Never returned my calls

The work was done in one and one half days. They were meticulous with their work. In a previous roofing job, I found roofing nails all around the house for a long time after the roof was done. I am not finding anything like that with this work. The work that was contracted was done and done right. They were professional in their work.

The work was professionally done. I found Rick to be one of those contractors who is easy to talk to and convey my thoughts, and was great at communication. Many times I sent him emails, and I'd usually get a response from him (using his BlackBerry) within an hour or so. We did run into a problem when one of his workers came alone one day to install the shutters, and he installed them incorrectly. Rather than abutting the window, he put them outside the 4" wood trim that surrounded the window. It definitely didn't look right, and Rick and I had specifically discussed exactly where they would go, because with one window, we had to deal with a nearby downspout (and so we had held up the shutter, where it was to be attached). It was very disheartening to my wife and I, because it meant that we now had holes in our aluminum siding, and the shutters had to be moved. HOWEVER, this is when you really learn what a contractor is made of, and Rick came through. He worked directly with the painter that had just painted the exterior of our home, got him to carefully fill the holes and smooth for a permanent, invisible repair. The first try wasn't quite as 'invisible' as we wanted, so Rick had it redone. The fix was all done at Rick's expense (and rightly so), and Rick gave me a break on the price originally quoted, for our troubles. So, while we all wished it never happened, Rick absolutely stuck with it and got the problem resolved to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Gregor Roofing. Rick is a true professional who cares about doing things right.

They were very professional. We were impressed with how professional they were. They did a very good job completing the project. It would have been done in two days if it hadn?t been for the weather. The workers were courteous and didn't bother us unless they needed something specific.

I was very pleased with the work, it was quick and as quoted. The only part I was slightly dissatisfied with was the time it took to get Rick out to my residence for repairs (he got out there quickly to write the estimate). I found myself calling him rather than him calling me. I will say in his defense that this February we had a catastrophic snow storm in southwestern PA and many roofers were backlogged and the good ones were working on more than one job at once. However, the goal is to properly balance the work to get to the customer as soon as possible and not take on too much as to push certain jobs back too far. From my first call to the contractor to the work being done was close to a month or longer. A few times it seemed he was going to get out to my place and do the work as he seemed to indicate he would, but as the day got closer and I called - which I always do to ensure accountability and best results - he advised he would not be able, until the final time when he indeed showed up on the date promised. In review, the work was good, the price seemed in line, and only the communication was lacking. I would use Gregor again, but would appreciate more proactive communication.

Excellent work! I called for an estimate, and not only did I have a written estimate within one week, but also several samples left for me to choose from. Very friendly, always accessible on the phone. The price was reasonable, so I booked the job. The week of my work, they called in advance to advise that they would have a dumpster dropped off and asked where it would be convenient for me to have them place it -so as not to hamper my ability to move in and out of my driveway. The day of my job they arrived on time, introduced themselves and got straight to work. The crew was friendly but very professional and never asked to use my bathroom or phone, and even replaced my burned out floodlights in the back so that I would not have to go up on the ladder! After they were done, they cleaned up my yard - not even a shingle remained! They even swept out my driveway to insure I would not get a flat! This is the best experience I have had with anyone working on my home.
