They came out the next day and gave us a quote, which was pretty much faster than anyone else. There was somewhat of a delay of when they could do the work. We got several quotes, I can’t remember who we did use in the end. I think it was them. My wife was dealing with this, honestly.

The work was on time. My wife was dealing with this, so I don?t want to say things that are or are not true. The only thing I can speak to is in terms of timing. I would probably give them ?A?s? for everything, but punctuality. I would give them a ?B?, just cause it took them a long time from the time that we had initially signed, given them the deposit to the time they could actually do the work. Otherwise everything else was fine. It was cold, that?s all I remember, but the ground wasn?t frozen. They were going to wait till the ground froze, but the ground never really froze this year, because it had been such a warm winter. They couldn?t finish the tree work and I don?t know if they are ever going to be able to finish grinding the stumps. They did what we asked them to do. They cleared all the debris up, things were clean after we got home, without a mess.

I have called many days at many times. No answer. No way to leave message. Have used them many times and they were excellent. What's up with them??

A large crew of men used large equipment to do the work. It was done in a timely manner. It was exactly what I requested and they cleaned up. The crew was very polite & skilled. I have recommended this co. to my friends. It's expensive but worth the price.

Everything from initial phone call finished end of the job was perfect, very professional, did a great job & cleaned up thoroughly.

Needed a tree removed and several stumps ground from trees previously removed. They were very responsive and professional at a very reasonable cost. The left are yard very clean, looked like no one was ever there.

I had called several businesses, and this was the only one who followed through with an estimate. They came when they said they would, they completed all of the work, and they cleaned up the area beautifully. They also took down a few branches on other trees at no extra charge. They were very professional and friendly. I thought the price was excellent for the amount of work they did. I plan to use them again for some pruning this fall.

I really liked them. It was high because, I have four big Pinto tree's.

From the first time we called to have someone give us an estimate, we were treated professionally. They came when they said they would and left an estimate that we were happy with. We called and set up the job giving a 10% deposit. The day of the removal, they arrived on time. The guys were super nice and very efficient. The tree came down without problem. They cut the wood for burning and set it aside as requested by us. The small branches were put through the chipper and hauled away. The guy removing the stump took his time and did a wonderful job. When it was all ground out, they spent a lot of time cleaning up the yard. Except for an area of the yard that once had a tree, you never would have known they had been there! Our brother-in-law came with his pick-up to take the fire wood. The guys were even nice enough to help load his truck. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Fantastic, came in a removed both trees and clean up very well until stump could be grind, then returned to finish – up and cleaned up everything a second time can't tell where trees where is not for the bare dir.

3 individuals arrived to do the work. Contract price reasonably priced. They did a very nice job and we are fully satisfied. I generally never recommend companies but I would recommend them and have done so already

DJ called, set date & time, was on time. Finished work in timely manner. This company is very professional, as are their employees.

They took a first look at my tree, said they needed to bring a foreman out before they’d make an estimate. In the meantime, 3 weeks went by, I gave up waiting to hear back from B J, and I signed with another company, Kruljac. Then one day a B J foreman came by, unannounced, so I told them I already had a contract on the job. When I told B J the price that Kruljac quoted me, they said that was lower than they were going to ask, anyway. Grade: C (I don’t understand why there’s so much grade inflation here on Angie’s List. If 95% of all grades given are “A” then grades carry almost no informational value. In my book, A=excellent, B=good, C=ok, D=poor, F=fail)

Very prompt on coming to the house and providing the estimate. In fact, Scott was honest and said the tree would look worse if they trimmed it than if I left it alone. Said the tree was healthy and they didn't see a need to do anything, but would reshape it if I wanted to proceed with the work. I appreciate their honesty and will definitely call them again. It's refreshing to encounter someone so honest.

They were very professional; the cutting involved climbing tall trees and cutting limbs as they worked their way down, finally they would fell the tree near the base and cut close to the ground; it was a lot of work; they cleaned up well (they used a wood chipper) and accommodated by requests. They had about 8 persons on the job, and it took them about 5 hours. The tree climber entertained my neighbors grand children with trapeze-like movements.

After getting in touch with B & J, it only took a day for someone to come to our home and provide us with an estimate to remove a large pine tree. Unfortunately, I had to leave the house for about 1/2 hour and within that time frame Scott came to give us the estimate we had requested. Unfortunately there had been some sort of mix-up and an estimate to remove the wrong tree was left in our mailbox. I called the office and the girls there could not have been nicer. They told me that Scott would be back out within the next day or two to look at the correct tree, which he did. He gave us a fair price and we told him to go ahead with the work which they scheduled for the very next day. Whenever the crew arrived, Scott also came to give them instructions on what was to be done. At that time I asked him for a price to cut the smaller pine also. He did so and again, the price was fair and we accepted, so now not only one tree was being removed, but they were taking down 2 trees. The crew started working immediately and they were amazing.. They removed the two pine trees from the top of our driveway, one that had been damaged from a combination of recent strong wind gusts and ants. and a smaller tree that was bent from the force of many years of wind and storms. The crew worked practically non-stop. They removed all the debris and our driveway looked as though no one had even been there. We were very impressed with their work ethics and professionalism and would not hesitate to hire them again if needed. We definitely recommend B & J.

They came and it was a small tree not a major job so there was a little wait but they did a really good job. They cleaned up and were very professional. They were really good. It was a small job and we waited about a month but that was expected. They kept their appointments and let us know. They were very professional.

I was very pleased with the services provided by B.J. Tree service. They came quickly and gave an estimate. They scheduled the tree removal in a timely manner. Arrived on the day specified. Removed the fallen tree from the standing tree without causing any further damage to the standing tree. The entire area was left completely clean. I was extremely impressed , relieved, and happy. The person that did the estimate was knowledgeable and professional. We were impressed with him. We were happy with the work they did. They had a large crew with a lot of equipment. They got the work done in the afternoon.

I wanted a tree trimed next to my house. I specifically asked to be give a couple days notice because I wanted to be home when they did this. A few days later I got a call left on my voice mail, stating they would have a truck in my area today. I just happened to check my voice mail. I was at work. So I called and had to tell them again, please give me more notice. They said they would mark it and that they would call to tell me when I would be scheduled. A few days later I got another call saying they would have a truck in my area and that they could do it that very day. Again I called to tell them please give me more notice.. She said ok. The next day I came home from work and the work had been done. The tree was trimed and a bird feeder on a branch of that tree was thrown into the next yard. The branch the feeder was on was cut off. I called the office they had no idea why the work was done that day. I would never use this service again, and if I were you Id stay away! I never got an apology from this company either. I would be happy to settle this with them, if they apologize and maybe give me $50 off. I just got the bill yesterday.

The crew of 6 men arrived on time, were courteous and professional. When they had finished, they cleaned up as well, you would never known they were even there!
