Bob Swidorsky worked with us from start to finish to replace our carpet in our newly purchased house with linoleum. First, Riverview Carpet was the only company I talked to that understood what real linoleum was (it is a green ecologically friendly material that is NOT the same thing as vinyl flooring), and they actually seemed to have experienced people to install the stuff. He walked us through the entire process, kept in contact regularly, and made sure we were happy every step along the way.

It went well. They arrived on time, finished in a professional manner. The cleaned rugs were picked up, cleaned, and returned on time and in great condition. Would definitely recommend them.

Sean listened to our description of the project, and made great recommendations. Products were ordered and arrived in a timely manner. Sean was highly responsive and had great follow through, even when our original color choice was no longer available.

Everything with Riverview Carpet & Flooring, Inc. went very smoothly. The customer service was excellent, with all of the people that I worked with in the store. The installation went well this time and the two men working on it were finished in a reasonable amount of time. I wanted to use a local company instead of going to a big box store.

I ended up not buying anything; it was too expensive. The store had a fabulous selection and I liked the salesman because he was straightforward, did not push me to buy anything in particular and gave me real good advice.

A great experience start to finish. We just bought a house with a very open floor plan. The entire 2nd floor looked shabby because the carpet was very loose, rippled, dirty and stained. We wanted to show our house to our friends pre-renovations and then get the carpet stretched and cleaned before we had furniture and boxes all over the place. Sean was great on the phone accommodating our very specific date requests, even calling back the day after originally scheduling to say he thought it might work better if we did it another way. On the day we scheduled, Eric showed up right on time, gave an estimate, which we were happy with, for the stretching and the cleaning, and proceeded straight away to start stretching the carpet. He did excellent work and was patient and accomodating, working around another workman who was there building a staircase from our 2nd to 3rd floor. It took about 3 hours to stretch the carpet. At the end of stretching, he vacuumed up, the plan being to return the next day to do the cleaning. On day 2 he showed up right on time again, did a very thorough cleaning, removed some horrific soiled areas, small spots as well as overall dirt. The carpet dried quite quickly and was ready to be walked on by the end of the day. The cleaning may have seemed a bit expensive compared to advertised rates of Coit, etc., but it was a large area (including stairs), it came totally clean, dried quickly, was Scotchguard'ed on the high traffic areas, and the service was fantastic! As Eric said, they're up front about the pricing and don't add extra items on the back end. We feel we saved at least $1000 on the cost of new carpet as well as the inconvenience of having carpet installed around the time of our move. Based on our very positive experience I would definitely use Riverview Carpet again.

This was company was excellent! They went above and beyond to do the best work for me. The flooring they installed looked good and was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely use this company again if I needed new flooring.

It went great! We found Riverview through Angie's list and went to the store to see the selections and were very pleased with the wide variety. Sean was the sales rep at the store. He was very friendly and professional. We gave him the dimensions of the rooms and he gave us some samples to take home. A few days later Sean gave us an estimate based on our final selection and arranged for Bobskey to come by to confirm the dimensions, which he did a few days later. The carpet came in earlier than expected and we set a date for the installation. Eric and Vince removed the old carpet and pad and installed the new over two days. They were very professional and friendly. The bedroom was done the first day so we could use it and they finished on time the second day. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout.

I thought they did a good job. It looks great. One of the things I liked about the man that installed the linoleum flooring is that he trimmed the bottom of the doors so that they open and closed easily with the new flooring.

said since it didn't take as long as was expected that they were only charging $95 which we felt was very nice since we originally thought it would be about $150 and had been OK with that cost. We highly recommend them and will have them again if the need arises for a repair and definately will have them if we need new carpet installed.

Bob came out to house and really took the time to understand what my constraints were and what we were and were not looking for. He was VERY patient with us and gave us even more time at the showroom to dither over multiple flooring options at various price points. During this process I never once felt like I was being "sold" on anything. He provided the input and options and we drove the decision. The install fell within the estimated time frame and the result was stunning. The craftsmanship was outstanding. The only thing that would have made me happier is if I'd had the whole house done and not just two rooms.

They were great, from estimate to the finished job. The price was very good, they came on time and did a very effective job. They also removed spots that other carpet cleaners had left behind. We recommend them entirely.

The installation,and cleanup went very well and both the carpet and kitchen floor look great. There was considerable carpet left after the bedroom was finished. Subsequently, the installer suggested to carpet my basement steps with the rest. He needed to get OK from management and came back the next day to do the steps. This worked out well since I had taken both days off from work. I was particularly pleased that the installer made the suggestion of utilizing the extra carpet instead of simply having it stored as leftover. In addition, I'd like to state that Riverview installers are very polite, flexible and open to ideas and extremely skilled and professional!

They are excellent. They had several areas and furniture that needed cleaning. They did it all professional and it turned out well. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The workers were wonderful and hardworking. They completed the work in two days and did a wonderful job. The owner is spectacular and really works with you and listens to your ideas. They are scheduled to do more work for me once my kitchen is completed.
