They are very efficient. If you open the door and the alarm is on, you have 45 seconds and they are on the phone. If you are not home, they will call the police. They function very well as an alarm system.

I am so impressed with the resolution of my complaint. I had the District Manager call me today and wanted to come to my home and discuss my options to resolve my complaints. Ron was very friendly and professional and really wanted to resolve this and make me happy. Within an hour of him leaving the company called me to install a better keypad to see if this would help with the keypad issues. He really cared and listened and I am very happy with Guardian.

I went through the gentlemen named, Pol and he was very helpful. He came about two days after I made a call, gave us a variety of different rate options and coverage options, which was very helpful. We are pleased with fact that we didn’t feel, we are not paying too much for what we actually wanted.

Spencer, the salesman, was very courteous and professional. He inspected the home and provided an estimate for the requested security features. He even worked around our schedule to meet in a location closer to my workplace to finalize the installation contract. The installer arrived on time, installed all the hardware, and cleaned up when the job was finished. The installer explained how to operate the keypad and provided a cheat sheet with the most frequently used features. The installer was also professional and courteous. We highly recommend Guardian Protection Services Inc.

This is the most difficult company to deal with. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Customer Service for this company sucks and my issued still is not resolved. I transferred my service agreement from my name to another individual name at the beginning of March. Last week while at work I received a phone call regarding my bill and this company continues to bill me instead of the new customer. I explained the situation to the CSR and was transferred and then put on hold Well I was at work and second according to the transfer department everything had been completed on my part and the new customers part. Now a week later the same CSR from this company calls me about the bill and I explained to her that we talked last week and I still got no where with this person. Hung up the phone got on the internet and called guardian back to speak to someone else about my situation and I still did to get anywhere in my situation. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY"S CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have two complaints about their service First, they are too aggressive sometimes, I received a call from them for our house at my work of an alarm, I gave them our password and told them not to dispatch the police, as I had another call coming in related to the person who set off the alarm, I quickly hung up to take the other call.They dispatched the police anyway. Even though they called me for advice as how to proceed and I gave them my password, they ignored my instructions. Secondly, on these plans you pay little up front for the equipment but pay a monthly fee forever. Since I have been paying the monthly fee for 5 1/2 years, and I know their equipment is paid for, I asked them to reduce the monthly fee. They somewhat agreed, but what I got was an offer for a new contract that is longer than the Constitution of the United States. It is ridiculous, I have been a good customer of theirs and they treat their old customers worse than new customers!

My father passed away recently and my mother didn't feel safe in the house by herself. I contacted several alarm companies for quotes and found Guardian to be the best on all accounts. They had the best pricing and equipment for my mom's small home. The sales person was extremely professional and took a great deal of time to explain the system to both my mom and I. The day of installation, the technician arrived right on time and he too was very professional. He had prepped the equipment ahead of time, so the 3 hour installation time only took about an hour. He was very patient in showing my mom how to use the system and went through it several times with her until she felt comfortable doing it herself. I would highly recommend Guardian Protection Services.

Jim Komorowski was our Security Consultant. The initial appointment went well. Jim did a great job outlining the security system capabilities and various features. He was very clear (and respectful) about the differences between his company and his competitors. Jim was very fair and thoughtful in saying that his competitors were good companies; he tried to focus only on areas where he felt there was a difference. Jim was very thorough in designing a whole-house system to meet our needs. There was a snafu in the installation date - where the scheduling department put our installation date on the wrong day and kept us waiting for an entire day before we realized the mixup. Our understanding was that Jim provided the correct day, however, the scheduler somehow mixed it up . Not a huge deal but it was frustrating to lose an entire day and then have to wait another week for the install. The following week the unit was installed and initially worked as designed - with a few exceptions. The voice-link service (which cost an extra $5/month) was not working. Luckily an accidental alarm trip helped us to discover the voice-link system/service was defective. Once we brought it to their attention the company's customer service department was very professional and quick to respond in setting up an appointment to have a Technician repair the system. The problem ended up being a settings issue within the unit. We are also having problems with one of the Zones so they are coming back out to fix that. Outside of the system issues I mentioned I think the flexibility of this security system, and the Web-based & Phone Applications are best-in-class. I find this to be a very customizable and user friendly security system; and one that I would recommend. One area I am not 100% sold on is the true benefit of the voice-link system. Even after fixing the problem I mentioned above, I find the delay in the call-back response time to be longer then the system without voice-link. That means we are paying more per month for a longer response. Granted the call-back response time is not huge, but certainly longer than quoted in the brochure. All that said, while I would recommend the security system, I am not ready to recommend the upgraded version that has the voice-link feature. I will update this review if more experience with the voice-link system changes my mind.

They are the people who installed the alarm system for the previous owners. They looked reasonable so I called them and they made some modifications, and I hope to be back up again. I think the parts were $275, and the monitoring service is about $29 a month. I like them. They answered all my questions and seemed very competitive on the prices. The installation people were very good. They were in and out done and cleaned up nicely.

Originally I used them because of their price. They are prompt and professional. They are willing to work me as a long term customer. There are a lot of things I've added that I haven't had to pay for just because I've agreed to extend my contract or add other services.

The experience with them was good. They showed up on time and installed the system. We paid $100 for the installation, and then we had to buy a contract. We thought we were taking out a three year contract and we were mislead because it was a five year contract.

This provider never contacted me back.

When it happened that we were going to move, it turned out to be something like a 10% discount. It was not even worth it. It was a negative experience.

This company's service and installation were very good. I would definitely recommend their services.

.I like the ease of their services. The alarm was installed six or seven years ago. I haven't had any problems with it. They know what they are doing and are very good at it. Whenever you call everyone is very knowledgable.

When we started looking into getting a home security system, my first phone call was to ADT. I was appalled by the customer service that I received on that phone call. ADT, at least at that time in September 2011, was not offering free in-home consultations. The ADT customer "service" rep on the phone was horribly pushy and wanted me to commit to a $100 consultation. When I said that I needed to discuss this with my partner, he hung up on me. Although I never gave ADT my phone number, they must have pulled it from the call, because they proceeded to call me repeatedly for weeks. I was not impressed. Our experience with Guardian was so much better. Bruce Woltanski (of Guardian's Newtown PA office) came out, as part of a free initial consultation, to talk with us about the Guardian system options in mid-September. He was terrific about honoring the Angie's List Member Discounts and helped us to take full advantage of them. (If you're considering getting an alarm system, check out these discounts -- they are really significant!!) Bruce is the perfect salesperson. He told us all about the system options, but wasn't pushy AT ALL. It was like having a friend at the table. We felt that he genuinely wanted to help us figure out exactly what we needed -- but no more than that -- to keep our home safe. Then Bruce and Darrel came out to install the system in October. By then, we had a houseful of workers doing renovations, and we really appreciated how robust Bruce and Darrel were to all of the chaos! They were so nice to work with, both professional and personable. We ran into a little bit of trouble with the way that the Guardian sensors are generally installed -- which is with double-stick tape. Within a couple of weeks of the installation, three of our sensors started coming loose and set the alarm off on various occasions. (This is pretty jarring, especially if --like us-- you're getting accustomed to your first-ever alarm system!) Each time this happened, we called the Guardian Customer Service line and they helped us to get the system under control until they could send someone out to fix the problems. The service person who they sent out did a great job of better securing our sensors. Now the kinks seem to be worked out and the system is working well for us. We had one other minor glitch with Guardian when one of their workmen showed up unannounced at our front door (a few months after we had the system installed) telling me that he was here to disconnect our system. I was very confused, and he implied that we hadn't been paying our bill to Guardian. I told him that our account was in good standing and that I wasn't comfortable letting him into my home. (To be honest, I thought he was running some kind of scam, pretending to be a Guardian employee). The workman was polite and left without further ado. I immediately called Guardian, and they looked into the issue. I was right that our account was paid in full, but somehow they had made a clerical error and had sent the workman to the wrong address. They were very apologetic about the situation, which I appreciated. But it was also a bit of jarring experience. Overall, I'm glad that we chose Guardian and we are satisfied with our home security system. Bruce was great to work with (he even sent us a Christmas card!), and the telephone customer assistants have been very helpful everytime we've needed to call them. There have been a few glitches here and there, but Guardian has been good about getting problems fixed promptly.

I had a consultation with Carlos Gomez, who was fantastic! He spent a great deal of time with us evaluating our home and making sure we made the best choice. He was extremely honest and genuinely concerned with our preferences. This is our first time selecting a security service provider and we couldn't have been happier with our decision!

The representative who came to my home was friendly and knowledgeable about the company's products, but seemed a bit scattered over the course of our several days of communications. That being said, however, the system he recommended was just right for my purposes, he was able to provide me with a surprisingly affordable price, and he has been quick to respond to a few follow-up calls I've made. (Maybe it was just the stresses of the holiday season?) The installer, too, was right on time and did a very clean, professional job within a couple of hours. I'll recommend Guardian!

Excellent presentation by consultant. Decided to stay with existing company but will definately call Guardian if we choose to leave our current supplier.

My overall experience was excellent. The price was excellent, considering the Angie’s List coupon. They were responsive. They were punctual. They were very professional. The quality of service was excellent.
