+ 0 moreWhatever you do, get someone other than DAI Construction to do your repairs. You'll find yourself with shoddy work (if they do anything at all) and probably ripped off to an extreme. Be wary of having your money completely stolen.
Description of Work: In theory, I was supposed to have a water heater installed and some minor roof and inside repairs done. All that happened was that my roof was repaired, I was overcharged (a lot!), the water pipes were cut, the water heater was never installed, the minor inside repairs were not done, and other things in the kitchen were broken. It was a complete mess and I had to hire someone else to do the work so I paid twice for everything.

+ -1 moreI would never have started with him, except he was recommended to me. I had my doubts from the beginning, but ignored my intuition and went ahead. He gave me a very cheap price, and then kept adding on extras as he went along so in the end I paid much more than I was originally quoted. When I finally decided to let him go, I brought in another contractor to give me an estimate on the work that was still incomplete and it will cost me an additional $$3000.00 because he did so little of what he was supposed to do and what was done has to be redone because of the poor quality.
Description of Work: I hired Steve as my general contractor for my house that I recently bought. He was very erratic in showing up to do the work and when he did he was like a whirlwind. His work was very poor and he kept holding me hostage to pay him more money or he said he would not return to finish. Unfortunately, I did this and was taken by him for many thousands of dollars.
