Description of Work: Installed security system. Guardian had the best rates and I loved that they don't contact out installation or call center services. The system installation went smoothly. The installer was punctual, profession and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Installed and serviced home security system. Mixed feelings. Some of the peeps were good, some terrible. Many things were too difficult. System works perfectly now. Good value for the money. Just felt too hard. Things may have improved. I would use them again only after a conversation about service protocol and expectation, which I am hopeful are now satisfactory.

Description of Work: Two companies involved here. Guardian is the alarm company who monitors our system and responds if the alarm system is activated. I've had little communication with Guardian, but what conversation I did have over the phone was good. They answered my questions, assured my confidence in them and very professional. The sales company was AMP out of Utah. They are the dealer. Sales was bold with poor math skills and high pressure. It's the same old trick: the first quote to install the alarm system was hundreds of dollars. Then when they say they give discounts if I sign today, that fact that I'm a retired fireman, they are in a good mood etc., they came to a price of $99 to install the system, the same price ($99) that Guardian offers on their website everyday, and with more options. The salesman also needs a math class as he quoted a simple $1.41 a day for monthly monitoring by Guardian. The actual monitoring is $55 / month that equates to $1.83 / day. When the salesman came to the door, I was actually shopping for an alarm system as we've had break-ins in our area recently. So I signed the contract. We're pleased overall, very please with Guardian. But I highly recommend working with Guardian directly and not the third party sales company called AMP. I called Guardian to express my experience with AMP, one of their dealers and they listened.

Description of Work: Guardian Protection has been my alarm monitoring company for over 12 years. My key pad went bad and needed replaced. My monthly fee is only for monitoring so anything that goes wrong I need to pay for parts and labor. And they charge by the 15 minutes. They had an issue clearing the alarm code from the main panel so it took a little longer than expected for the job to be completed. But they are always Great. The part cost $135.42 and the labor cost $45.00 plus tax. Thanks!
