Andy came by on a Sunday when the company that actually did my basement waterproofing kept sending my emergency call to their voicemail. He was able to fix the sump pump on a rainy day so that it did it's job and kept my finished basement dry. Excellent work. Had to repair an oil-tank fill/vent pipe pass-through in my basement wall that the original contractor as botched. I had to go to court to get the original contractor to pay for the work and Paradigm still honored their quote, which was well past 90 days. There has been absolutely no water through this part of the basement in two years. I'm now going to call again to patch a few more holes.

Andy and his team at Paradigm completed a drainage system job with water backup on the driveway wall in addition to waterproofing in our basement. They were professional, friendly and very responsive when we had an issue after the installation, coming by and fixing it that day for no cost. We are going to contact them to do work in the future due to the great experience we had working with them.

Andy from Paradigm Home Solutions offered several options for tackling our basement water penetration issues. His crew was punctual, they worked clean, and the price was competitive. Since the work was completed we have had numerous major rainstorms and snowfall, but the basement remained bone dry. I would definitely hire them again.

As in our first interaction, Andy and Ross (owners) were helpful, professional, creative, responsive, and efficient They answered all our questions and the job was done exactly as they had promised. They are terrific professionals and make these repair projects much smoother and even enjoyable than you would think they could be. Twice they have exceeded our expectations.

I had 3 companies come out and while the basic solution was a french drain into my sump pump, only Paradigm was willing to do more than dig an open ditch. I now have no water in that part of the basement and no open ditch. They also dug up outside the garage on the other side to find and seal the small leak into the garage, and now that's fine too. Of the three companies, Paradigm was the only one to really sit down and explain things, to take the time to inspect everything thoroughly, to offer more than a cursory look and a canned solution, and to not pressure me or make me feel like my questions were stupid. For that respect alone, I would hire them. But they also had the best solution and a very good price for the work to be done in comparison to the other 2 companies. When they came to do the work, they were careful, very efficient, worked hard, and left the place clean. I couldn't be more satisfied.

The work done was excellent. Ross and Andy and their team were the best in professionalism. The work was done in a timely fashion (finished sooner than promised) and the basement looked like new when they were done. All questions prior to and after the completed work were answered completely. Obviously we all would like a lower price but having said that I would hire Paradigm again and would recommend to any family member or friend. Never thought I would be so happy to spend this much money on a basement -it was worth every penny.

From the time the co-owners (Andy and Ross) came out for the estimate to the time they finished the basement work, they were professional and prompt. I chose Paradigm over the other companies that we received estimates because they were very knowledgeable and took the time to fully answer all of the questions that my wife and I had asked them. The scope of work consisted of waterproofing nearly 100 linear feet of basement wall and the installation of a new Zoeller sump pump and a Liberty water-powered backup pump. A crack on the foundation wall was repaired with carbon fiber material. The work started at 7AM with crew of 10 men and they were done by 3PM. They laid down floor covering to protect our wood floors and used HEPA filters to minimize dust around the entire house. After the work was completed, the basement was swept clean and they took the time to explain how to maintain the pumps and use the clean-out drain. We haven't gotten any major rain storms to see how the system is working, but knowing that the waterproofing work is covered under the warranty, I have the confidence and the peace of mind that the basement will stay dry regardless.

Andy, Ross and Bob were terrific! They are so knowledgeable, friendly and quick to answer questions. They really care about the customer and want your basement to be water free forever!

This was incredibly smooth. The estimate was helpful and Bob advised us on how to safely purge items we no longer needed so that we could get the cost of treatment down. The team was professional and polite, and their work was excellent.

Ross was fantastic to work with, right from the start when he came to view the job and provide a quote. He is on time, did exactly what he said he would do, and the crew was EXCEPTIONALLY clean. They were very courteous of our home environment and worked to provide minimal disruption our daily life. OH, and the waterproofing works too - basement is dry. Would gladly refer!!

From the beginning of the project to the end, the co-owners Ross and Andy and their diverse team of technicians and workers were professional, reassuring, prompt, and thorough. I particularly appreciated not only the diversity of their team but the camaraderie among them that led to efficiency and ease of service. They treated our house with respect, cleaning up after themselves at every step of the process and were trustworthy, as we needed to leave them alone in our home during most of the process. They even asked if they could use the restroom. On the way out, I mentioned a problem with my kitchen faucet and Ross stopped his exit, got down on the floor, found the problem and made the repair on the spot-no charge. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves with an extensive and expensive home repair of this type. They were, in a word, TERRIFIC. And we now have a new plumber- thank you Ross.

The best experience I ever had with a contractor. These guys are great! 1. They were responsive and punctual. 2. The pricing was competitive. 3. The quality of the work was outstanding. I knew wasn't going to receive this level of service from any of the other companies that bid on the job (Jamison, BQ Basements, or AJ). That's why I hired them. The owners (Andy and Ross) are hands on from start to finish. This is the best way to run a business. Otherwise you risk having guys on the job that don't give a **** because its not their company, reputation or even their responsibility if there's an issue. I'm very particular about who I allow to do work in my house because I'm the son of a 3rd generation carpenter and a little OCD. I'm happy to recommend these guys to everyone on Angie's list and to my friends and family. If you don't at least have these guys out for an estimate you may be missing an opportunity to get great quality, service and pricing like I did.

The crew was early getting to our house, did their work quickly, as quietly as could be expected, and placed runners and tarps and air cleaners everywhere they were needed. They welcomed us to watch as they worked and answered all our questions. The crew took great pride in the work the did. The owners were on sight to answer any concerns we had. We got four estimates to do this job; Paradigm was the most professional of them all. No pressure, all questions addressed, and the price was fair. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate in using them on another job.

First let me start by saying Andy and Ross are two of the most professional contractors that I've ever worked with. They showed up on time with their extremely friendly and professional workers. The original quote was for two days of work they finished a half a day early, they ran into a couple unexpected problems when they started the work and did not charge me any extra. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work the Paradigm did for us, having the peace of mind knowing that our basement is safe for us to refinish for our kids play room is a great feeling. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. Thank you Andy and Ross, you guys are the best!!!

I wish I never did it. Professionals don't ask you how you would fix the situation. They asked me if I wanted a floor drain at the bottom of the bilco door where I had a little water seepage after heavy rain. In the end they didn't install one, and didn't do the miradrain there either and the problem persisted. The concrete they used in other areas was more porous than my existing floor, now it gets damp when the water comes in through their miradrain system. It's possible that the system doesn't work because there's no space for the water to run through and it collects under the new part of the floor. The new sump pit they installed into which they reinstalled my old sump pump (which they said was fine) filled with mud and ruined my sump pump. Luckily they are very responsive when I contacted them about the persisting problems and we discovered the pump problem when they returned to fix the areas where I was unsatisfied. The fixes were: 1. Added densifier to the 4 month old concrete, which doesn't seem to have done anything, it still gets moist when it rains; 2. added some round backing behind the waffle board shaped miradrain to prevent air from under the slab from coming up into the room (it doesn't); 3. installed miradrain at the bottom of the bilco doors AND a floor drain (which water could never get to now because of the miradrain but air from the sump pit now flows freely into the room through it). They also sprayed about 4 ounces of thyme based disinfectant around the room which made it smell nice for about a week. I still have efforescence happening on my walls which indicates water is still trapped in there, and it still smells like a basement. My goal was to make this into an exercise room. My goal was not achieved. If the fix they did was not the fix I needed they should have told me that. I know it's possible to eradicate basement smells - I've been in houses where it's been done. I should have asked at the time who they used and how that was done. It wasn't done by these guys.

The job was promptly scheduled and the work was performed exactly as advertised. Both Ross and Andy were on site when the work was performed to my complete satisfaction. Their workers were very nice, and they also took care doing the work. This is a very professional, small company that specializes in basement waterproofing, sump pumps, mold remediation and certain aspects of plumbing. As a real estate investor, if I have a future need in this area I will not hesitate to hire them again.

Every home contractor should run their business exactly like Paradigm! The owners were relaxed, friendly and explained the process of resolving our water problem in a manner that made us feel confident in hiring them. Andy, Ross and a team of focused, courteous, helpful professionals arrived on time, performed the work as explained to us then left our crawl space dry, our home clean and most importantly gave my wife and I the knowledge and peace of mind that our water issue was resolved….forever! You can’t ask for anything more from your contractor. We would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

Ross and his crew showed up promptly on the first day. He had a huge crew of friendly guys. The work was scheduled to take 2 days and they delivered on that promise. I had thought my basement was only damp, but Ross found a large area of mold hidden in the back of a closet. They remediated that and added some vents for better airflow. I am very happy with the work and feel great about turning my basement into a living space now. Hire them for your project and you won't be disappointed! Oh, and they don't ask for a deposit upfront!

Andy (one of the owners) responded to our emails very quickly (usually the same day) and was very professional and helpful. Being new home owners, we had a lot of questions and Andy and his team was there for us during every step of the process. Would highly recommend!

Vendor was responsive, and quick to schedule a time that was convenient for me. Service was completed in about an hour, and seems like it was done well. I used an Angies List deal, so I have no complaints on the pricing!

They came in quickly to rectify the issue, were super professional and accommodating to our needs, while working with us to ensure we werent overpaying for the work that needed to be done. Would recommend them to anyone needing work in their basements or crawlspace!
