concrete repair
+ -1 moreWe originally did NOT hire Frank. He was hired by our contractor and I did not know anything about him. We trusted our contractor to get someone reputable. If I had it to do over again, I would NOT.
Description of Work: Remove and replace 5 x 8 foot front porch and manufactured stone on front panels of house. Frank came out with sons and removed the old porch -- destroying much of the lawn and landscape lights in the front of the house. He did an OK job on replacing the porch with proper footers. However, the side walk cracked away from the porch within a month and the rest of the sidwalk now has multiple cracks. He failed to install any expansion joints. When our contractor asked him about fixing it, he said that "all cement cracks". He would not come out and as a result our contractor is having someone else repair it ,. Also, 2 of the 3 stone panels that he replaced were fine. However, on the third one he ran out of stone so , rather than buy another box of stone, he spread out the ones that he had and filled in with mortar. It looked awful, so, once again. our contractor paid someone elso to remove and replace that section of stone. .

+ 0 moreThey came out but they disappeared and didn't give me a quote, which is the way it is with a bunch of Pittsburgh contractors. I tell them I want to give them a bunch of money and they say awesome and then disappear. They did my sister's place and they did a nice job on it. They came out and looked at the project but they never sent me a quote. I didn't end up needing the job done anyway. He did answer the phone normally but I never called him back about the quote. I would consider using him in the future because he did a nice job on my sister's place.
Description of Work: I had Lombardo Concrete come out to give me a quote to dig out the side of a hill to put in a garage and pour a cement foundation. I wanted them to break up the sides and I was going to go with someone else for the roof.

+ -1 moreFrank was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. His bid was well below others that I received, he and his crew were on time or early, and the quality of the work was excellent. I had a neighbor who was angry about the project (and even called the police), but Frank was calm and polite when beng challenged by this woman. I absolutely recommend Lombardo Concrete.
Description of Work: Replaced 20 x 20 drivewy, replaced front steps, and replaced back ramp with steps,
