soaked in their possession, was given. -they left the very heavy gas grill sitting in the grass rather than move it to the patio; I broke a caster off trying to drag it myself to the position where it should have been - had they ASKED. -they left all the boxes that they did transport in the garage that's on the basement level - all the heavy boxes of books that I purposely DIDN'T take myself because they were too heavy. -they didn't ask where anything other than the obvious pieces went at the destination - and aside from the books left in the garage, a large majority of other items were left there as well. -they had the estimate sheet that showed the job would take 8 hours - and by God they were going to take up that entire 8 hours. Why did I spend the previous two weeks to the move shuttling car loads of boxes to the new house to save them time and myself money, if they moved just as leisurely to eat up that entire 8 hours? With the way the day went, the last thing I wanted was to was spend the excess time filling out claim forms for the damaged or missing items; I wanted nothing more than to see the tail lights of that truck moving far away from my sight. And even though I wasn't 110% pleased, I know how physically difficult their jobs are (let alone having to deal with a 50 year old woman who expected top-notch service if I'm forking out $150/hour) - and I still tipped them. I gave John money to give each of his crew $30/each, and gave $40 to him. I felt their work ethic left much to be desired, but I wanted to show that I appreciated that they were done and got me to my destination. In the time since my move, I received no follow-up call from Al, and nothing from the operations team. With the stress of my move and my best attempt to get this bad experience and encounter out of my life, I've withheld from posting a review until today. Had I not found that fire pit bowl sitting (crumpling) my lilac bush today, All-Ways Moving may have slipped past without my comments. My move is over, and I can't kick myself anymore for picking All-Ways over George Moving or Vesely Brothers Moving. However, I continue to be saddened and disappointed at my decision to go with All-Ways, and saddened and disappointed at the way Al (and their office folks) handled the situation. And finally, shame on you, Al, for bad-mouthing your competitors the day we met for my estimate. If George Moving is reading this, Al referred to your team as "weird". Perhaps "weird" outweighs "lacking in customer respect" that I felt from you and All-Ways Moving. Update on 9/6/13: Kimberly (co-owner at All-Ways) called me to discuss my move; she was unaware of any of the issues I had the day of my move. After providing her very sincere apology, we discussed the things that happened the day of my move. In all fairness to her, had I not been so overwhelmed with the stress of the move and the situation that day, I would have called and asked to speak to her about it; at the time I felt it best that I keep my anger to myself. I'm happy we had the conversation 2 weeks later when it was not as fresh of a 'scar' for me. Her offers to provide monetary compensation for some of the damaged items or a reduced rate for the one injured crew member are greatly appreciated. It's evident my disappointment was in turn hers, and I respect and am grateful she wanted to make things right for me. The grades I provided were a reflection of the crew's performance and my sales rep, certainly not of Kimberly or the company she runs.
Description of Work: Al provided an on-site estimate, and was the reason I selected All-Ways over two other local movers whose prices were lower than the same duration estimate Al provided. Al was the ultimate salesman - interacted with my pets, had a personality far better than the sales rep from a competitor, told me my mattresses and furniture would be wrapped, and that I would have a team of 4 men who were rated on a higher level (apparently they have 'gold', 'silver', etc. teams). Al reminded me that I could save myself money if I were to move some of the boxed or smaller items myself, but still provided an 8 hour estimate if I did not have the opportunity to do that prior to my move.

Lisa Lukanski-Dorazio, the Relocation Specialist at All Ways Moving & Storage, did an excellent job for us. She was professiional, took her time and was able to answer all our questions. Her quote was very close to the actual cost. She provided many used boxes and kept in touch during the whole process. The driver, Andy, and his crew did a great job loading our furniture. They were efficient and organized. The timeframe for delivery was what they quoted. The unloading at our destination was also done efficiently. I would recommend this organization.

All Ways Movers made the move easy and fairly stress free. They wrapped everything that was breakable and took their time to make sure it was done correctly. They placed all items on the truck with great care and everything came off the truck without any problems. The movers worked hard and were very courteous. Their sales representative, Lisa, was extremely knowledgeable and very accessible. She answered all my concerns with patience.

They were fantastic. They did no damage. They were extremely consciencious and moved extremely heavy furnature through very small spaces with no damage to the houses or the furnature. They came to me and told me about a scratch in a piece of furnature but I told them it was already there. They placed everything where it was supposed to be and moved pieces from one place to another when I made the mistake. They never compplained and were extremely pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them.

The movers arrived as promised and quickly completed the move. I was not present, my son was. After I received the paperwork, there was a discrepancy that involved boxes not appearing on the inventory and an overcharge on materials because I had supplied the packing containers. Their response to my inquiry regarding the discrepancies was quick and thorough. They kept me informed as they investigated the issues and resolved them to my complete satisfaction. This is my second year for using them, and I could not be more pleased with them.

This was one of three companies that I contacted and the first one to reply. The office staff was very informative and friendly. Everyone I dealt with in this company was courteous. The men they sent to handle my small move were terrific. They were extremely careful with the antiques I had and completed my move expeditiously. It seemed as though there was nothing they wouldn't do to ensure my move was done to my expectations. Again, office staff followed up to make sure all went well. I would definitely use this company again.
