These guys are the best. They were able to diagnose and resolve my well problem (bad pump) the same day. And the total cost was BELOW their estimates. How refreshing is that! :)

Had an annual check of furnance, Kennihan found CO2 being emitted into house beacuse of blocked vent. they cleared the blockage and replaced vent, Very satisfied with service.

overpriced-$100/hr + $75 first visit; hidden costs (travel time from office to our house and to get parts, $50/hr. for apprentice who watched and ran up/down stairs to turn water off/on); unreliable (no show & late for scheduled appointments; I had to use vacation time when they were supposed to be here); unsatisfactory work (leak due to wrong part used); poor customer service; unprepared follow-up visits; sent 3 different plumbers and each one was not briefed by previous plumber (had to spend 20 minutes with each to explain job). After spending $2300 had to tell them not to come back; finished the job ourselves. DO NOT USE Kennihan Plumbing

my experience with Kennihan Plumbing and Heating was excelent, the men were very nice and professional and the office personel were wonderful, they did and fantastic job.

My furnace is an old oil furnace which I knew may or may not be able to be repaired, but it worked intermittently. The repair person came to my house (on time) and felt that he could fix it. He worked on the electrodes (cleaning them) and replaced the nozzle. This did not work. I was then told that the electrodes were probably bad and they would need replaced. He didn't have any in stock so I had to pay his time to drive to get the part and when he installed them, they didn't work. He then decided that it was the pump, but the pump had been working earlier. I paid $550.00 for them to break my furnace completely. I will never call them again!

The owner, Bill Kennihan, who gives the estimate and sets up everything is outstanding. First rate, first class, and knows what he is talking about. The installation process went well once the dates were determined. There was a little miss communication at first, but there had been a death in the owner's family and things were up in the air for them at this time. They still made getting to my installation a priority. The initial work was a little "untidy" at first (hanging wires, insulation not neat), but the senior installer saw this and came back an additional day to make sure that everything was "cleaned up" to a higher standard.

The office personnel were very efficient and helpful, explaining the service the company offered and making us an appointment for today, 11/18/08. We received a call today that the technician was on his way and he arrived promptly on time. The technician performed a very complete and thorough check-up and cleaning on our furnace and will be back in the spring to do a check on our air conditioner. We have signed a service agreement with Kennihan and we are very satisfied with our whole experience with them. We would highly recommend this company.

Very pleased with the on-time and efficient installation of our boiler heating system. The owner and installers worked extremely well with us to make sure we addressed all of the issues in heating our home evenly and cost-effectively. Workmen were neat and careful, cleaning up after themselves. We have enjoyed the winter and especially like the wireless thermostat for our family room.
