 + -1 moreGot an estimate from Fife before purchasing a new home. Price was reasonable. After the closing, we could not get Fife to call us back to schedule. After a couple weeks we received a call and a day was scheduled. Fife did not show or call.

 + -1 moreAwesome! I have called them before, reasonable price for quick response! During his visit, not only did he look at the unit I felt was the problem, my upstairs unit. He pointed out that it was actually my downstairs unit affecting the performance and cooling upstairs. Very helpful and honest.

 + -1 moreOur experience with Mr. Fife was very poor !!!
Description of Work: We contracted with Mr. Fife on May 24, 2010 to install a new hot water boiler/furnace. Mr. Fife started the work on June 17, and worked on the 18th and 21st. At this point, all work stopped. Between June 22nd and Aug. 9th I placed approximately 10 calls to Mr. Fife's answering machine, asking when he planed to finish the job... he never returned my calls. On Aug. 10th I went to his house and spoke to his daughter, who assured me that he would call me that evening...he didn't call. On Sept. 2nd I saw Mr. Fife in traffic, followed him to his destination and asked when he expected to finish the job. He said, he would be out to the house between the 6th and 13th. On Sept. 16th he came out to work on the boiler and said he would be back in a few days to complete the work. He returned on Sept. 30th to do some more work, but the job was still not quite completed. We received his invoice on Nov. 17th, but he hadn't finished the job. On Jan. 11, 2011 he came out and did finish the job. On Feb 9th he sent us another invoice that included $258.11 interest for OUR LATE PAYMENT !!! We sent him a letter with final payment, but did not include the interest charge. His work was O.K., but he was completely unprofessional and unresponsive to our complaints and needs. Dealing with him was all consuming and exhaustive!!! We would highly NOT RECOMMEND Mr. Fife for any heating and A/C work !!!
