I can't say enough great things about the owner. He was a joy to work with and even made suggestions to help me save even more money. He is professional, curteous and just such a nice man. He was very quick and efficient and super clean. I am so happy with the results and have already hired him for my next project.

Came soon after an initial conversation and followed up soon after giving an estimate. I ended up hiring someone else, since they could start working on the project sooner.

I have used Phil Parkinson Plumbing numerous times in the past with great results. On this occasion Phil came out first to look at the job. He took his time planning, measuring, and showing us what the finished work would look like. Phil was patient with all our questions and explained everything clearly. He also showed us how the plumbing was connected and how it all worked. He is professional and super friendly. We set up an appointment to have the work done and Phil and Steve came out to do the job. They were on time and gave a courtesy call 15 minutes before arriving. They had all the appropriate equipment and were able to do the work quickly in one day. Very Happy with the results, Thanks Phil and Steve. Will definitely use Phil Parkinson Plumbing again!!

After replacing the O-ring the leak was not resolved. Phil went to the basement to see if there was any water damage/other issues. It turned out that the toilet had a hairline crack which he discovered after laying down on the floor to see where the water was coming from. Phil called all of his contacts to try to get us a replacement on a Saturday in the summer. Phil is extremely patient and has a very calming presence. He was willing to answer all of my questions and gave me options. I highly recommend him and will call on him again.

Excellent! Phil responded quickly when I called about having him come for an estimate. Once we decided to have him do the work, he was terrific about communicating availability and scheduling and also to confirm the appointment the day before. He was on-time, did a great job and the work area was spotless afterward. I would definitely recommend Phil and we'll absolutely call him whenever we have plumbing needs in the future.

Phil installed a new hot water heater for me. His prices were fair, he showed up when he said he would and was great about communicating. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and is an honest businessman. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and would recommend him to anyone that needs a plumber.

Very efficient and courteous .After install they re- lite all pilots on heater and water heater and 2 gas fireplaces. I would recommend and also use again if needed.

Phil and Steve were incredible - professional, punctual, efficient, and did excellent work. They were incredibly responsive to any requests we made, with repairs completed within 24 hours of our calling them and major new installation work completed promptly. They worked well with us to develop the plans for our repairs and renovations, discussing different options for plumbing installations and trying to find the setup that would work best with our other plans. They were incredibly polite and professional at all times. They did excellent, efficient, neat work, and cleaned up everything. We initially asked them to help with several jobs - reinstalling a drain line, running new pipes, moving a gas line, etc., but then were so impressed with their work that we called them back for several additional jobs. Each time, they were very responsive and came quickly to complete new repairs/jobs. Prices were more than reasonable. Very very impressed with Phil Parkinson plumbing.

My basement sewage ejector motor failed and sewage had backed up into my basement shower stall and toilet. Phil responded within 24 hours [less] and assured me over the phone that he did sewage ejector work [many plumbers do not]. We set a date/time, he called the day before to confirm and arrived 15 minutes early. He inspected and said to consider a replacement pump. We agreed, and set a price. He vacuumed out the sewage from the failed pump, the shower stall and the toilet. He went to get the pump, came back within the time stated and installed it. He did not clean the toilet or stall but only after I told him I would do it [I used to be a cleaner]. I felt I was well-treated, informed and making the decisions. I would consider using his service again.

Phil altered the plumbing fixtures for a new pedestal sink in our half bath, installed shut off valves in our basement, and ultimately installed our new pedestal sink and faucet. Our house is over 100 years old, but Phil didn't seem to have any trouble working in these conditions (unpredictable fixtures, small spaces). He and his assistant were polite, efficient, and left the space as clean as they found it. Phil is very responsive - when I called him, he did not have his schedule in front of him but called me back within 24 hours to let me know when he could fit me in. He gave me a window of time for my appointment, then called me half an hour before he was going to arrive. Simply put, he is a pleasant person to work with and, even better, reliable.

I had the pleasure of working with Phil when my tenant called regarding the broken hot water heater. Phil came by ASAP to look at the problem and provided me with a response immediately. The price he provided in his estimate was fair and his work was detailed and thorough. Phil was also prompt in sending me the invoice and answered any questions that I may have. There were three jobs to do, but he could only do two; he explained the difficulty with the third and didn't charge me extra for the diagnostic time and effort he put in. He's a great guy. Parkinson brothers arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They are very personable and provide good explanations of what is wrong and how to fix it. Work was completed within 2 hours, which included a brief trip to a plumbing supply. They will be back to complete additional repairs once the necessary parts/supplies are on hand. I've been using Phil's Plumbing for 2+ years now and I'm very satisfied with the service, professionalism, and consistency of quality. For this job, Phil replaced both stems on both hot/cold kitchen faucet. Also replaced hand held sprayer on the same faucet. As always, Phil called 60 min ahead to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived and completed the work within roughly 30-40 min and cleaned up the area afterwards. It was a simply job for him but this is why I'm a repeat customer as I know what I'm getting when I hire Phil's Plumbing, quality, punctuality, and professionalism.

Phil Parkinson now has a customer for life! Last night, in these single-digit temperatures, our water main burst in our garage. My husband was able to shut off the water, but we were terrified that more of our pipes would freeze if we couldn't get it fixed and water flowing again ASAP. We called more than a dozen plumbers, and only a couple of them even called us back, and no-one would come out in the cold at night. In contrast, Phil called us back in less than 5 minutes and said he'd be over as soon as he was finished with another emergency call. He was responsive, professional, and gave up his personal time to help us out. On top of that, when he needed something extra to fix the pipe, Phil went to the local Home Depot which had already closed for the evening and convinced them to let him in so he could get the part! He fixed the pipe and helped my husband to make sure it didn't re-freeze. Thank you Phil!

Back in June, the hot water heater broke down and started to leak. There was a pool of water surrounding it and we knew we needed a new one. I called up a couple of plumbers that work in the Philadelphia area but Phil was the only one who was able to show up on time and quickly. He was cordial, professional, and stayed in constant contact with me regarding the work needed to be done. He was upfront and honest about what needed to be done. Within the day, he got the heater replaced and everything returned back to normal. Paid by credit card and he provided me with a detailed invoice that broke down everything that was done. I now have him on my phone as my go to plumber in Philadelphia. Thank you Phil for the fantastic work you done and the professionalism you showed.

Everything went really great, just like the last time Phil and Steve were working on my home. I really do recommend this company. They are very nice guys and know what they are doing. Also, its a good feeling to know that if any problems arise, I have someone I know I can rely on.

Another plumber gave me a quote for $365-600 without looking at what the problem was. We thought we had fixed the dry trap issue in the toilet and the smell was still coming so it must be a bigger problem. Phil however figured out that it was the shower's dry trap. He also showed me cost effective ways to take care of some other issues which would have otherwise cost me 100s. I'll definitely go to Phil the next time I have a plumbing problem. He's definitely going to hear from us in summer when we would like to replace an outdoor faucet with a frost free one and do some cosmetic enhancements (replace faucets) in our house. He's honorable and does what's right - a great way to build a loyal customer base. I recommend him to anyone who needs a plumbing hand.
