These guys are great. I've never met movers who actually had a positive attitude and worked as hard as these guys. I had some real challenges (killer stairs, tight corners, HEAVY stufff, etc...) and they never complained even once. So after the move, they offered to help me unload my car too... Doesn't get any better than this. No marks on the walls from the move and nothing damaged at all. Unreal... No I'm not related to anyone there. I found them on Angie's list and liked the reviews about them. Paid off.

I had a very small job and some other places were quoting me a minimum of three hours, even though I didn't need three hours. These guys quoted me $165 for two guys and a truck. Another company quoted me $300 for three hours. They got the job done in about 1 1/2 hours. I sold the house in four days and the house looked great. They were supposed to do the job on a Friday and I waited around. One of their cell phones died and they ended up not doing the job until Sunday which wasn't a problem, but it was 7 pm on Friday night and they were still saying that they were going to get to me, so we had to cancel our plans for Friday to accommodate them. I wasn’t happy that they kept telling me that he was going to come and I kept waiting around until I finally said that it wasn’t going to happen that night. When they came they did it quickly and efficiently, but it wasn't the smoothest experience. I would not hire them for a large job, but I would definitely hire them for a small job.

I had a good experience working with them. They helped us to load the boxes and move all of the furniture from our old home and even helped us to set it up in our new home. They were quick, efficient, and they came almost on time. The only negative thing was that they did a shotty job assembling some of the furniture.

The movers came almost an hour late. I called them when they were 45 minutes late, and got a call back saying they weren't sure why they weren't there yet, but assured me they were on their way. No one had come befoe hand to assess how much furniture I had, so the truck was too small and there were not enough people to get the job done effectively. They estimated 4-5 hours. It took eight. They nicked several pieces of wood furniture and completely ruined an end table by splitting the wood of the pedestal.Les told me about the table, but they had duct taped it together. He asked me if I wanted him to buy another but I explained that this was a solid wood table bought in Lancaster County. We agreed that I would look for the receipt and get back to him. I contacted them later about the value of the table and while they responded by email a couple of times, I never received any compensation. I just lt it go... I must say Les is a very nice young man, but this is not a professional company. I think they should just do small moves and learn to handle furniture more carefully.

They accommodated us by switching days on short notice due to a weather prediction. Les showed up with two employees. They were on time and pleasant to talk to throughout the day. On two occasions I asked them to move furniture when I didn't like it in its current location and they obliged. They took 15 minutes longer than expected and charged us $45 because of this. They scratched the following items: two hardwood stairs, one spindle on the stairs, one framed mirror, and two coffee tables. Also, the blankets they used to protect the furniture in transit were filthy. I cleaned my furniture prior to the move and it all came out of the truck covered in dirty dust. I would not use them again.

The service was excellent. They communicated quickly and kept in contact throughout the move. They were very careful with the furniture. There was no damage to the items, the house, or apartment in moving even though it was raining. They worked quickly and didn't take breaks or waste time. The men were always pleasant and friendly. They even cleaned some of the furniture before and after the move. They were very honest. I would definitely use this mover again.

Les was very responsive when I emailed him with questions. Overall, I was quite pleased with the service for the price. The movers were friendly, careful with my stuff and easy to work with. The move was completed within the time quoted. Only one item got damaged, and it was an IKEA piece, notoriously hard to move! The only criticism I have is that punctuality (or maybe communication?) seems to be a problem. The movers were an hour late arriving, even after they called and said "we'll be there in 15 minutes," with no apology or explanation when they arrived. Similarly, they took nearly an hour to make the 15 minute drive between the old apartment and the new house. I guess they took a break on the way, which is, of course, fine. I just wish I had known about it ahead of time. I started to get worried as I waited, alone at my empty house for the movers to materialized with all my stuff! On the positive side, they did not charge me for that time.

They were absolutely wonderful. They were a little bit late. They were really careful with my stuff. They worked really hard. I thought it was a reasonable price.

Les and Tom were great. The were able to take an entertainment center and a sofa bed out the front door, around the house and down some bilco doors to get it into the basement. It was a tight fit, but they did it. They were very careful to protect all the furniture with blankets to make sure nothing was damaged. I was also able to have them remove furniture from a small room, so I could change the area rug in that room. They were very helpful and very courteous. I will definitely call them back for any heavy moving situations. They were very handy to have around. My husband and I were overjoyed not to have had to move that furniture ourselves. It was worth every penny.

It didn't GO. I had to hire someone else to make the move.

This guy specialized in local moves and was able to accommodate all my boxes in one trip. When they arrived at my new place, they even put them inside the house.

I am disabled and unable to move myself at this point. This company was excellent to work with. They were professional, courteous, and on time. They moved everything and brought protective blankets and other necessary items. It started to rain in the midst of moving items out of my old apartment. They did what they had to do to keep everything as dry as possible. It did take a little longer to move than I first anticipated, but this company is reliable and definitely worth every penny. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They brought their own truck. No hidden fees, and showed up on time. We did not sign a contract everything was honest, which is really rare these days. They took care in my furniture, as if it was their own. I really recommend this father and son team. At least that is who moved me.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Les Moving for You. On my particular move day, Lester and his father Tom moved all of our stuff within the span of a Saturday. They were incredibly hard working though I think they anticipated a smaller job based on my emailed descriptions. Also, since we were moving into a third floor Brownstone apartment with a narrow staircase, they had to be creative in getting things upstairs and through the door. Nothing was damaged in moving into the new apartment and there is honestly no way we would have been able to do the move without them!
