Superb service. The salesperson took her time to be sure that we had the right system for our needs. Then the installer spent almost 4 hours making sure it was all installed properly (he had to switch-out a part to make our system work...he obsessed over making sure that each contact worked..great service). We received great service from start to finish.

Brian provided all the info which we requested and additional info which we did not think about.

We have used them for a long time and would highly recommend them. We have never had to alert anyone. I am sure that they are okay and it is just that nothing has ever happened. It is sort of like a quiet utility and you won't hear from them much if they don't hear from you much. The price is average.

They have done a good job for me and they take care of me when I make any mistakes with my alarm.

Everything was extremely professional and thorough with no pressure to buy. Unlike the other company that was very pushy and high pressure. Fran was great!

It was fine, but he could have just told me what I wanted to know over the phone

I called for an estimate. The office staff was fine and scheduled a salesperson to come out and give an estimate. The salesperson that came out for estimate seemed thoroughly disinterested in selling alarms. Provided very little information about the product and the company. He appeared tired, apathetic, and again - totally disinterested in the whole process. He emailed an estimate that night, but I had no information on their product or why I should go with Guardian instead of the other companies where we had gotten estimates. He provided no demonstration of the equipment, etc. Did not go with them so can not comment on their product, or monitoring, or customer service beyond estimate process.

After making an appointment an agent came, gave me an overview of the company and talked me through my possible needs, We discussed the reasons for a service and what I wanted to accomplish given my personal situation - including what I would need to alleviate my fears and insurance needs. A technician showed up, did the install - was courteous and quick. He patiently ran through the instructions till I was confident I could manage the system. During the installation, the agent showed up to make sure everything was going well and that I was getting what I ordered.

This process began with us completing a website request form for a home security system review. Bill called in less than 1 hour following that submission. Impressive! While on the phone, we scheduled the review at our earliest convenience which happened to be the day following the initial call from Bill. Reese conducted the review and described (and demoed) the security system that Guardian is using. He spent the better part of 4 hours conducting the review, repeating himself for a returning spouse, and answering questions. We decided to have the system installed. The installation was scheduled to occur (again) at our earliest convenience which was to be 4 work days following the review. The day after the review, we received a call indicating that another install had been cancelled and asked if we wanted to move our install up. Unfortunately, we could not; but it was nice to know that they would ask. The install took place as scheduled, with Reese calling early the morning of the install to inform us of the time the installer would arrive and that he would be not far behind. Reese spent time onsite the day of the install to ensure that the installer was clear on what we wanted to have done and where components were to be installed. The installer Jim explained what he was going to do and made recommendations about better placement of components when warranted. Not only was the system installed, but it was tested and explained very well. AND, Jim cleaned up after himself with a vacuum cleaner; so there was no plaster dust or any other install debris to clean up. We feel good about having this system installed and have been amazed so far about the responsiveness of this organization!

After reviewing the quotes, Better Business Bureua records, local reputation and sales-security advisor knowledge of Safe Touch, Alarm Force, Protection One, Guardian and ADT I decided that Guardian would be my company of choice. Guardian did an excellent job with the install, quality of equipment installed and so far the monitoring service has been excellent. They obviously are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for iin service and quality. I have not had any problems and the appliaction to how equipment works is very simple. The only draw with choosing Guardian is the commitment to a five year contract, but the price is locked in for all five years, so I may beat inflation increases with the long term contract. I found most other companys offered a three year contract with the ability to increase a certain percentage after a certain time period. These guys were very professional froom start to finish and on time for the install appointment. I would definetly recommend them to my family members. Rick

We are very impressed with this company. All the technicians and salespeople have been pleasant and they are always informed and responsive when we contact them. The people who answer the phones are competent and have been able to help us troubleshoot any issues with the system.

We called Guardian for a quote. Scott Abrams, called me back right away and we scheduled an appoinment for the next day, October the 4th. When he came by, we discussed our expectations and needs for an alarm system and he explained their offerings in response to those. He seemed to be knowledgeable of his product and answered every question we had.We knew what we wanted, he knew what they could offer, we just had to agree on a price. We had quotes from other vendors and he made his best effort to get our business without being the traditional "pushy" salesman.We made the decision after comparing their offerings with those from others, including the online DIY options. We exchanged emails, and calls after the contract signature to add some options that we wanted. The day of the installation Scott came by to check on theinstallation. Ray the installer was excellent, he listened to us and asked about our wishes regarding installation options. He made sure everything looked as neat as possible and even suggested a better option than we had discussed with Scott for the window contacts. We are very pleased overlall from the first contact, to the sales person, to the installer. Based on our experience so far, we would definitely recommend them to others.

We had had a break-in to our home while we were out one evening. The next day, using Angie's list, we called Guardian, who immediately sent over a representative, who thoroughly went through our home making an appraisal of what we needed, gave us an estimate that we thought was very fair, and when we agreed that day, they moved us up on the installation list due to the recent break-in. They installed everything very throughly and have been just great since then. We are very happy so far and anticipate only the very best service in the future.

I had a salesman come out. I had another guy from another company who came out and I liked him a lot. I had a good point of comparison. Almost immediately the salesman from Guardian came out and started talking about his personal life, about his ex wife. Not very professional to say the least. That is a very inappropriate way to sell a service. I asked him to give me a securty analysis. He would not do it. I started telling him what I think I needed and he said, "No, I will tell you what you need." He told me I need something on every window. ADT came up with a bill of a little over $200.00 and Guardian came up with a bill of over $1,200.00. I started taking things off the list and I got it down to about $400.00. He started calculating things extremely fast and would not tell me what he was calculating. After we got things settled he added another $100.00 for unexplained reasons. He told me he had forgotten something. After I had listened to this man speak about his personal life for hours I did not feel like reading through the fine print on multiple pages. He informed me after I had signed the papers he told me that it was a five year contract that I could not get out of. He also did not tell me it would take his men five hours to do the work. This was the last day I had to pack at my other location and I did not have time to finish packing so I had to pay movers to pack my stuff. He never told me that everytime I touch the system it makes an alarm noise. Everytime I touch the system my neighbors will hear an alarm noise. When the installers came, they informed me that there is a three year option instead of the five year option. He deceived me on the contract which I am not happy about. I am a Howard Hannah customer and Guardian is a Howard Hannah business partner. I was supposed to get a special deal through Howard Hannah. The salesman knew about this and did not honor this deal. He has effectively cheated me out of $450.00. I called the company and asked them to do something about it. They started insulting me. They told me I had plenty of time to read through the contract. Their plan is to have the salesman contact me. The same salesman that cheated me and made me listen to details about his personal life. This is a terrible company. I want my discount and I want out of the deal. That was my first experience with Guardian. Since then, a VP has come to my house twice to hear out my concerns. He was very professional, and provided the kind of service I thought I should have had from the beginning. He has also rewritten my contract for a 3 year term and offered a discount for what I had to go through in the first go round. He also had the installer come back and turn off the alarm sound when I am simply programming the system. He has tried to make this right. I am impressed. So, I'm changing my eval.

I did a lot of research on local and national alarm companies. Obtained three quotes: DFW Security, Smith Alarms and Guardian Protection. Guardian arrange an onsite meeting with a security sales person within hours of me submitting the online request.Security consultant, Alan Johnson arrived at my house on time. I gave him a brief tour of the house and expressed my concerns and areas that I thought were most venerable. Alan pointed out some things I had not thought of; we sat down and he put together the configuration and gave me a written quote. After evaluating all quotes I found Alans to be the most comprehensive and decided to go with Guardian. I must point out that they were not the cheapest solution, but I felt they gave me the best solution and protection for my home and family. Install schedule was set, Tech (Emanual) showed up on time and performed the install within three hours. He walked me through the house and showed me where each piece of hardware was installed and then gave me an overview of the system operations and system panels. Once we completed the training he had me log into the web portion of my security system; showed me how to make changes and manage the system. We then downloaded the iPhone application which allows me to arm, disarm and monitor my system from anywhere. Great feature for iPhone users (think it works with other smart phones too). Overall a great experience.

We have decided to cancel our new instal.

Overall great job. We are receiving monitoring on two residents for: Burglary Fire Smoke Personal health alert alarm for my mother-in-law Excellent service, installation, and follow up afterwards. Highly recommend to anyone seeking this type of service. Plus we got a $250 coupon for using Angie's List!!!

Went well with a 2 hour sales presentation followed by installation of 3 hours. We chose Guardian because of a better sales presentation than ADT, computerized equipment not offered by the ADT salesman (but apparently available), and a $1,000 savings over ADT.

The salesperson gave me a comprehensive overview of the system and options. He understood my concerns and gave very good advice not only on the alarm system but also things I could do around the house to improve security. The installation was excellent and so far, it's working great.

John Thirty came by my home on a saturday and spent over 2 hours going over all of Guardian's security features which were very impressive. He also walked with me through my home and identified existing nonsecure points of entry. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. He was extremely professional and thorough. He scheduled an installation at my requested time and he was also present at my install along with the technician to answer additional questions. The technician was also very professional and explained all aspects of the system and did an excellent installation overall. I would definately recommend Guardian to anyone. They are A+.

It went very well. Their services make it the best system for the money. They are connected with AAA and they provided great service with us because we are members as well.
