Guardian Protection

I have called them on a couple of times when I thought a storm hit some of my sensors. They had a quick response when called. They pick up the phone immediately and are very helpful. They have the top technology.

The system has not consistently worked, particularly the door lock and outdoor camera. Guardian has sent technicians to our home FOUR times to resolve the issues - each time we are given a four hour window for the technician to arrive. The system does not work today and we have no confidence that Guardian could resolve the issue with a fifth service call...we would like Guardian to remove the system and refund all money paid. We would NOT recommend Guardian.

Everything went well. There were no problems with the installation.

This write-up is to give special Kudos to Percy, a Guardian technician. Percy is a superb technician. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and perseveres to get the job done correctly. If you need a problem fixed with your Guardian alarm system, this is the tech to request in Northern Virginia. Guardian contacted us approximately four months after we had FIOS installed to tell us that our alarm system functions could not be detected at the home office. Four months we paid for zippo monitoring service. Although we have been a customer for many, many, years and have comprehensive coverage this issue fell outside our coverage becuase, unbeknownst to us, we needed to advise Guardian in advance of the FIOS installation. As on past occasions they sent out a technician who did not know how to resolve the issue, who had never heard of FIOS, was too lazy to even replace a low battery identified on the control panel, and still charged us for the visit!!! So we paid for four months of no service and the time and money to take off work and pay a tech to do "nothing." I advised the company to NEVER send that tech out to us again (this was his third visit to our home - 3 strikes and your out). Then, they sent us Percy. What a welcome and wonderful change. He is a great representative for the company and the type of employee that Guardian should aspire to hire. Excellent job Percy.

We had this service for over 5 years at $47/month. The one time someone actually got in, we got a text, the alarm had been turned off and reset. No other response. We have moved and canceled the service. However, apparently when they upgraded from 2G to 4G service last year, they increased our contract to an additional 44 months! Now that we have moved, they want us to pay $1400 for no service. When we had ADT previously, we had a one year contract. This has turned I to over an 8 year contract! According to other complaints, a woman died and they still insisted on payment! Can't strongly enough discouraging doing business with this company.

Shane came earlier than scheduled & was polite, efficient & knowledge. Patiently showed me how to work the new system & left a number for if I have questions.

Rep was punctual and polite as was the installer. Service is reliable and their response time is quite good.

Complicated job. Good work. Clean up. Listened to me & put things where I wanted.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD... DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY... The worst company ever I have seen which does not stand on their own sales person. The sales people (Basically lire in all the sense) came to our house and promised 7 days trail (the only mistake they made me do is agreed on 3 day trial) and promised $80 discount on home insurance( which turned out to be $18). He also promised he will come back and check on on 7th day to see if we like the system and not then we will cancel it without any cost. Later on fourth day I found out that this guys and company is not trustworthy at all. The way this people do business is sending this type of fake, liar and cheater sales people to every house and sell the product with all available and possible false promises which are verbal and make then tie into 3 year contract. When I called back the customer service they just keep on repeating one word you signed the agreement but never take responsibility of their own liar sales people. Now I tried calling sales person (anyone can guess), he never answers the call and neither customer rep is able to get hold of him (which is also Lie, I mean you can't get hold off of your own employee?) This company is completely fraud and DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT ever let anyone from this company to let in your house or you just throwing your money to them and making yourself feel like you been fooled. There's nothing I can do but learned lesson not to trust any sales person unless they promise something in written.

The technician arrived within the scheduled window. He explained the work to be done. Completed the work, helped me with setup and questions.

Chanes installer arrived on time. Was friendly, and knowledgeable. Performed installation of alarm to all time to thoroughly explain all features. Was tolerant of my screaming kids. Everything is working great.

It went very well. The technician was efficient and quick. He didnt charge extra for the holiday. He cleaned up after himself.

Chris was on time. Very professional. Provided detailed explanation of services and system. Answered all questions satisfactorily. Very friendly and personable.

Great – Alarm was great to work with.

The process went extremely well. The tech explained his process and went about executing his job. He then explained all functions.

Very well, technician was very friendly and informative. He even wore booties over his shoes to protect our floors.

Wade was perfect. On time and walked me thru the whole process.

Very responsive. They were very good about it all. Cost is customer friendly. They do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

Dave Apodaca the security consultant talked to us about the benefits of buying an alarm system from his company. He is a great salesman! Tom Morris installed the alarm system. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. He was very patient in answering our repeat questions also. He was very nice and easy to talk to.

I only had one issue with them, which was a common issue, only one issue which was the high price of cancelling of contract. reduce pricing of cancelling contracting.

The tech was on time, efficient and explained things thoroughly although a bit too quick to keep up at times.

I have had the alarm system for 20 years. When I bought the system, they put everything in free. Couple months ago I was shopping, and my front door was wide open, and they did call the police, and they did a walk through. I don't know if somebody opened the door, and the alarm went off so they ran away, but there was no one around. They contacted the police. As soon as you open my doors, the alarm goes off almost instantly. I wouldn't keep them for 20 years if I had problems.

Awful. They don't have their act together. Still dealing to this day with this nightmare of a company. As soon as my contract expires I plan to go with another company.

Guardian tech was polite and respectful. Tech cleaned after the job is done.

Installation and explanation on how to use the security system was exceptional.
