JJ Laurich had previously completed another project for us, and I was pleased to engage them for this gutter work. They began by examining the existing gutter and determining where the problems were. We then discussed possible solutions, and decided to go with 0.32 gauge, aluminum, seamless, 5" K gutters and 2" by 3" downspouts. After a short wait for the seamless gutters to be cut to size by the distributor, Jim and Bob returned to do the work, which they completed in a single day. After removing the existing gutters, they installed aluminum fascia prior to attaching the new gutters. They then installed the new gutters and downspouts, adjusting them in such a manner that they function considerably better than the ones they replaced. In addition, the new gutters have added a new aspect of "curb appeal" to the house. It should also be noted that they did a very thorough job of cleaning up afterwards, and did not harm any of the plantings in the beds that line the front of the house. I would highly recommend them for work of this type of work..

JJ Laurich Builders were recommended by a highly-rated Angie's List contractor who had installed a 2-car garage door for us. I had noticed a rotted wood panel above the garage door, and wanted to have it replaced following the installation of the new door. Jim and Bob came out and gave me an estimate for the work, which I thought was reasonable. However, since I wanted to be sure that the damage had not been caused by termites, I asked them to delay the work until I had a pest inspector out. They readily agreed. Fortunately, the inspector concluded there was no active termite activity, and Jim and Bob returned promply to do the work. To expedite the process, they had purchased, rough-cut, and primed the wood that was to be used. Therefore, when they returned, they were able to complete the project in a single morning, including adding a second coat of paint. When they were finished, the repaired section looked like new. I was so pleased that I engaged them for a completely unrelated gutter replacement project (see second review). .
