+ -1 moreHe is a friend of ours. What stands out is he is a professional and has a good price, although, who knows, we are friends so maybe he is not always fair. But that was the experience we got.
Description of Work: I use Rick Beittel Jr Heating & Air Conditioning. He was last here for air conditioning installation.

+ -1 moreThey were terrific. It was a wonderful experience. He came by and sorted out the problem very quickly. It was very reasonable. I was very happy with the work they did. They came the same day that I called them. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Rick Beittel Jr Heating & Air Conditioning when I had a problem with my air conditioning system. Rick had put it in in 2000. He replaced my filters and checked over my whole machine. They also cleaned the whole system out.

+ -1 moreI have never put a cover on my exterior air conditioning unit ( I do have horses and hay and dust etc.). The unit was filthy after ten+ years. Rick cleaned the unit thoroughly and quickly. He started up the fan which had seized up over the long winter months. And he provided me with a new filter for my Aprilaire (attached to the air conditioner interior unit). My air conditioner was humming away pushing out lovely cool air and all before the end of the day! The total charge for all this great service was $150.00 for my first service call in 10+ years.
Description of Work: In 2002 Rick installed my central air conditioning unit at my new home in Phoenixville. I chose Rick because he was the local Fire Chief ( he would make sure we were in code), he was $5,000. less than the nearest competition ( using the exact same manufacturer's system). And his previous employer ( Midgley OIl) gave him an outstanding recommendation. The system was quickly and seamlessly installed and I have enjoyed cool breezes ever since. Yesterday (April 11,2013) I put on the air conditioning for the first time this year. I called Rick on his cell and he called back in a short time and said he would be at my home soon. He was there before 5PM and checked out my system.

+ -1 moreSurprisingly well. The old system was about 35 years old and falling apart. Looked like it weighed a ton. He showed up by himself and did whatever he needed to do by himself. He seemed trustworthy enough, so I went upstairs to bed after putting in a nights work myself. He completed the work and cleaned up after each day. By the third day, all he had left to do was instruct me on how to use the air conditioner, and do a couple of odds and ends.
Description of Work: Removed old oil fired furnace and replaced it with new one. Also installed a whole house air conditioner. Reworked the duct work to fit the new system.
