All Ways Moving & Storage

All in all it was a good experience. We moved the day of our closing on the house. They were very punctual which made everything run so smoothly. A few bumps and nicks on furniture and dirtied our mattress but nothing too bad. We were offered free garment boxes which was great - be careful and inspect before you pick them up - some of ours smelled like smoke. Coming from a smoke free home, this was a little off putting. The team of movers were great - very respectful. I was worried about leaving since we had our closing and running back and forth, but the guys worked steadily and finished up early.

All Ways did an outstanding job. The company was able to meet our tight scheduling needs with professionalism and genuine helpfulness. Everyone that we dealt with, from the first phone call through estimate and then the move was friendly and approachable. The guys were very respectful of our need to be neat and clean, especially in the new house. Also we have a number of expensive and heavy pieces of furniture and they were handled with great care. We had a lot of heavy stuff that needed to be moved from one basement to the other and this was handled with efficiency and good cheer. I would definitely use All Ways again and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

All Ways was the first company to respond to my request for an estimate and the easiest to schedule for the estimate. I was impressed right from the start with their promptness and professionalism, so I booked them for both packing and moving services. I was so impressed with the packing and moving guys. The packing was meticulous (box labeling could have been a bit more thorough/detailed). I didn't have time to fully organize my stuff and purge all my junk before moving, so all that mess came with me. And by gosh, even the most useless items were carefully wrapped and boxed like prized possessions. Even though it was a local move (probably not even 10 miles away), they packed me with the same care as if I was going to another state. The move day itself (day after packing) went very smoothly. Again, even though this was a short trip down the road, they packed the truck as carefully as if my stuff was was going long-distance. And the stamina of those guys! Local moves must be such a tough day - load up the truck and then turn around and unload only an hour or so later. They asked if they could stop for lunch before bringing the truck over to the new place and starting to unload. Um, YES. Please eat, guys. Best of all, the total cost came in WAY below the estimate. Under $2,000 for full packing and moving? Worth every single penny.

Always moving went up to Upper Michigan to pick up my stuff. They showed up loaded me up at two locations and took great care of my items until they delivered it.

Once again All Ways delivered in a big way. They loaded and packed 4 storage buildings into 2 trucks and completed the entire move in one day. The workers were great, especially Nate who maintained a very positive attitude the entire day despite a very grueling move. Another worker had a broken finger from a previous move but still worked hard the entire day. Excellent service once again for our 3rd move with them. A+

Lisa was very nice and knowledgable and really accurate on her estimate. They kept me informed at every stage of the move. They packed out my house in a day and were very careful. The driver and his help were nice and respectful and made sure to handle my stuff with care. I definitely recommend you give these folks a chance to help you with your next move!

The move was an inclusive all pack move and this company made an otherwise difficult situation as painless as possible. The movers and packers were great and sensitive as well as efficient. I would Highly recommend them to anyone.

This was my third move in which I used All Ways Moving. The guys arrived on time, but seemed like they started out really slow in moving things. I was a little upset that it took same amount of time as my last move, even though this time I moved most all my boxes on my own. They claimed it was due to weather, but last year's weather wasn't any better. I attribute the difference in service partially because one of the guys was new employee and didn't seem to know really what he was doing. Another thing I wasn't too happy with was that I had asked to have certain furniture pieces covered due to rain, but they didn't cover them. The weather was cold and rained at times, so I understand that factor. Last year it was very cold and snowed so not much difference. The guys were careful moving my furniture and also very careful to make sure my carpet didn't get dirty along with my freshly painted walls. I do appreciate that. Overall there were few things that could have been better but my furniture got to my new location in good condition so I am glad for that. I would definitely use this company again. The people are friendly and do try to do a good job. Thanks again.

I hired All Ways Moving to move all my household contents from Whitehall, PA to Venetia, PA. Al was on time the day he came out to give the estimate and called after the move to check on how things went. They sent four men and a large truck at 8:30am (right in the middle of the timeframe they quoted me). All the guys were polite, professional and careful with my belongings. They did everything I asked of them. I have some very heavy pieces and they did not complain. I also hired them to pack several pieces of artwork that are large and valuable. They even helped move some things into a storage POD, which they really didn't have to do but seeing that I am a single mom, they seemed glad to help. The original arrangement was to store my belongings overnight on the delivery truck since I was not closing on my new house until the next day. I was surprised that the charge for overnight storage was only $100! I expected it to be much higher. Well, the day before the move at 4:50pm, my mortgage company called me and said that there had been an error processing my paperwork and that the closing on my new house would have to be delayed two weeks! I panicked. Too late to call storage facilities, where would myself, my daughter and our five pets stay??? I started calling places at 9am the day of the move and was striking out, as no one has large units available this time of year. One of the moving guys overheard my phone calls and suggested I call All Ways offices and tell them my situation. I called Tim at the office and after a few minutes he called me back and offered to keep everything on the truck in their warehouse for up to two weeks for $50 per night! What a relief! Not only would my stuff be safe but this saved me a ton of money by not having to pay to have it all unloaded into a storage unit, reloaded in two weeks, and unloaded again at my new home plus the cost of a storage unit. I was then able to concentrate on finding temporary housing for my family. All Ways made what could have been a disaster an inconvenience instead. I would highly recommend this moving company. I will review again after they unload at my new home and the move is complete.

I was so happy with a previous move with All Ways Moving, that I didn't hesitate to call them a second time. The move was pretty straightforward. I had my belongings in a storage unit and they had my inventory from a move just months before. I had altered my inventory some by selling some furniture and purchasing some items. These changes were not a problem. My estimate was dead on! All communication was very clear from detailing the various expenses involved plus the timing of a cross country move. The timing went exactly as expected. Each time I was given an arrival window, the window was just a couple hours and the arrival was within the first half hour which was much appreciated. With moving all my belongings 1,000 miles (boxes I packed myself plus with my preschoolers' help), only one drinking glass was broken and it was a glass packed by my 4 year old, so I was not surprised! We plan to be here for a few years, but plan to use All Ways for any future moves and we have been recommending them to our friends.

This was the second time we recently used All Ways for a local move, and once again we were very impressed with the entire experience! The sales representative was very attentive to our needs and took very good care of us right from the beginning. The moving team was on time and took a lot of care in making sure things we placed in the appropriate room -- a courteous group. The office staff is always available and is personable and customer-service oriented...they do a great job and for a reasonable price!

First of all, Lisa provided me with an accurate quote prior to the move. She was knowledgeable and helpful in giving me advice to prepare for my move. The four member crew was pleasant, moved quickly and efficiently and had the stuff out of my old place in no time at all. They moved my belongings into a brand new home without leaving marks on walls, floors or doors with the same efficiency. They asked questions if it wasn't clear where things were supposed to go and seemed to be friendly through the process. They worked well together and functioned as a team, even while moving a very heavy treadmill.

This was the second time I used All Ways and everything went smoothly. They arrived on time and knew exactly what was needed to get the move done quickly and they were so careful moving furniture, boxes. All ways moving was a life saver. I had 2 weeks to pack up my house find a new place to live in NJ and hire a moving company. They immediately sent out a representative to survey my home and got me on their schedule for 10 days later and even moved me into my new location on the weekend. They made this move smooth and easy for my son and I and truly took a huge weight off my shoulders so I could start my new job without any worries. The crew that loaded my house was fantastic, professional and so helpful and kind. The same goes for the delivery crew as they had carry a lot of boxes up many townhouse stairs and bring my couch in up and over the balcony. If I was still in Pittsburgh I would use this team again and again. Thank you AllWays Moving for making a difficult transition so easy!!!!

This was the second time we used AllWays and once again they did a great job. The crew worked hard and were courteous. They were careful with our things and did an amazing job stacking all of our items in the storage facility. Everything fit by being stacked perfectly floor to ceiling using all of the storage space.

Allways did a great job from the estimate to the move. The movers were careful, worked quick and handled a special request I had with ease. Price was reasonable also.

ALL WAYS moving and storage I had lived in my home for 25 years and had a phobia of "the move". I knew that I needed competent help to successfully achieve this task. When I called ALL WAYS a warm and kind voice greeted me, it was Lisa. Lisa assured me that her company would make this endeavor simple. Lisa came to my home, her warm personality and expertise eased my concerns about how to take on this enormous task. Even my dog Noah immediately fell in love with Lisa knowing she was an outstanding person. I was impressed how quickly Lisa could go through all the rooms of our large house and knew how much storage space we would need. Her estimate of time needed to load, transport, and unload was quite accurate. Lisa gave me the option of either storing my furniture at their facility or use an off site vendor such as guardian storage, which gave me access to my items when ever i needed. Lisa gave us packing tips and ways to save time and money by organizing items to prepare for transport. Lisa followed up with us several times on the phone making sure we were prepared for moving day. The day of moving the crew arrived on time and were polite, all the members introduced themselves.the moving crew was professional and attentive to my needs. they used caution when transporting antiques and valuables. all items were transported and put into storage without a single item getting damaged. I was thrilled with my experience with All Ways Moving anThd Storage. So thrilled, in fact, that they are coming in the morning to move my items one more time across the country. I had a somewhat last minute move to do while 7 months pregnant and with 3 preschool children. I needed help without breaking the bank. I contacted All Ways Moving after remembering a promotion at a local minor league ball game. All Ways was very kind and courteous on the phone and in email. I was so pleased to be able to get a visual estimate from them and they were very professional in my home and with my children. I was happy with the quoted price. All Ways moved my belongings into storage. The movers were quite friendly and hard working. All of my belongings arrived in storage without damage PLUS my total cost for this move was LESS than the estimate! The clincher came with a follow up thank you note that had a handwritten note with specific details about my family. I could tell they really cared about me and my family and moving our items with care. I certainly will be using them again - wait - I already am!

Very well. Less than load arrived on time and in good condition. Movers were attentive, courteous and professional. Supportive staff took care to make certain everything went right. I have already contracted them to do another job - moving goods from a storage unit to another location many miles away.

The entire move could not have been better. Al, the estimator, was right on target and went the extra mile to obtain Pittsburgh city permits and NO PARKING signs so that the truck would have no problems setting up on a busy street. Both on the day of packing and on moving day, the teams arrived on time and ready to go and worked quickly but carefully. The professional packing was exceptionally well done--not a single thing was broken on delivery. And the moving day was as painless as possible. The teams really knew their stuff and were kind and sensitive to my 91-year old Mom and her belongings. Oh, and there was a $100 discount for mentioning Angie's List. These guys are terrific. Top rating!

After sending in my original review, I was contacted by a representative of All Ways about my comments. It was agreed that I would amend my review and they would refund the amount paid for the additional time that was needed to complete the move. This was agreeable to both myself and All Ways. As I stated in my original review, the movers themselves were prompt and courteous and worked very hard.

They arrived on time, moved my goods quickly and efficiently. I had a very heavy safe that made the task extremely difficult as it was in excess of 600 pounds. The men remained pleasant and professional.

Having used All Ways on my original relocation from Pittsburgh, PA to Chapel Hill, NC, i was excited to find that they could also move me back home to Atlanta. From the administrative aspect of the company (Kimberly) all the way through to the movers/drivers, All Ways maintains a very professional practice, timely and courteous responses to any and all forms of communication, punctual arrival and delivery times, and a stress-relieving process. There were small damages to pieces of furniture, but they were repaired through independent contractors set up by All Ways in the respective new cities, which helped alleviate the headaches of moving. Compared to many of my coworkers and friends, All Ways has been a good investment for care of my personal belongings, and i have never regretted hiring them. I moved countless times on my own before All Ways, but now i can't imagine using anyone else.
