The inspection was wonderful. He was scheduled for 10am, we got there at 9:55am and he was already out of his truck and finishing up inspecting the outside of the house. He started the inspection in the basement which he described to be the best determination of the quality of structure and house. Bob tested all the electrical outlets and noticed many things the average inspector would not find. He has over 14 years inspection experience and also shared that he was previously a builder. He was in the house and outside for a little over an hour and a half providing a very thorough inspection. He gave us tips and pointers of what to watch out for as well. He took many pictures and will provide a detailed report for us to review.

Bob was referred to us by a friend who had used him. Bob came out to look at the scope of work. I was impressed with his overall construction knowledge as he pointed out various pitfalls to avoid when replacing our vanities. He was here for over an hour, taking detailed measurments and tracing the plumbing down to the basement. Four days later, he sent me an email with a cost estimate that was lower than 2 other bids we had solicited from other contractors. Bob simply charged us for the labor to remove our old vanities and install our new vanities. We purchased the vanities from Lowes and had them delivered. For the painting, he charged us for his labor plus the cost of the paint. Bob scheduled the work around our busy schedules, and began his work 3 weeks after we accepted his bid. He showed up on time each day to begin his work, and was finished in 4 days. He cleaned up nicely at the end of each day, and was careful not to soil or damage our carpets and floors. He also recommended some special cleaning products to get our bathroom floors (ceramic tiles) to really sparkle. Our bathrooms look like new !
