Went very well from the estimate appointment until the job was completed. The work crew went about their tasks competently and with professionalism. A few questions asked by me were promptly answered and the cleanup upon completion was very through.

It was really nice. They seem very personable. They seem very cordial and knowledgeable. 11/6/13: The work itself was good, but we were dissapointed as they did not get the job done in a timely manner and they did not do a good job with follow up/staying in contact. One time they also said they would be there on a specific date and they did not show up at all.

N/A - provider stopped by but never followed up with quote or returned calls. Would not recommend.

Rick Gregor is a very professional contractor. He sent a written estimate , addressed all our concerns, answered our questions whenever we called. His crew was very good, on time and did a great job. They cleaned up well after the job daily. He was there on the job daily making sure that it is done well. They kept us informed if they could not come etc. We were very happy with the work. We will recommend this company very highly.

Left a message, never got a return call. Guess he has too much business and doesn't need anymore.

Rick was first company to return my call, he was near by so he came right then to assess and give estimate. They purchased matching shingles, fixed missing shingles the next day, left remaining with me in case we have others to replace. They made it easy to deal with a repair, highly recommend.

Rick Gregor was the only roofer from Angie's List that contacted me after I had put in many requests. He was responsive, prompt and very informative. His estimate was very fair in comparison to other estimates I had received. The only reason we did not Rick was because he was very booked with jobs and we were in a desperate situation to get our roof done ASAP. He was very professional and understanding and I would recommend him for any job.

The work never began as I never got a quote or a visit from Gregor Roofing. I called and left a message asking for a an immediate repair of some facia that had pulled away and a quote for a new roof, gutters, and gutter guards sometime in the fall or spring. (I realize it's all weather dependent and I have an awning that would be taken down in the fall) I received a call from Gregor Roofing within days to set up an appointment on a particular day. I told him I may not be in, give a quote on the roof, gutters, guards, etc. and explained where the immediate repairs needed to be made. He never arrived as the immediate work was not done and a quote for the rest was never received. My following calls were never answered. I'm disappointed.

Rick returned my phone call promptly and came over to give us an estimate. I ordered the attic fan online and called him when it arrived. His employee arrived on time and completed the installation. I will definitely call Gregor Roofing for any future roofing issues.

I appreciated the company promptly calling me back to tell me that they would be unable to perform work at my house in the time period that I needed it done. Very professional, as most companies do not bother to call back if they are too booked to take more work.

Dealing with Gregor Roofing was a very pleasant experience. From initial call to final payment for work done, the entire process was very smooth and professional. Rick promptly returned calls, offered suggestions, did the job very professionally, and left the surrounding yard very clean. I would certainly use Gregor Roofing again, and would recommend them to anyone who needed a new roof.

Rick came promptly to give us a quote. He was very prompt and professional and seemed the most knowledgeable about our different roofing options. He even drove us around the niehborhood to show us what different shingles looked and he gave us many samples to look over. They had the best price. They came to replace our roof when they said they would and worked every day to get it done. They did a good clean up too. The workers we spoke to were friendly and courteous.

Gregor Roofing was selected to do this work, as they were the lowest bid for materials and installation. The Symphony imitation slates are a premium product, and other roofing contractors who quoted the job seemed to go out of their way to pile on $$ extras and options, while Gregor was very straightforward and professional during the quotation process. I am not sure that anyone is "happy" to lay out big bucks for a premium product, but I have the opinion that Gregor charged me the same installation labor rates as he would have charged for an asphalt roof. Therefore, I did not have any feeling of price gouging from Gregor. There was a little uncertainty in communication about the date of start of the installation; however, April is the start of roofing season due to weather, so I guess the customer should allow for some flexibility in scheduling. Once the job started, Gregor completed the project in 4 straight days. They arrived each morning on time at 7:30AM and worked until the end of the afternoon. The workers were friendly, helpful and professional. They cleaned up the jobsite every day, and they were especially good at removing all the nails and debris from the old roof. So far I have only found 1 nail in the yard that they missed, which is amazing. We have school age children, and the workers seemed to be careful to avoid any adult language, etc., during their work. Very pleasant. The job was installed as quoted. The one change in scope was the addition of plywood decking. However, that issue was identified as a well known potential problem during the quotation process, and the correction was provided as per a predetermined unit rate based on the square footage that was replaced. Also, this change was handled quickly and only added a small extension in the installation schedule. The installation appears to be high quality with good workmanship. Every roof surface, including edges, ridges, flashing, and valleys, appears to be uniform and consistent. I will update if anything changes after we get some big thunderstorms or heavy snow next winter, but I am very happy with the end result. For the polymer slate roof shingle product, I would not hesitate to recommend Gregor to my friends or family.

Rick was the only roofer who asked to inspect our attic before giving the estimate. His typed estimate explained everything in detail to ensure that we knew exactly what services we were getting. We were impressed that his crew arrived before 8 am on the date specified by Rick in advance. They were efficient and completed the work in two days. We are very pleased with the results and we would definitely use Gregor's services again.

Gregor Roofing came out to give us as estimate on our roof and gutters as our gutters were in desperate need of repair. Rick Gregor was very professional and knowledgeable. The estimate was reasonable for the work. We signed the estimate at the end of September. The project was actually executed in early December. I called 1-2 times to find out the schedule and the reason for the delay. Rick Gregor returned my phone call each time within 24hrs and discussed the situation. The weather and the amount of jobs in addition to ours was the explanation given for the delay. The repairs took 3-4 hours. The work site was clean and the job was well done. Our gutters work for the first time since moving into this house 5 years ago. I am pleased with the work quality and would use Gregor Roofing again.

They're reasonable in price. They were very courteous and were willing to put other projects aside to do that work, because of the importance of the project. But we're deciding to wait until the spring, but I think we will end up going with them.

Rick Gregor, the owner, was very professional in all aspects and was even hands on with his workers. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves daily. They were very organized in spite of poor weather conditions.

They were very good. We were originally trying to get the work done in the fall, but I had got the estimate late in the year and the weather was getting worse. We both decided to wait until spring and he agreed to stick with the price even though I had taken the contract in the fall. His crew was excellent. He came and checked on things everyday. I would definitely recommend them. They were very nice workmen and very courteous. They would answer any questions that I asked them or tell me that they did not know and when they were expecting the boss to come so that he could answer.

He informed me that he no longer did that type of work but he was nice enough to refer me to a company that could.

Rick Gregor measured my roof and provided an estimate within a day or two of making my initial phone call. Once I gave him the approval to begin, he dropped off samples and made color recommendations. Rick scheduled a day to begin the job, which was only a few days away - a great surprise! Rick and his crew arrived on time, and set up a dumpster that was used to carry away all debris. The job was done in a single day, and the crew cleaned up the area perfectly. We were very pleased with the professionalism and courteous nature off the crew. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for roofing.

Contractor responded promptly, assessed the problem and recommended how to correct the leak. He returned within a reasonable period of time to do the work. There has been no additional leaking since the work was completed.

See above description. Also, I object to having to indicate whether or not I would use this company again. I did not use this company, and so I can hardly say whether or not I would use it "again."

They were supposed to come take a look at my roof while I was not at home. And setup a time and date a few days later to give me an estimate and discuss the work effort. But they were a no show. I called, left couple of messages, but they did not get a response.
