Very well.... On time each time, brought suficient crew in to get the job done on time, very considerate of the fac that I needed to get my kids to daycare and myself to work as soon as I could.

I recently purchased a house that left a lot to be desired when it came to the wiring, panel and fuse boxes in the basement. The service was only 100 amp as well. I wanted to upgrade to 200 amp service and get the rats nest of wires in the basement fixed. I searched Angie's List and found Mike's Electric. He had a good rating and great reviews so I gave him a call. Despite that fact that I was an hour away, Mike had no problem coming out to take a look and provide me with an estimate. He originally quoted me between $1900-2000 to do the upgrade and installation. He was very flexible in working with me and my hectic schedule and called to schedule the work within a week of doing the estimate. He maintained the original quote despite the fact that the work was probably more extensive than what he first realized. They cleaned up very nicely after themselves once the work was completed and he even called the next day to ensure that I wasn't having any issues. To sum it up, Friendly, Courteous and Professional. A top-notch job and I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Mike gave us a complete estimate of the work and did all the footwork with local permits and inspections. He also filed the paperwork for our PA energy tax credit. Mike is a high energy owner who takes great pride in his work. Start to finish on our project was 2.5 days and he worked around our busy schedule. He has a passion for solar energy and we would recommend him to our neighbors. In fact, we plan to use him again for a much larger solar project in 2010.

Mike returned our initial call promptly and came out within just a couple days to give an estimate. He provided references, a contact to confirm that he is licensed/bonded, and brands of products he uses. His pricing was near, but below, the upper limit of the estimates we obtained from other contractors. However, we had done research previously on panel boxes and breakers and knew he, unlike some of the others, was using quality materials. Additionally, he was the only one who also contracted with PP&L. This man has SOME work ethic! Worked 8 hours straight without taking breaks, despite our offer of something to drink or eat. Didn't even take a break to warm up; and it was a cold, gray blustery day. He didn't make much of a mess and insisted on cleaning up what little debris there was, even after I told him I'd be happy to take care of it. Now, if only my family would do that LOL!
