The whole process from start to finish was fabulous! They helped us work thru the process of having the granite install, answered any questions and gave great advice to help make sure our install went smoothly. They were very timely with the install and very accommodating with changes due to our conflict. I would definitely use them again!!
Description of Work: They scheduled time to measure the kitchen and even came back twice- once to check something and once because I added a feature. They installed granite countertop for our kitchen and gave me great advice on where to place some items.

I will never use this business. I've tried twice because I live close by. I went in two years ago looking for help with a master bath vanity and felt I got no help, so I left. Today I went for another bath vanity because my contractor heard they were having a sale. There was a sign out from that indicated a decent sale price price per sq. ft. on granite, $32.99 I think. When I went in I was barely greeted by a blond woman with a Russian accent. She did not crack a smile, say hello, or ask about my project. I gave her my dimensions and she said all slabs out back were a flat fee based on size. For my size (about 10 sq. feet) and two sink cut outs any slab out back was about $1300. Slabs were not sold by the square foot sale price, yet I was given no other options. She sent me out back by myself...to the stacks of stone slabs disorganized in a gravel parking lot filled with puddles. I already had a bad feeling about the high price when the horrible shopping experience had me completely turned off. I left pretty quickly feeling like this place had no desire for my business, and did not care to help me with my project. So, I drove 10 minutes down the road to IST Granite, was warmly greeted, asked about my project, and escorted to the available slabs of granite. I found one I liked, and my overall price including everything was LESS THAN HALF of Let's Get Stone'd.

Description of Work: Kitchen Countertops. If you go into the yard and select a stone slab make sure they mark it with you name, slabs get moved and used all the time you may never find it again. Ended up doing a nice job, price was about average, selection at the time we went was only fair.

Not a great experience with this company. The back bar came out great, including the installation of the under mount sink. The front bar was not acceptable to us. They claimed there was not a slab long enough to allow for a one-piece counter top, so they added a piece to the end with a seam. The seam was very noticeable, and the two pieces of granite did not match. Once we complained they came to inspect, removed the granite, and attempted to find a better match. They claimed they were unsuccessful, and there was nothing else that could be done. Since this job has already been paid, we are now stuck. They also damaged some drywall when removing the granite, and this will need to be repaired. There are many companies offering granite services that stand by their work, and I would not recommend using this company.

They damaged a wall and a brand new wine refrigerator and refused to reimburse me for the damage. They were very rude when i called to report this to them. I sent pictures and contacted them several times but they still have not reponded. Also the installer handling that piece was very unprofessional. He constantly leered at my 14 year old daughter to the point we became so uncomfortable that I sent her to her room to get out of his view.

They offered us the free protection product then tried to make us pay for it to get the warranty. The company DRY -Treat said they don't charge for the warranty and would honor it of they filled the paperwork. They said they would not file the paperwork unless we paid them to do so. THE GOOD OLD BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!

Just visited the store 15 minutes ago. We walked in the dumpy showroom as a man at a desk directly facing us totally ignored our presence. The man in the other office also ignored us. We were the only people in the showroom!!!! I'm not about to beg someone to provide assistance in a showroom. I'll take my $12,000 elsewhere.

They were wonderful. Came out on time to measure the template and came a week later to install our countertops and sink. They were very professional and efficient. The new countertops and sink were installed in less than and hour and they were beautiful. I have no complaints about this company.

They were able to use remnant granite pieces to match other granite we had in our bathroom. They were efficient and professional. They had a beautiful rectangular sink option that we had never seen at any of the other 3 granite places we went to. They were able to expedite the template and installation dates for a small fee and we got it done before the holidays. Very pleased with the experience.

Be sure to save original measurements to compare with templating measurements.
Description of Work: Overall, very satisfied. Price for actual service was approximately $700 higher than estimate. For templating, installation, and backsplash, all three appointments were made for afternoon. On all three occasions, received phone calls asking if workers could come in the morning. Installation and overall appearance outstanding. Jill at LGS was a pleasure to work with!

They gave me the best price. They came out and measured in a timely mannet. Made the countertop in a few days and installed when they said they would. They were nice enought to let me mount my new faucets before they actually put the countertops in place. Great job and great service at a great price

They were not the highest or the lowest in price. However, they had the granite we wanted and that was the deciding factor. The installation was done before Thanksgiving 2010 and went well. There was one "misunderstanding". We wanted the lip of the granite, how much it extends from the counter, to be 2". We made it a point to let the person doing the measuring know and were assured it would be 2". After installation we found it was 1.5". About 1 month after installation we noticed two small cracks in the backsplash. I stopped by their store and told them about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. About a month later, with no calls from anyone, I went back to store and asked if they could do anything about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. About a month after that, with no calls from anyone, I went back to store and asked if they could do anything about it. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. About a month after that, with no calls from anyone (notice a pattern developing?), I went back to store. This time I spoke with the older gentleman (I assume he is the owner). When I told him about the previous times his comment was "You are talking to me now" and promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. A month after that, with no calls from anyone (and getting tired of the runaround), I went back to store and asked them again. They promised to have someone call and arrange a date for the repair. This time someone did call me. On Friday before Memorial Day. At 5:00 PM!!!! We were on our way out of town so they promised to call back and arrange a different time. Still waiting for that call! From my perspective, if service after the sale is important to you, look elsewhere.
Description of Work: They installed granite counter top in the kitchen. We replaced the counter tops in: small desk, island, kitchen/family room divider and kitchen counter top. The sink was included in the installation of the granite and was part of the overall price.

Kirk arrived on time and well prepared. He explained his philosophy on installing natural stone and listened to my ideas. He provided a written estimate within a day for both the Travertine tile installation and Granite counter tops. The only reason I am not using this company is due to the price. They were $1000 higher on the tile installation bid than my average bid. If you have the budget, I have NO doubt that they will do an EXCELLENT job. I just did not have the budget.

We went to the Valley Forge Home Show to check out the granite vendors. There must have been at least ten there. We spoke to most of them and gathered brochures. Almost all offered a free sink with installation. Let's Get Stoned not only offered a free sink, they offered a free granite vanity top (up to 48") with every pruchase of a kitchen countertop. We knew the granite we wanted -- "wild seas" -- and found it two other places. Both other places were far more conveniently located for us but one wanted $79/sq ft for "wild seas" and the other wanted $89/sq ft for it. LGS offered it at $69/sq ft. It was worth the 45 mile drive to get that deal. They also offered a choice of sink types and granite edges. We choose a deep "D"-shaped sink and a plain bevel edge. ( If you don't already have a faucet they offer a couple styles at a reasonable cost but we had already purchased a sleek $700 model for $150 on ebay.) We choose our slab at their small showroom in Warrington, then chose another piece of granite for the bathroom vanity from their "remainder" pile -- pieces left over from previous jobs. We paid half up front. About a week before the installation date one of their experts comes to your house and takes precise measurements (and makes a template if necessary). We have a small kitchen so it wasn't that complicated for him. During the week between the measuring/templating and installation we returned to Warrington for final approval of the layout/template on the slab. Granite slabs are BIG, so we had a variety of layout choices. We chose to put the green/taupe/cocoa/eggplant "movement" in the granite that ran like a stream through it across the longest countertop for maximum "wow" factor. Three days later three guys arrived right on time to install everything. No problems, everything fit perfectly. And it looks even better than we imagined. We were particularly impressed that they matched the vertical backsplash pattern to the horizontal surface pattern. Just gorgeous, we're absolutely thrilled (with our bathroom vanity top too). If you've been lusting for granite countertops I can't imagine a better deal than Let's Get Stoned.
Description of Work: We upgraded our kitchen countertops from some sort of "solid surface" (i.e. plastic looking stuff) to granite and got a granite bathroom vanity top thrown in.
