REIT Oil has caused one of the worst and most uncomfortable experiences for my family and I. Yesterday we had an auto-refill delivery for our oil tank. They didn’t notify us that they were coming, but regardless they added oil to our tank. I noticed after the oil was filled that my home was filled with fumes. This is somewhat normal after an oil delivery, but the fumes were much stronger than normal. My family and I checked it out, only to find that there was gallons of oil spilt all over our tank, all over the floor of our basement, and seeping into our lawn. We contacted REIT, as i thought maybe a pipe was cracked, and they flat out admitted to overfilling the tank. They sent someone out to “clean” the mess, but they just sprinkled this white fine powder on the floor and didn’t clean anything else. The floor now is just a mixture of oil and powder and both the oil tank and the lawn are still coated in oil. The fumes are still so strong that we had to open every window in the house to just breath comfortably- and it’s the middle of December! I called to complain and was put on the phone with the owner of the company, who then blamed me for the entire situation. It’s not my job to check how much oil is in the tank, and it’s not my fault that we didn’t use as much oil as they had expected. It’s the job of the owner and the employees to ensure that they don’t completely overfill a tank, spilling GALLONS of oil in a customer’s home. If they had given us a real apology and properly rectified the situation, I would not have cancelled my contract. The fact that the owner not only blamed me, but was extremely rude, shows the utter incompetency and unprofessionalism poisoning this company. Now I’m worried that myself and my family will suffer health complications due to us inhaling these strong fumes. Save yourself the trouble and do not hire this company for your oil.

Overall very pleased with sales and service personnel.. Called on a Sat due to leaking water heater. Chris called right back and even came over later in morning for an estimate. Provided many options and discussed and listened to what I needed. I had already done a lot of research on different water heaters and in the end he was able to provide me with the advice and suggested product based on what I wanted at a fare price.. Provided written quote on Monday and install was done on Wednesday. Install technicians arrived on time, finished quickly and did everything I requested. Overall install very well done to my high standards. Did not try to bait and switch and very happy with quality of work. Will look to using for my furnace services in future.

Stay away. I was quoted one price then charged more money per gallon. I was told to call the salesperson. Waiting for a call back. OVER A MONTH AGO.

BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.

THEY WERE THE FIRST AND LOWEST OF THREE QUOTES. BECAUSE MY FURNACE IS UNDER THE HOUSE WITH LIMITED ACCESS, IT WAS A DIFFICULT INSTALL. THEY WORKED EXTRA HARD TO FIND A UNIT THAT WOULD FIT THROUGH THE CRAWL SPACE ENTRANCE, THEY REMOVED THE OLD FURNACE AND THEY WERE FINISHED IN ONE DAY. THEY LEFT EVERYTHING SO CLEAN, I NEVER EVEN KNEW THEY WERE THERE UNTIL I FIRED UP THE NEW HEATER! WE'RE TOASTY NOW AND VERY GRATEFUL. TIM BOMBOY WAS OUR CONTACT.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY CLEARLY ABOUT HOW TO USE THE EQUIPMENT. THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY TO A CALL AND CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. THEY WERE GREAT.

REIT WAS VERY DEPENDABLE. THEY CAME OUT FOR THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON THE EXPECTED DATE.
