We had several things we needed an electrician for -- difficult to go into details, but it included fixing lights/installing new lights and power outlets/fishing electrical wire in complicated ways between 2 floors on opposite ends of the house. They did the work flawlessly, fast, and definitely for a fair price. However, it was very difficult to first call them and get a response, then they took a long time to finally get to us. They didn't have everything they needed to finish the work, so they said they would get the stuff and come back "later". To be fair, we didn't yet pay them until the work was completed. However, we sat there with non-vital but unfinished work for ~4-5 months. Finally, their bookkeeper must have noticed we had never paid. They called us, and seemed surprised to find that we had not paid them on purpose, because they had not finished the work. They came a few days later, finished the work, and we paid them gladly.
On the whole, I would love these guys to come back and do more work for us, but the truth is that they appeared to be swamped (or at least have more work than they want), and would rather that you leave them alone and go find someone else for God's sake.

Was very helpful in making recommendations relative to light distribution and circuits. This was an ongoing project that required the electrician to do the initial wiring while the walls were open and return after the bulk of the remodel was completed to finish the electrical side of the project. The electrician paid attention to detail; all wires were run straight, attached where appropriate; he took the time to do the job right even to the point of using a level to insure that the covers were straight and every screw was slot was in the same direction. They arrived when promised and cleaned up after he was finished. I will definitly use this company again and I highly recommend RAM Electric.
