I am very happy with the service however I do think their charges per month are a little higher than the competition. Other than that they are technologically up to date in their services.

From first contact with Guardian representatives, sales, and service installation, the entire process was excellent.

Even though Guardian was notified twice, they failed to change to contact info to our new home phone. So, when the renters accidentally set off the smoke detector three different times Guardian called the Fire Dept. and we had to pay fines for "false alarm". Several calls to Guardian 'customer service' still did not solve this problem. On one occasion the "CSR" even argued with me. I also talked with 3 different people that day and got 3 different answers to my questions. In their defense, I was finally able to speak with a Supervisor and he gave us 4 months' free monitoring to make up for my hassles and bad experience. We have a 5-year contract with them and to break it we would have to buy it out. Since we were well-satisfied with their service at our old home, we are remaining cautiously optimistic that this was a one-time SNAFU and the problem is now corrected. We will provide future updates if more problems arise.
