Great, He came when he said he would so I didn't miss any work

First, Lewis Appliance Services is located in Warren, PA, about 35 minutes away from my home. I called them, as the store where I purchased the washer, Acme Appliance in Jamestown, NY, refused to respond, ignored my numerous calls, (its March 3rd and I'm still waiting for his call back which was promised "within the hour") Lewis Appliance were at my home within the promised time, conducted himself in a friendly professional manner, and used every available tool at his disposal, including a call to the Maytag Repair center, to determine it would not be financially smart to repair my washer, although only 3 years old. He also took the time to give me his opinion on brands of washers and his experience with most of them. This expert advice was helpful in my choosing my new washer.

We had a small water leak that did not appear to be coming from any external connections. Boyd came originally on August 28th, and cleaned some potential causes, hoping that would eliminate the problem. He asked us to call them back if the leak continued, which it did. He then ordered additional parts, came on September 4th and installed them, which did take care of the leak. Both times we have used Lewis Appliance they have been courteous on the phone, and at the house. They always have arrived "on time", performed the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up any "mess" from the repair work. We are exceptionally satisfied!

The actual fix seemed pricey at first glance. Simply changing the inline filters is something I could have done for a fraction of the cost. The thing is however, I had this problem for almost 2 years and I had no idea of what to do. For a professional to come to the house, diagnose the problem and fix it quickly, it was well worth the cost. Please understand that I have nothing but praise for their professionalism and the results. By the way, it was a confined area that he had to work in which made his work more difficult. My initial concern about price was mostly because I have never had any appliance fixed in the home before and had no idea what to expect. I have no reservations about using them again and will certainly recommend them to others.

It went very well, had another repairman come and look at our dryer that wouldn't run, he tore it all apart and said the computer was bad on it, needed a new one at a cost of around $300.00, jerked us around with not answering our call backs..long story short, we contacted LEWIS APPLIANCE and set up an appointment..They were very quick to get us in,came to the house and found that the problem was a blown fuse not a major repair, fixed the problem..They were very honest and professional about the whole thing and we would highly recommend them to everyone that wants the service you desire and expect..thank you Lewis Appliance...

The problem, a nonfunctioning compressor fan motor, was quickly diagnosed. My worries were consoled when I was given easy instructions for keeping the refrigerator functioning by rigging up an impromptu fan while the parts where on order. A money saving option of using an after-market replacement part worked perfectly! Lewis Appliance Service is honest, fair and prompt. I would definitely call them for future repairs and would recommend this business to my neighbors.

It went great! Boyd was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He carefully dismantled the dryer to access the drum; was careful with the placement of the lid, front, etc. of the dryer as well as with our walls and flooring. In the process of making the repair he politely answered any questions we had. After completing the job he cleaned up debris caused by the repair, and gave us specific directions as to when we could begin to reuse the dryer. We are totally satisfied.

My experience with them was good. I got an appointment with them really quick and they fixed the problem on the same day. I would use them again in the future.
