We found ATV through Angie's List and are so glad we did! We've had terrible experiences with contractors in the past so had pretty low expectations going in. These guys were superb though and we are already planning our next project with them. They have become our go-to contractor for sure. Besides doing good work for a fair price, the best part about working with these guys is the exceptional communication. Mike was my main point of contact and would regularly check in as the project was progressing. If I wasn't happy with something, I only had to tell Mike about it and he would make sure it was taken care of. He never made me feel like I was being too nit picky, which I know some contractors do. They were always friendly and professional and just all-round nice guys. Just great to work with overall! Have recommended ATV to several neighbors and friends.

Job was on time and on budget. We even added a floor to the attic and a drop down ladder to utilize full storage space after the job was begun and they still finished on time (2 days before Christmas) and we were ready to go with our annual family Christmas party for 30 ! Their price was quite competitive and I was very impressed with the quality of their work. The entire house was painted and hardwood floors that were very damaged were redone. Once the kitchen was opened they had to find some hardwood to match the floor since tile had been there and they did a beautiful job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

It has been about 8 months since they finished work, and we remain quite pleased. The final project is of exceptional quality. We had two minor problems with a scratch to our vanity top and caulking that needed to be fixed because of temperature changes which caused expansion/contraction. They addressed the issues promptly and without any charge. The project came with a two-year warranty, and we are confident that they will address any future problems that may develop (although we do not anticipate any). Overall, we highly recommend ATV.

Team was responsive and very professional. They ran into some issues because it is a very old house, but were able to remain in budget and on time for the most part. (Humidity made the set time for tiles, etc. longer than anticipated.)

These guys are well networked, have excellent employees, cleanup every day, keep you involved in the decision process and really care about making sure you are satisfied with the process and end product. My wife and I could not be happier. Basically, we chose the materials and they did all installations. We didn't want someone who was going to shove builder grade materials down our throats and these guys do not do that. They get you started on what you need, you shop, they install. Everything "on the other side of the wall" was included...those things you don't think or know about. We shopped tile, vanity, mirrors, shower door. the rest was built and done in such a professional manner. It's been near a year now since completion and not one issue.

These guys are great! So here you go: 1: Called or texted before each visit. 2: Kept the impact on our lives at a minimum by discussing the project thoroughly before starting. 3: Stayed true to the schedule. 4: All employees were very polite and cleaned up after themselves each day by vacuuming and wiping down surfaces. 5: Minor changes were required due to unknown factors and they were very fair and accommodating. These were primarily code issues that needed to be addressed for our safety. 6: Certain suggestions were made to increase pressure in the shower prior to construction after I mentioned we were unhappy with the pressure. That was addressed nicely which brings me to my next point.... They listen to what you want and do their best to make that happen. 7: Not for one minute did I feel like I was being led into anything other than what we requested and what was required to do it right. 8: Schedule was kept, work was done beautifully, we paid remaining balance and they were done. 9: However, we did receive additional calls to make sure everything was operating correctly...Nice! 10: Professional, Clean, Supportive and just really nice guys (everyone of them). On another note: My wife and I were considering just changing the shower by adding that latex stuff as an enclosure. We were quoted by two companies between $6,000 & $11,000 for just that. The company that quoted $11,000 tried to hard sell us and came down almost $3,000 in a 1/2 hour discussion with the old buy now and save routine. For this job, ATV said, we'll handle the labor and construction materials (behind the scenes stuff) for around $XXX and you buy the tile, shower door, vanity or whatever else and we will install for the whole bathroom! That gave us the option of keeping our old vanity, putting up a shower curtain rod if we wanted...whatever. It turns out we bought all new stuff but THAT WAS OUR DECISION and had no impact on their cost whatsoever. The bathroom is my design and their build but they can do both if you want. So.... if you don't like something in the pictures...it not their fault. All said and done.. Around 10K in labor and 3.5K in materials. Weigh that against the $11,000 miracle latex shower enclosure and remember that you will be looking at a total bathroom remodel. To be fair, the guy at 6K was probably a fair price but why go with plastics when you can do real stone and ceramics...check out the shower! I need to put a bluetooth speaker in their for my half hour showers I've been taking (overhead rain, jets, wand).

ATV General Contractors were efficient, productive and fairly priced. Their workers cleaned out and removed all materials in my basement that was affected and disposed of it. The job demanded a great deal of cleanup and removal. All mold was completely removed and the workers cleaned up after completing the job. I would hire them again if I ever needed work done in and around my home.

This turned out so much better than I had ever hoped. From start to finish, this was a pleasure. Mike came to the house timely and looked at the scope of work. Fred and Kurstan came the first day to frame out the closet. After that I worked with Fred, who was very careful to discuss the layout and process with me at each step. His work is beautiful. He is very clean in his work, too. Each night, there was nothing that indicated he'd ever been there except for the progress on the project. I'm so happy with the result, I can't stop looking at it. This closet replaced an Ikea wardrobe that took all the light out of the room, it was so big and boxy. The new closet is angled so that more light comes in through the window. Fred understood that intention right away. He also lined it with cedar. Now I have a place to store the winter coats and vacuum cleaner, along with a shelf that holds containers for hats/scarves/gloves, and it's so nice, like I said, I can't stop looking at it. I can't wait to work with them again. My highest regard.

Great. Complete new basement, framing, drywall installation, duct work, electrical, carpet installation. Everything was itemized for specific cost and process and the team was extremely detailed in walking me through the steps/cost. Highly recommend this contractor.

My experience with ATV General Contractors was great from start to finish. First of all I was impressed with how quickly I received a response to my request for an estimate. Mike met with me at my house and we went over my long wish list. He took the time to answer all of my questions and discuss exactly what I wanted done. He was professional and friendly and not at all "salesmanish" if you know what I mean lol. A day or two later Mike emailed me a very detailed, itemized estimate and I was happy to find out that I was able to do everything on my wish list and stay within my budget! Next I met co-owner and head contractor the amazing Anthony. Anthony and his team would be handling my remodel. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous and stressed since, to me, this was a lot of money I was spending and certainly not something I do often. Anthony gave me such a sense of confidence after meeting with him discussing every little detail of what I wanted to accomplish with this dream remodel of mine. He really listened and was able to answer my questions and relieve my stress. Anthony scheduled a start time that was good for me and the fun began. Everyone on his crew was awesome. Randy was amazing working h****** my flooring which turned out gorgeous. Glen was great doing a bit of everything. Besides Anthony, Fred was the guy who was there the most doing all of the carpentry and detailed work. Fred did a great job on everything but I have to say the glass subway tile backsplash blew me away. I love the finished product. I did end up going a little over budget because I kept adding things along the way. Anthony was very accommodating with my additions and changes. Of course those things stretched the time frame so the job took an extra 2 weeks which is understandable. It was originally expected to take 2 weeks but ended up taking 4 weeks. Like I said, that was due to my add-ons and some time waiting for a replacement cabinet door because Anthony didn't like the seam on the original door (I could barely notice it)... yes, he's that good lol! One more important detail to mention is that the crew cleaned up at the end of each day which was great. My remodel, especially my kitchen, looks so good. It turned out better than I had imagined. I'm more than satisfied with everything and that is why I rated ATV General Contractors with an A. I would highly recommend them.

It was extremely difficult to set up a fixed date & time for the job to be done. Also the job is still not complete to date!!! The main reason I got them is to replace my under sink kitchen cabinet , which has still not been done to date . Also one of their guys Joe is extremely slow & not very proficient in his work Very difficult to get hold of them & to get a response from them

ATV General Contractors completed every phase of remodeling in our house. My wife and I bought a fixer upper (the house was built in 1918) and hired ATV to completely rehab the place. They gutted the whole house, ran all new electric and plumbing, insulated the house and then sheet rocked everything. Once this phase was done, they installed all of the new trim, installed radiant heat floors in the bathrooms and kitchens (WE LOVE THIS FEATURE), and completed the tile floors. They then installed our cabinets and granite countertop, the cabinets are hung perfectly, nice and sturdy and look beautiful. The last thing to be done on the interior of the house was refinish our hardwood floors (they look amazing) and paint (which also looks amazing). This is just the interior work they provided, now lets talk about the exterior. Our house has three porches that needed to be completely redone. There is a very large front porch with 6 large pillars, a back porch, and a back upper balcony off of the main hallway. ATV removed all of the old wood, fixed any deck support beams that needed work, and then redecked everything with Cedar # 1 boards, which look beautiful. For the front porch we needed to do some work on the load bearing pillars, they jacked the roof up slightly by each pillar so they could replace all of the wood underneath, and build the new support platforms. They then sanded and refinished each pillar so they look brand new. ATV finished our home quickly and the quality of work is out of this world. We get compliments every time someone new comes over and sees all of the woodwork and trim work that is in our house. They did not rush the job or cut any corners. They worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was okay with everything that was getting done. I plan on using them again in the next few years to put on our addition that we are planning for.

ATV came out to my property when a part of my porch roof was damaged by a negligent contractor a few weeks earlier. They replaced the damage section in a timely fashion and charged below the prices quoted to me by other companies.

They were professional and courteous. I would recommend First Trust to any property owner in need of quick and efficient property restoration services.
